F eeling enraptured, Autumn dances in the wind, then undresses.
A s bright robes fall to the ground, her passion paints the twilight skies.
L ike a nymph, she beckons, tossing her fiery auburn tresses.
L ongingly she sighs - September’s bliss lingering in her eyes.

I ndian summer days come; then they go.
N ights though chill, embrace her in indigo.

L ater, in November, her sweetness wanes.
O ctober cannot stay forever loving her.
V acantly she gazes through freezing rains.
E ndearments whispered - cease - when Fall loses ardor.

Premium Member When a Poet Falls In Love

If you fall in love with a poet,
he will love you with all his soul.
His ink will be his sword of affection,
his pen your shield of admiration,
your life his poems of devotion -
as your heart dances to his musings.

His words will illustrate the essence of true yearning,
a bond serenading the secret songs in your heart.

Upon the awakening of the mighty golden orb,
like merging colorful horizon hues - without touch,
his tender words will soften your throbbing skin.

He'll make your eyes glow like a million fireflies,
bringing out that secret smile you always hide.
When he holds your hand, you'll not want to let go.

In the realms of pleasure and romance,
where enigmatic enchantment reigns supreme,
you will forget yourself, losing the value of time.
Within the aroma of his unique fragrance,
you'll crave to kiss his every radiating word.

His lyrics will take your darkness,
illuminating life with bright lights.

Upon the sight of twilight,
as you lay gazing at the sky.
You will never see the moon in the same way,
as how it's reflected through his eyes -
there will be no secret to the reality of stars.

A union,
creating legendary scriptures,
surviving beyond the hands of time.

"How to tame the madness"

As I sit here, with intense dirty desire,
Tonight I think of you (the moon and stars)
To you, I send a redolent saimiri kiss
Read and breathe between fine lewd lines
Perfumed by the colors of the Enticing Equinox
Sensually, I create sweet serendipity

Inviting playful lips
Erotic wind and wild wanderlust
Streams like a river through time
I propose a good potion of wet lube
Take me to the furtive imagination of your soul
Embrace the tan and texture tonight
Touch the summer ripples riding high
Promiscuous and delicate, I advocate lust
A quilt meant for deep and trenchant love
I shut my eyes to feel an Orphic flora floor
Stimulating a hot, sultry siren kettle
On this night the tingle of passion penetrates
A hypnotic talisman that lets me, please
Inviting ----------- You

In Love, Our Romance Flows In Kissing Streams,
Poets Tribute Series, fourth poet, Lord Byron

Claim I, thy wondrous heart into sweet dreams,
And in that soft glowing realm we slow dance;
In Love, our romance flows in kissing streams,
As Cupid's well-shot arrows took no chance.
From this teeming earth we dwell in pleasures,
While life lays golden bounty at our feet;
We wake to dawn's glory- its great treasures,
Finding welcome cheer in all that we meet.
Sky awards us its most heavenly blues,
Nature cries out its joy to our pairing,
Flowers parade forth their brightest of hues,
Our faithful Love is in this, our Sharing.

In our dreams we are eternally slow-dancing.
In our bedroom, eternally true-romancing.

We are bound as kind souls forever true,
As a bird pair, that in blue heavens soars;
You touched my hand and then deep Love I knew,
Triumphs beyond paradise's hidden shores.
This our great blessing, a gift preordained,
Its gleaming morns, as bright as shining dew,
May we this true bliss forever retain
Beauty, as our sweet longings we renew.
Come to me my Love- let thy hand seek mine
Allow yet again, lips that beg thy touch,
For within thy glow, I too can soft shine,
Souls at peace, cherishing life very much.

In our dreams we are eternally slow-dancing.
In our bedroom, eternally true-romancing.

