Best Jin Poems

"If you're really in love, appearances aren't important. The best house is the one you build in each other's hearts."
Jung Yu jin

Autumn's alliterations amplified an acoustic of death.
Stillness of internal instrumentals silenced my acapella.
Words like wildflowers withered in winter wickedness,
without voice or verse I vanished behind a visible veil.

I was like a lifeless crystallised burnt sienna leaf,
as bitter breaths froze my brittle soul's ink.
Fatigued fingertips trembled from numbness -
without a purpose upon a speechless stage.

Afraid of crisp crying rain, which fell like a refrain.
my summer eyes turned amaurotic.
Life resembled a blank music sheet,
among an abandoned piano covered in iced cobwebs.
In solitude my music remained unwritten,
as I slept in a shivery silent slumber - tone deaf,
finding fading apricity in stolen daylight.

Until a silvery silhouette appeared. - sparkling.
Placed my hands into her warm glove-like hands,
wrapped me in an emphatic scarf-like embrace.
Her rose gold lips echoed in Orphic tones,
reviving my somnolent mute muse.
Blessed with vibrations from her vision,
senses awoke to rhythms of her heavenly harmony -
strumming an enchanting lover's lullaby.

Were you a gift from an orchestra of operatic angels,
sent to place hymns of hallelujah deep into my heart?

As her mystical mystery began to unfold.
In union our lyrics amplified into a rhapsody of romance.
Vibrant tunes from her intimate strings composed a
seraphic serenade, as we drifted into a dream world.

Today,
as we dance under emerald velvet northern lights,
snowfall covers our paths like an ivory blanket.
Soft flakes, like pearls glisten under tinsel moonlight,
as we leave poetic footprints behind in soothing snow -
a chorus of constellations glow to the tempo of our glorious sonata.

Poet In a Pool of Love

Poet in a Pool of Love
...... For You Ajinle

A
jin
le

When my yearning becomes a letter
Of love inside the dust of time
This lyric will deliver my affection to you
Ajinle the precious daughter of Adegboye
For love is always love
For two dreaming hearts
When their hearts never departs each other
When the cloud of love erupt their minds.

Ajinle
Love is not for coward hearts
Love is not for fragile minds
When I thought how I love you in silence
My heart beat faster
My spirit linger through your undiscovers planet
I found myself in a pool of love

Ajinle
When my song becomes a melody of joy
It is because of you!
My poems are not for ragged - minds
But I will read dirge if you departs my life
Or, is their anything to compare with the absence of love?

A
jin
le,
Our love and present-shadow is a destiny of tomorrow
Though we are way-farers

By,
Ajeyemi Wasiu .A.
Note: Ajinle 'Yoruba linage for female'
Adegboye: 'Royal name belong to monarch family'

Ze Hiena

Hienas don't taik cair of higeen;
we’r fond of karrion; we drink warm jin
wizaut tonik and we neva uze
ze mornin afta peels.
                                  “Beest's on ze looz!” -
you shaut in panik, raizin flags of truce
over your comfy gravez but we refewz
to uphold dead men rites. Oh, wat a feest
of flesh! Ze dead will neva rest in peast.

Premium Member With Such Longing

Inside a bamboo garden, where I followed a red-crowned crane
an exotic treasure of another sort held me spellbound
seated upon the lawn, a courtesan beauty there did reign.

Guilty, I stood beside a Lychee tree, expectations of arraign
but she smiled with cherry lips, in pale blue she was gowned
inside a bamboo garden, where I followed a red-crowned crane.

A delightful scene of refined Chinoiserie, created quite urbane
Lotus flowers, Jin of bonsai, beside the paragon were found
seated upon the lawn, a courtesan beauty there did reign

Exquisitely she sat, blush on her cheeks, fragile as porcelain.
I longed to caress her coifed hair, cascading and unbound
inside a bamboo garden, where I followed a red-crowned crane.

I feared death, for when she beckoned my heart was being slain.
I bowed before the Eastern goddess in whose beauty I had drowned
seated upon the lawn, a courtesan beauty there did reign.

Worthy of gracing a palace, she and the Chinoiserie shall remain
no longer will I find her graceful figure on the ground
inside a bamboo garden, where I followed a red-crowned crane
seated upon the lawn, a courtesan beauty there did reign.

Lost

Previews were many for a series called "Lost"
The cast was extensive, oh what a cost!

