Infidelity

Whispers in a darkened room
Two bodies locked in passions dance
Lust and longing both consume
Exploring hands enhance

Sacred vows lie on the floor
Discarded with their clothes
Craving love, they search for more
Trust lost in the throes

Sated bodies, guilty hearts
Have failed to fill the void
Did they really just make love
Or was it just destroyed

It seems old Marty had been very bad
Of course it made the Mrs. quite mad
So she packed her bag
He waved the white flag
The rock she’s wearing the biggest they had..

Infidelity

A. W. Nutter

A familiar door opens quietly
The living room still and vacant
Darkness engulfing sin completely
Shattered heart beating so rampant

Remaining statuesque, hatred building
Wedding vows casually tossed aside
Murderous thoughts I begin caressing
Life’s defining moment has arrived

The children's beds tidily made
Their fragrance lingering in the air
Haunting echoes, bedtime serenade
Memories spoiled by mothers affair

Unable to hold emotions in check
The knife flashes, finding its mark
Severing the artery in her lovers neck
Plunging it through the traitors heart

Disappearing silently into the night
Weapon and soiled clothing destroyed
Entering my home through a trap door
Home defense system remains deployed

Children unaware they are motherless
As I carefully lay down by their side
Alarms intact, kids never left defenseless
Providing their father, an airtight alibi

Infidelity - Naani Poem

Infidelity (Naani Form)

When Love, in mercurial flight forsakes
The heart that it once cherished
Tears that flow leave
Vows and rings...tarnished.

Premium Member Wonderland V: The Chef's Tale

Morning

The Innkeeper checked his watch once again
Hoping the chef's feelings weren't hurt.
The last time they were, he arrived two hours late
And then left, serving just his dessert.

Sadly the chef, on this day of all days
Turned up filthy, flies open and drunk.
A black cat meowed as the chef stumbled in;
He was unkempt and cursing and stunk.

The Innkeeper's head sank deep in his hands
As he needed his chef to be right.
The Tabard was busy and fully booked up
And was hosting a meeting that night.

Noon

To make matters worse, the chef's wife appeared
It was NOT what was needed at all.
She grabbed at chef's hair and kicked open his shin
And threw dishes and plates at the wall.

The Innkeeper tried to separate both
As utensils flew wild through the air
Then chef lost his balance taking with him a shelf
And pepper dispersed everywhere.

The chef lay there slumped and silent and still
He was bloodied and bruised on the floor.
His wife and the Innkeeper looked at each other
As chef sneezed and then let out a snore.

Night

With her husband in clinic the chef's wife revealed
The reason as to why he was mad:
 - "Earlier that day he had finally found out
He was not my child's natural dad.

He took all of my money and spent it on drink
And the police were then sadly involved.
He falsely accused me of harming my son
And that issue has not been resolved."

Later That Night

Nobody ate at The Tabard for nights
But the Innkeeper learnt something instead:
 - "..So I am your lover AND the father as well"
He said smiling to chef's wife in bed.

A Dream And Infidelity

His eyes inundated with tears implore her
                           kind reconsideration
Blunders turned her expectations to chaos
                           optimism is lost not found
Haste to judgement had painted a portrait
of a dark scene of epic proportion
Wishes to endlessly live, her love merging
                           with his...a dream banished underground.

Love is mere illusion to those who deny its
                           power and authenticity
When unjustly treated it strikes like an asp
                           guarding its hallowed mound
Time runs out while he struggled to invoke
desire and beg for undeserved mercy
Hopelessness held two broken hearts apart
buried in the abyss...with wounds profound.

A Cheater Into the Bottle

Cheater into the bottle,
His wife loved him so much ,
One day she woke up and found his husband
into the bottle near the main door.

She was so confused ,

She could not  bottle up  that terrible situation .
She took the bottle to the wizard ,
She was told that her husband  had an affair with the wife of a big witch and he ended up bewitching him.

So confused,

She was told to bring a living lion with a bottle of  wine to be helped out.
That was her  hard EXAM,
She went to a medium with the same  bottle, and she was told to bring the head of an albino and the  bottle of wisky.

Very confused,

She went to a prophet with her husband  in  bottle,
she was told to bring some olive oil in the bottle.
The prophet prayed , the bottle broke ,the cheater came back and the big witch appear with the bottle filling blood.
Prophet continue praying in the name of Christ Jesus,
the big witch collapsed and died.