Premium Member Guess I'M Still In Love With You

I came across my first love
You were always in my arms
Swore we’d never be apart
But I let you go

Now we are reunited
My heart just beats like a drum
I can’t take my eyes off you ...
My first teddy bear

I'M Still Hopelessly In Love With You

Far
So far away
Whenever I need you
You’re not around

I think of you
Dreaming we would find a way
To get back together again
And that you would stay

I love
Everything about you, if you didn’t know
I love the way you hold me close
I love the way you whisper to my ear

There’s nothing I won’t say or do
To have you, back into my arms
Loving me the way
The way only you can do

I love
Love to dance with you
I love to feel
Your heart beat next to mine

As we move across the floor
The music takes us away
And we’re hopelessly in love

The way I pray we'd stay

If you were only here
but you're so far away
I'm still hopelessly, in love with you

Don'T Fall In Love With a Poet

We are the generation
of discontinued imagination.
With our twisting words
you’ll drink in
desperately.
Our beautiful stories
spun from the nothingness.
Shadows of hope
glimmering in the distance.
Farfetched aspirations
that will never be reached.

We are the hopeless romantics
you all wish you could be.
We are amazing with words
yet terrible with people.
We know what to say
and when
without missing a beat.
We are dreamers
and wishful thinkers
and procrastinators beyond belief.

We have hope
for things you
cannot fathom achieving.
We are desperate
for approval
yet hard to convince.
Destined for greatness
that will probably be missed
We are the socially anxious,
hopeful,
and descriptive
pessimists.
We are the ones
you wish you could be.

We are heartbreakers
because we are lost.
We are lonely
but happy.
So trust me when I say:
don’t fall in love
with a poet,
unless you are ready
to become one.

Still In Love

Still in love,
with his eyes, he asks
(as the moon asks the earth)
for a dance, spinning
to music only we can hear.
Two become one in song,
as in the infancy of marriage -
newlyweds who danced, all for love.

With his eyes, he asks
(as the river asks the grass)
for a hand to hold, swaying
side-by-side over ages
of profuse weeds thick with lace,
and the sunflowers nearby droop
late in season, heavy with seed.
Before first snow, it is time
to teach our children to dance.
Love, we have learned, will carry on.

Still in love,
with my heart, I reply
(as the cherry blossoms answer the wind)
in a twirl of my floral skirt, growing
young again with a twinkle of hazel
skies shone bright in my eyes
and in a familiar smile.
He feels my warmth without seeing my face,
our union completed without words.

And so, we dance
from wedding day kiss and
one day, into bliss of heavenly light
(as the universe dances, eternally).
I write him a poem to thank him
for creating music with his love,
only our feet recognize.
Still joined in life, souls flow
through green, through our limbs,
down into our roots -
a dance to last through sun and storm,
feet in time forevermore,
all because he asked,
and still, I love him.

Premium Member Falling In Love - Lay

Let eyes meet, let them spark a fire
Let rhythms sing to music of lyre

Let heartbeats of joy write our song
In moods of kisses yearned for long

Let blushing cheeks welcome romance
Enchanting heart's seductive dance

Let winds of love ignite our flame
As night, ecstatic, croons your name

There Is No Fear In Love

When I first realized that I loved you
I became afraid, for I felt exposed,
surrounded by the broken-down fences
I had painstakingly built as protection
for my fragile emotions and great fears
against a cold and indifferent world.

Suddenly, without warning, my safe world
was changed as I gave free entry to you
into my heart, and in spite of my fears,
I willingly my complete being exposed -
seeking the nestling warmth and protection
and the safety of love's strong fences.

I found that love was not caged, and fences
were not needed to live in its blissful world,
where affection was its own protection
and the sharing of life's journey with you
could allow unknown joys to be exposed
and assurances could replace past fears.

As our love grew and flowered, and past fears
were eroded with abandoned fences
I became strong, despite being exposed
to the changes of an evolving world.
I felt secure and contented with you -
In your loving care I found protection.

And through the years, love's certain protection
has shielded us against life's storms and fears
And as I have walked at the side of you
I found a paradise, without fences,
where we have built our own beautiful world,
filled with love, and our joy could be exposed.

