~Life Support~

Welcome New Poet To Poetry Soup,
I offer you a warm smile, in hopes you come back another day.
From the moment I spot your name on the new poet list,
I roll out the welcome mat, in hopes you will stay
I am not afraid of you, I will approach you to say hello
I will Annoy you until you stop by and say "YELL-OW!"
Please have patience, when my ink has no flame
Don't be intimidated by The Poet Destroyer's name,
I'm sweet looking like a lollipop and fun like a kitten
"Warning!" Don't get too close or you'll be smitten,
You can choose to adore or instigate petitions of envy
When it comes to PD
Even then I am a friendly poet, protected by God's loving levee

It's time to introduce myself, call me Linda or PD
Unless, you're in constant warfare for the dominance of poetry
Then by all means, express yourself retard-ly
Verbalize my name, in any which way you like
Call me The Poet Destroyer, when tapping the mic
All though many here know I'm more of a Poet Supporter
A comment crusader, a poetic hoarder
I have no shame in my game,
I give, I love, I treat everyone the same

Unwind, Enjoy all the Xoolness coming to your direction
Inspiration, Contest, Friendly Poets, Poems, and Dedications
I am not a mentor, I'm not a preacher advocating the perfect poem
I am me, original as can be, in time you will seek out my troupe
Reminiscing, over the time I was your first,
Regale with loving respect, don't judge my hunger and poetic thirst
To all new poets I promise, I'll be faithful and follow you like a star
Unless, you forget to put gas while side showing in my crystalline car

Don't worry, New Poetic Poe, I got your back
Taunting you with a copy paste smack
Call it a "--Statement--" call it what you want
I call it, Love From PD, enjoying the community
With a simple hello, and peace out spree
CONGRATULATIONS, to all who made it through the years
Ain't nobody here worth more than you and your poetry
Take this time, and introduce yourself my new friend
Remember New Poet:
If it weren't for you, this place would be 2005 all over again

Soliloquy of a Puppetmaster 2020

Now is the summer of our discontent
Made glorious opportunity for change
And all the clouds that lower on our land
In the bosom of the media rearranged

While I who have no mind for fair concord
Determine to conspire and prove the fiend
And hate the idle pleasures life affords
Ensure conflict is harvested and gleaned

Plots have I laid, inductions dangerous,
To instigate a man against a brother
Black history I will exploit to thrust
In deadly hate one race upon the other

Soft hearted folks I will manipulate
And play upon their heartstrings for my schemes
Their sympathy emotions shall dictate
Virtue signalling conformant to woke memes

To activate my hidden plan I’ll move
Self righteous useful pawns - give delegation
With peaceful protests (who could not approve?)
Though they shall lead to ruinous conflagration

The people will rise, call for a redeemer
When old regime has made a full contrition
To save the nation, be a chaos healer
I’ll, with reluctance, undertake the mission

Then my control shall be with iron fist
Surveillance of the people I’ll refine
And cohorts of young zealots I’ll enlist
The name: ‘Beloved Leader’ shall be mine

Peaks and (valleys) of an AA
Poem may be read Whole or Peaks only and (valleys) only

As my fingers trace your silhouette mind
(Yesterday showers fell upon a gentle face)
And the strength returns straight from your love’s heart
(Today they enter the world of a different pace,)
Those your shoulders that held me safe I find
(When one you take on a roller coaster ride)
No more to dwell in life’s shadowy part
(On to heaven then deep in despair nowhere to hide.)
Everyday a stepping stone across strife
(As darkness descends upon each avenue)
Each tender touch and words spoken ring out
(Eyes adjust as guiding lamps of one’s sinew,)
Eyes that see the same yet different life
(Before the mind searches vigorously for reasons)
Your love grows in me in you there’s no doubt
(And veils of your face I see like the changing seasons.)

To take the wrong road the right path a choice
(Some days one of down hearted total dejection)
Alone there was only one direction
(Some days an offer of heavens welcoming crutch)
When in dispute one opinion one voice
(Some days with in the abyss I fall into reflection)
You did instigate life’s resurrection
(Some days from out of the darkness your hand I touch.)

In pursuit of those the headiest days
Found an alternative with wondrous ways.

Actions of Love

"Actions of Love"
by: Eric L. Boddie

What if I were to instigate your heart to join with my own
Would you make me the place you call home

If I challenge your body to a duel of pleasure
Would you be willing to expose your treasure

If I dare your Soul to become my mate
Would you define me as your fate

If I urge your eyes to see my truth
Would you help me build Love under just one roof

If I influence your hands to want to touch my frame
Would you declare yourself as only my personal toy without shame

If I bet your tongue that it can't out wrestle mine in any timing
Would you just accept it or would you die trying

If I inflict you with Love That's Truly Heavenly
Would you take your rightful place in Eric's Destiny....