Production gave, to the viewers, a plight,
When Oceanic 815 began its fated flight

Something went wrong, the plane began to fall
It crashed on an island, a mystery to us all

The passenger list was many, few survived
Eventually, we lost, some who were alive

Injuries were treated, thanks to Dr. Jack
He soon became the leader of the pack

There were families, sisters and brothers
We, soon learned that there were others

Attraction was immediate, when Dr. Jack saw,
Kate, who was running from the law

Conman, Sawyer set his sight on Kate too,
Poor Kate, she just didn't know what to do

With the heart of a killer, Sayid had skill
He could be a friend or just as easily kill

Hurley would prove to be a loyal friend
He came with a quickness to defend

Desmond spent years resetting the clock,
Until he ran away and left it to John Locke

People soon learned that it was a mistake,
To trust Ben Linus, because he was a fake

The Smoke Monster was The Man in Black
Then he became Locke, when he came back

Jacob is gone, yet he still hangs around
Claire was missing, now she's been found

When beloved characters met their demise
It kept the show interesting, I realize

Hero Jack is my favorite, yet I shed a tear,
For Charlie, Jin, and Sun, who were also dear

So many questions, will we ever find out,
Exactly what this Island, is really about

The series is ending, scripts are being tossed,
I'll have to watch repeats, or I will be lost!

O, backpack with your books and pencils and things,
You weigh a ton, but you are my wings.
You carry my stuff wherever I go
But sometimes I wish
That you could stay home.
You are the hump on my back,
Like a camel in the desert.
In reality you are my treasure.
You carry my dreams to the ocean of knowledge.
You’re my path to success,
My key to college.
You used to be shiny and new
but
now you are heavy and dirty too.
With duct tape and staples to keep you together
You are full of promises and hope
And I’ll keep you forever.

Until Horizons Find the Rain

Winds of change
Carry tears of scarecrow away
Where ravens sit
Sins upon a straw man jin

Applause
Withered corn it does
Tattered flags beneath a desolate sky
Months drudge, but never cry

Thus, the Elderberry blossoms regardless
Muses to the ears of sadness
Till plagues of Magpie pluck its eyes
And all are desperate further cries

From Rockwell farmhouse dreams
Aging timber creaks, struggling just to dustbowl breathe
Underground sleeping shadow clouds dormant
Consciousness dried up, offers copper leaves

Rising sun thrusting triumphant as do emerald weeds
Macbeth lends death comforting fields of grains
And what can, crows to fleas migrate east
Along trodden roads great escape, till horizons find the rains

London 2012 Worldwide poets still needed for Festival event
More than 20 writers are still needed for an event to include a poet from every nation competing in the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics.

Ha, ha, this Laureate is an interesting candidate:
Writers already confirmed include Jang Jin Seong - former court poet to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il.

GREAT LEADER

I praise you with my quill
Jong can do no wrong
Because he pays my bill : )

Ci-Jin and the Starry Sky

Let the moment live for longer in our mind,
do not let it go
Keep on sitting close to me
Look at the stars
The Ci-jin island is so peaceful
Wonderful night view from the lighthouse
Just stop your mind for a moment
Feel the silence of the night
Feel its deep secret
Refresh your mind with the sounds of waves
Let all the stress wash away
Look at the lights far in the sea
They look stars on the water
Listen to the outcry of ocean
When it hits the concrete blocks
Hear the pain of pullback of waves
At their return of the sands, pebbles
Bashful slow step write the eternal notes of sadness
In a moment the shore sense the roar again
Roar and slow pullback, and then roar again,
Live this moment in ourselves
We are trapped in the prison of time
These few moments are free
Please do not insist to leave today
Do not let the moment go away
What an innocent night it is
Who knows what will happen tomorrow
Live the life little longer

Come Fall In Love

My love finds a way to happiness
Lost my heart on the streets of Kaohsiung
Someone found my heart
She fed him, cared for him and save him always
Something attracting me towards those streets again
I found my heart sitting on the wooden table somewhere in Shoushan
It is raining
Some water from the sky and some from the lost heart
You will forget appetite
Try to make a place in someone’s heart.
You will love all forms of pain
Try to fall in love with someone
Your world of imagination is vast
Try to find your world in my hug.
Just try looking into my eyes…see!
I will build your path with my smiles
You are looking at me, but still I am not in your eyes
My dear friend! This emptiness is hard to stand
This is not right!
You are in my eyes all night; sleep dares to close my eyes
The one you prayed from your heart
Look carefully am I that one?
You will fall in love with the same passion
Open your heart and see
Were there enough chances for me!
You will forget the passion
Try to spend an evening with me in Qi-jin Island!
Wait on the street of love and see
I am removing the stones from your path
Should I listen to the heart or follow love
This is not the passion love deserve
You will forget love,
Just try to fall in love with someone.

Premium Member Breaking the Innocence

Teasing with naughty whispers and wet is his jean
naïve and closed he’s definitely a virgin
her dance moves hit his head like jin
same game always, his reaction never starts aging
between a good boy and a bad guy is a lean margin
he’s shy, yet the temptation is urging
it’s just a game to test the might of his gene
the mind says no but eyes never stop bulging
initially a joke which now kicks starts the engine
fast events pass making her continuously scream Eugene!

Jin Again

Your all that's on my mind,
I need you,
til my heart turns blue.
Oh Jin it's true, I love you.
I've messed up, I'm forever love struck.
Just needing you by my side.
Oh how I hope.
And on those words I will choke.
Having left you, I'm empty,
let me come back to you my world.
My Jin.
