I paint your beauty in my heart and mind
in swirling strokes of wind squalls and light;
the youthful lift of limbs of early spring,
with summer’s joyful red, with fall's surprise.
I paint you in wonder of winter’s white
through snow storm's chill and my loving eyes.
I paint you beyond the blue pain of the past
with the gray of fear the future hides.
Jealous of luring space and power of time,
yet, with all the hope, the joy, the ache
as seen in the strength of my trembling hand;
I’ll paint you again my child, mesmerized.

No litter, no rules, no society scent,
just peninsula pure soul content, ideally lent.
Awed and wowed with arms stretched wide,
I stand on Key’s narrow road, on narrow land,
surrounded by two sea gems and their sand.
This dream road sea-drowns, down south’s horizon
and thrills my innocence without even trying.
Western growth is dense and a fence in Gulf’s yard.
Her wave’s sirens are blue-salt diamonds
and I am mesmerized by their titan climbing.
East unfolds turquoise enchantments unmarred –
The playful, poetic Atlantic off guard,
bewitching and hypnotic in regard.
Dazzled, I sit in the sea, shoulders deep.
Powder soft ocean floor thrones me nicely.
I could sit the day in this sea so sultry.
Flirty, allusive, emerald joys leap
as languid, luscious wet meets sun’s glee,
sending my senses high where memories keep.
These expressive ocean blues and greens
are of patterns and ways, I have never seen.
Sensual and graceful, each sea touch is delight –
as soothing in feel as pleasure in my sight.
Before me spreads endless bounty of ocean glean.
Under Florida-kissed skies, I sit wet and serene.

Putting everything on this amazing roll
Spirit unfolding right before your eye's
Your heart is pounding totally mesmerized
Seeing your life become synchronized
With all that lives so deep inside
While we are learning to fly
Shooting our love across the sky
Spelling out all the answers why
Coming together as one is the best kind of high
Knowing commitment is never saying goodbye
The only tears falling
Are the ones that come calling
Of our bond to each other
That makes us both want to hover

I just can’t fathom the beauty that I see

Your mind spews rain of music so true
I am lost in the light of your unimpeachable words
Everything around me, in me, feels so damn absurd
I futilely try and fight a battle never won

Oh, she's beautiful
She , the only girl who left me, mesmerized .
I sat and watched as she brushed her long
golden hair. She smiled politely at everyone.
She saw good in everyone.
Many said she was the daughter of the ocean
as her hair swayed with the waves in perfect harmony.
She would lay on a rock singing with the most beautiful voice , just as I was about to talk to her. I woke up.

Selling melting stars to taste, their flames; beautiful
Be her flesh perfumed, silhouette, and dim this light
Ruby red lips in luscious; her piercing emerald eyes..
Coffee coloured cream as she these, silk splendours.
Locked in a Mercurial trance these Neptunian star's, love's song dance
How many have dreamed in its magical light
Imagining a world not of their making
Where troubles are few and wishes are granted
And peace is there for the taking….
How many lovers have basked in her glow
And to each other made promises so sweet
With this gift of light from the heavens above
The moment of joy now somehow complete …
How many children have looked at the moon
Hoping to see that fabled man’s face
Imagining he’s there looking back at them
From that far away mysterious, magical place...
Mesmerized by the Monarch's flight
Flutter and swirling in the air
It danced around me so light
WIth happiness in its flare
it landed close to me a lot
Circling around me today
Taking rests in each peaceful spot
I watched it lift me on its way
My head turned with each move made
Such celebration to see
Not a reason to be afraid
Mesmerized by serenity
My friend went along it's journey
Leaving me standing in its wake
Altered by swirling memory
With nothing left at stake

I can mesmerize you before I truly come out.
Then, you will know what I am really about.
Articulation is just one of my strong suits.
But, don't get it twisted, I will come right at you.
You may not like the words that come off my tongue.
But, I carry a big stick and a big 'ole gun.
So, whosoever out there that has a problem with that.
Please meet me on the other side of the tracks.
I'm a professional brotha with a streak of dirt.
And, I really don't mind putting in a little work.
I could turn that into my after hours hobby.
Repelling down into an upscale lobby.
That is how easy a person could be mesmerized.
And, the last thing they would show is silver-dollar eyes.
Because, they know the reason you are actually there.
An unexpected situation, with no time to prepare.
I was mesmerized by her...

Caramel dipped in
seduction
She was what dreams
we're made of
The gaze of her brown eyes
put men in a trace
made souls quake
and hearts dance
she be God's rhythm
Her walk told a story
the switch in her hips
sang lullabies only
the fiber of my being
could hear
her admiration

sapphire lips told truth
made truth sweet

I was hooked
instantly addicted
to the scent of
