A Dream and Infidelity

A Dream And Infidelity His eyes inundated with tears implore her kind reconsideration Blunders turned her expectations to chaos optimism is lost not found Haste to judgement had painted a portrait of a dark scene of epic proportion Wishes to endlessly live, her love merging with his...a dream banished underground. Love is mere illusion to those who deny its power and authenticity When unjustly treated it strikes like an asp guarding its hallowed mound Time runs out while he struggled to invoke desire and beg for undeserved mercy Hopelessness held two broken hearts apart buried in the abyss...with wounds profound. Love is mere illusion to those who deny its power and authenticity. Great words, the fulcrum of your poem. And I liked the emotions (even if at times sad).

When infidelity creeps into marriage or any man woman relationship, its foundation gets bitterly shaken and its hinges, loose. Love when unjustly treated can strike like an asp.... so true ! Your poems are power packed and full of emotional intensity... Ansemo!

You're right Valsa, and the most difficult of all, is to rejuvenate two hearts who have already drifted far apart. Thanks for your insight, as always!...ab

Enough to make a grown man cry, Anselmo. Moving poesy here, plumbing the depths of emotion. Huzzah! ~ Gershon

Thanks, Gershon. We're both lucky to have not experienced such depth of despair...ab