Bravo

Bravo!
     His messages are always elaborative.
We converse as if we know each other well.
He is a famous poet on the Soup.
He writes his verses with depth.

Bravo, Richard Lamoureux you are one of the best!
I like when you spread your wings to write a poetic text.

     His philosophy intrigues.
His words are high literacy.
Rick I will call him via commenting
but he is such a Ricky through inner strength.

Bravo, Richard Lamoureux for being the one I tribute!
I love when your libretti smiles uplifting my spirit and making me feel
     worthwhile.

He can be quite cynical.
My respond is to explain some more.
Richard is what I call him then.
I know he is talking to me as a friend.

Bravo, Richard Lamoureux!
This is a tribute to you.

I will close now.
I hope you frame this and hang it high.
Let the world know you shine.
Your motivational and inspiratory poetic voice is precious.

Bravo, Richard Lamoureux this tribute is to you!
Continue to instigate; this encourages another to write.

Twelve Rounds (With) Natethegreat

I challenged you, and you finally took the bait.
This was a battle that I had to instigate.
But, you only came when I gave you a mandate,
So now I will be happy to accommodate.
Now Burger King Mandelay is on my hotplate!
"YOUR" SELF-MADE throne...I will proceed to desecrate.
But, I would love to know what made your head inflate,
Because each one of your slams sounded so innate;
Not worth the effort that it takes to conjugate.
You would be better off trying to slam KUWAIT!
I am a master poet. You can not relate.
When I started this race, I left you at the gate.
The second best slam is what we must nominate,
And the other spots are what we must allocate.
I apologize for writing rhymes that frustrate.
Stop whining! Step up! And try to eliminate!
SHUT UP! So that you do not self-incriminate.
Males should not be JEALOUS; That is a FEMALE trait!
Baby boy...You need to go back and incubate.
Climb into the ground, so that you can germinate.
Then, much later, I will come back and cultivate.
When pest step to the best, I have to fumigate!
The day you beat me is the day hell frigerates!
Just give the jury a chance to deliberate!

In the dusting of the Springtime
Fate spawns a tale of passions need
To instigate with warming touch
The flowering of longing seed

Love’s tenderness adrift and pure
Awaft on every evening breeze
Sweet scented thoughts of yesterday
Soft whimsy’d memories to seize

Awakening a season’s lust
For life entices springtime’s wench
Bathe in my gentle falling rain
Our humid passions let us quench

In the dusting of a Springtime’s
Sweet scented thoughts of yesterday

Premium Member Ripples

What Ripples do you make? What Ripples do you spread?
Are they Ripples borne of Love or of hate instead?
The Ripples that we send, eventually converge
Into a sea, an ocean, where ultimately they merge.
There is a sea of Love and there is a sea of hate
And the Ripples that we send is which we propagate.

Elements of Love are truth, honesty, kindness, and compassion;
Forgiveness, understanding, with humility kept in fashion.
Elements of hatred are lies, deceit, spitefulness expressed;
Meanness, greed, revenge, with the ego kept caressed.
The Ripples that we make; the Ripples that we send
Speak for what we wish for to be the winning trend.

When we send out Love, we make an ocean full of waves,
An ocean full of Love and humanity, it saves.
When we send out hate, we make an angry, frothing sea,
That culminates into violence, the killings that we see.
If we are to change the current violence that is trending,
Then we have to change the type of Ripples we are sending.

When we send out Love, hope is never lost,
But when we send out hate, killing is the cost.
It's the innocent who suffer when hate we release;
Only Love can restore and bring about peace.
When hatred keeps spreading, it makes its way behind a gun
And when hate controls the trigger, expect killing to be done.

So, why do humans choose, allow hate to interfere,
When Love holds the key for peace to persevere?
Humans are intelligent beings or so, it's said to be.
Yet, humans kill humans, how intelligent are we?
The concept is so simple, so easy to comprehend,
Yet, humans can't deduce how we cause the trend
That when we promote and instigate hate
With Ripples that we send, violence we create!