Cheater confessed,

," forgive me my wife , I will not cheat again."
It was time for her to caugh out what she bottled for many years.
" at least  you  received what you were looking for many years behind married women.
The payment for your mistakes.
What next , may be they will put you into the  calabash
 for some days again.
Cheating is a small world. "

Confessing again,

" forgive me , I won't cheat again my wife.
Devil lied to me."
He was forgiven  and they continue to live in peace.

Message: Cheating is so dangerous,
As some men and women lost their lives in cheating.

I was your bride, stood by your side - now you have lied
I said before; lies I abhor… you told me four
Words get heated, you’d cheated , I feel defeated
Your mum is sad and tells your dad, I’m boiling mad!
That blonde masseur - you’d slept with her, my minds a blur
I see red, you’d defiled our bed … your ego fed
You low life lout I scream and shout - I throw you out
I’ve packed your bag … go to that hag - soon tongues will wag
You’ve got no dough a crushing blow … she says just go!
A home you lack, can you come back - sling your hook Jack!

Infidelity

Why won’t this feeling fade
My heart beat’s slowing pace
They say slow and steady wins the race
But here I am in second place

My minds running everywhere
This just isn’t fair
So much for being there
And what I hoped we could share

Feelings thrown around
Careless moments bring me down
You got my emotions all unwound
Thought my heart was safe and sound

All I wanted was you
I thought you wanted me too
Do you understand what I’m even going through
Looks like hello heartache round two

Why did you tried to hide it
It’s wrong, no use in trying to right it
All along I thought you were trying to fight it
Never knew these feelings were unrequited

You tore me down broke my spirit
I listened but almost refused to hear it
I offered my heart, to volunteer it
But now my thoughts are just to fear it

Infidelity

When such lies are told
trust flies out of the window,
   then love can turn cold
and life is lived in shadow
     with lonely hearts left hollow.

Her Infidelity

Something's wrong it's been this way for far to long she act's like nothing's wrong
same old sad song I love her so much you can understand why it hurts when
she carries on like such. I look in her eyes and see no remorse this pain i feel is
taking it's course, who is this other man who's taking my dear wife my very way of
life oh god did she even put up a fight was i not enough i know sometimes things
get tough.

To get personal it's been so long since we had an intimate moment and when
we do it's a horrible dealing it's like to my touch she has no feeling. For all these
years and to now know that my worst fears have come true, i must confront her i
want to hear her say it gosh this agony will not go away.

A cold winter night she comes home late her excuse a long dinner date, there i
set glass of wine in hand it's easier to take bad news a bit under the influence. I
stare a hole right through her the kind that bares your soul i speak "So another
long night'. She replies " As always', should i start by saying for months i
smelled him on her clothes oh that bastard i have loath.

I guess I'll come out and say it no need to beat the bush, I say to her "My love did
you really think in me you could make a fool of i know you've been lying and
cheating and the time you been spending in the arms of some other man'. Time
to stop the game how could you do you have no shame after all this time you
must be one cold hearted dame'.

She looks at me expression so very empty then she speaks, " So you found me
out i have no explanation just surprised really in this i get a rise, funny isn't it your
love i will never miss. Dead our marriage has been if you want to know her name
is Gwen'.

                                                                                                       Cole Hodson

Escaping Infidelity

The memories won’t let you forgive,
the crimes passion that I did.
Despite the brave face that you put on,
I know the trust within will never see a new dawn.
Laying next to me with a watchful eye,
you say ‘okay’ but know the moment will never die.
Holding on more so because of loneliness rather than belief.
the winding times force our oak tree to shed weeping leaves.

Your anxiety is ripe in conviction,
knowing the truth was born from intuition.
Basing your feelings on past emotion,
I try to fight the tide to avoid our relationship eroding.
Only time will tell whether we will survive this,
and open our hearts to once again embrace bliss.
Reminiscing upon the mistake as something fleeting,
so our love can reconnect from an act of cheating.

In Fire

How would it feel if you've to breath your last in fire?
Everything your heart loves, be cast; aghast! in fire!

Living can't see afterlife which weakens beliefs:
You'll decompose to soil or God will cast in fire?

I never thought of having your corpse in my arms;
Your death in my life is a massive blast in fire!

All combustibles burn with heat and ashes, but
Qualities are different which create contrast in fire

We're participants of a strange competition
Diving in firepool to see who'll outlast in fire?

Everyone, honestly, told me about one's life
Second half will pass on flames, first half's past in fire!