Magical Realism

Beliefs are our compass, bringing to form
A calm, stable day or the eye of a storm
Choices are given each day in this life
To service the good or instigate strife
Oh, we're a mighty and powerful force
As the universe rises ... our ultimate source
We won't get away from this eminent sleuth
Who knows what we want; only, gives us the truth
Oh, what a magical, intricate day
But I'm tired, and honestly, don't want to play
So go on, conspire to give me my due
You'll find me today, on a walk, at the zoo

Thoughts of Myself - Section 1

Ayo, Once upon a time...
Their was a young brave renegade
That would love someone solely than detonate
Than pick up the pieces and try to renovate
Just so he can runaway, and escape just to celebrate
He'd instigate and penetrate in almost anyway
He had no friends, cause they'd die, and souls would levitate
Always showed more love than hate, because he was his own medicaid
Only musically meditated, not truly educated but solely dedicated
To leave this world devastated, and "awe" within his presence
Cause I'll verbally murder peasants and it's not so pleasant
When this is their death sentence, Leaving them jealous
When they go to hell, and I'm attending the heavens
But the thoughts of you snap me right back
To the love and adolescence trapped behind a time gap
It's like I took a nap to relax and pass these lonely facts
But I got passed it, and regained my own passion
Passing by my own patronized actions
Probably now just pacifying and laughing trying to imagine
Why I was so maddened, I'm like a wolf blowing down pigs cabins
I'm the captain shooting lyrical cannons trying to capture the captive
The caption to the story is "Aladdin's reconnection with his Jasmine"
But it's forever lost, cause life it's not magic
It's just a tragic damaged planet filled with only havoc
Happiness is riddled upon his own sadness

Please move on to section 2!

Premium Member Fantasy Dreams

Illusions are smoke and mirrors;
the sky's black, and yet, we see blue.
And like sheep, we're led by shearers;
whose reality blocks our view.

Flashing neon propositions;
young eyes with the night's city lights.
And the lambs rush to the slaughter,
unaware reality bites.

A taboo magic elixir;
drugs hold anxieties in check.
But once addicted, your body
morphs into a physical wreck.

Politicians promise you all;
yet provide substantially less.
And when caught in a blatant lie,
they blame each other for their mess.

Parks attract drunks and criminals;
who bully and instigate fights.
And cops harass homeless people;
denying them their basic rights.

We ponder possibilities;
when nothing is quite what it seems.
And hide in never-never land;
inside of our fantasy dreams.

Joyless Joseph

Wordless worries wander wearily working wayward,
Towards thoughts transgressing truth’s textured tide.
As always acknowledging agnosticism’s appeal,
    Essence easily evaporates, exeunt Emile.
Very virtuous violent vowels vociferously validate,
    Sanctimonious sessions some subtly sacrosanct.
Is it in incrementally immense ingenious imaginations,
Or ontology’s omniscience overcoming oceanic oratory?
Roughly rallying rage’s recessive righteousness,
Quickly quartered queens quietly quiver qualities quoi.
Under unctuous undeniably Umbrian utterances,
An astute and acute awareness as always arose.
Placing plausibly proverbial prevaricating predications,
Many morose morally myopic manly mighty men,
Eulogize everlasting ephemerally entertaining evocations.
    Insinuating incredible implications, insomnia initiates,
Notably nullifying notoriously negligible nihilistic necessities.
Lies lay low, linking lofty linguistic lessons like laws,
Of optional opportunities oscillating on occult overtures
Until underlying unctions unify ubiquitous unknowns.
Joyless Joseph’s joyful Joy just jumped, just jumped!
Killing killjoy knuckle kosher korma koranic krap.
And announce another anonymous anodyne appointment?
(Empiricism’s emphatic emission, enter erotic Eloise).
Having Heidegger helps, hope’s homunculi hunting human.
Get gone ginger guesses, go grope Ginger’s grapes!
Immaculately ironic inquisitions instigate immediate impositions.
Once onto opaque ominous orbs, obey Oracles open orders.
Framing funny fractions, flaming far flung frivolous fictions,
Death defies dollar damnations, deliciously done devaluations.
Usually uncle umpire understands useful underlying ululations,
Also affirming apples avuncular altruistic assumptions.
Creeds crave caves, charms calm cause, come conquerors,
Be belligerently bad, betray birth’s beginning, balance budgets.
Entreating entirely empty, emphatically elusive, existential entelechy,
Is, importantly, incommensurably idiotic, inexplicably impractical indeed.

Test

Talents offspring, not ingress
nor decimate of soul's transgress
the effigy of heart's duress
is "silence" ~ without word's address!

So spreading, lose my worth's suggest?
Err not, the motive is repress,
my ear not beckoning regress
but waiting, listening, no recess!

The matters implementing stress
must not be heard, but felt, impress
if not the message, why am blest
to so maneuver crowd's ingest!

Disciples speaking, not conquest
the role of prophets so confess

the saving, instigate ~ no less~

So listening, with the heart's express
fields action, stemming from . . . . the test!