Now we have grown old and by age exposed
our bodies frail, each limb needs protection.
As we move slowly in a twilight world
and confront diverse and alarming fears
I seek strength in my memory's fences
recalling joyous times and days with you.

A soul exposed to true love knows no fears.
The protection of your love's strong fences
secure my world - I will always love you.

Premium Member Forever Entwined In Love

The first time, I saw my love it was a moment in time,
      It was a spiritual experience and I was swept away;
I abandoned myself to this perfect head-spinning love,
Obsessive musings, like an addict with mood swings.

It was more than his physical attractiveness for me,
      I was lost in a dream of a forever, ever beautiful love;
Falling for him was like falling into a crystal clear stream,
I dreamed again and again of our precious moments.

I was an emotional wreck, who could not sleep or even eat,
      My heart beat faster when he was even just talking;
When we were apart, I was full of longing and anxiety,
Falling in love is very bizarre, it creeps up magically.

Soon our lifes were entwined and we were deeply bonded,
      Coated with desire, respect and a genuine courtship;
I let go of expectations and overlooked all his negative,
He was my lover, my friend and my companion always.

We never crowded each other, we both had an outside life,
      With our own interests and friends, our eyes never roamed;
Sadly, we buried a child on our journey and that made us stronger,
He took this weeping girl that was me and I was healed.

Then, the unimaginable happened, my love was taken away,
      Another path was written for him and I was left far behind;
I only find my love down a winding path in a place of tears,
His name engraved in cold stone for all of eternity.

But, my love for him endures and will never, ever dissipate,
      Our bond is endless, and I know he waits beyond the clouds;
It is a love that even death cannot destroy, and it will go on and on,
And in my dreams, he lives still, quiet, gentle and strong.

Falling In Love

Ever been infatuated
You just can't explain it
Words won't do
You'll never contain it
And you know what it leads to
Oh my, oooh oooh
I'm falling in love

Crazy excited
I think I'm floating on air
Take time to smell the roses
Love's fragrance everywhere
Spring in my step
Girl, this is cloud nine
Always thinking about you
Can't wait till you're mine

Ever been infatuated
You just can't explain it
Words won't do
You'll never contain it
And you know what it leads to
Oh my, oooh oooh
I'm falling in love

She's my future
Her name makes me smile
Right now she doesn't notice
But she will after awhile
Yeah, soon head over hills
She'll have a bad case for me
My friends say they don't see it
But true love is meant for me

Ever been infatuated
You just can't explain it
Words won't do
You'll never contain it
And you know what it leads to
Oh my, oooh oooh
I'm falling in love

I'm falling in love
It's crazy
I'm falling in love
Oh baby
I'm in love with you

~Lyric Man

Note: I almost titled this song "Infatuated", it's an upbeat pop lyric about a guy who is completely smitten with a girl (who doesn't even know the guy exist). This guy is so "crazy in love" that it doesn't even matter, not yet anyway. I hope you enjoy this fun song about the joy of infatuation.

O’ divine stars, sprinkling
ruby wine ribbons
upon idyllic fields,
where fireflies lit the night skies~
with feathers of nirvana,
dancing above weeping
waves of twirling time.
Listen to the perfumed
poem of my soul,
written from lilac pink liquid ink,
emanating the nostalgic
fragrance of a withered rose~
from Aphrodite's castle
of myrtle magic,
where longing and love float
in flavors of sweet blossoms
across pastel pages
of immortal romance.

O’ beloved, I hide these
amethyst affections,
behind the mist
of unspoken words,
in the warmth of morning dew,
while the bonfire in my heart
rises above to caress
diamond dreams
across your daffodil dawn,
for I love you still
and I loved you then…

I am drowning in my darkness,
whistling your name
into the wilderness,
wondering, am I in this alone?
Do you feel the same?
I’ve woven your
initials across
magnolia meadows,
while nightingales rest
on breathless branches,
crooning aching lyrics
I weave in sunflower silence.

Now the sunrise we shared
sails in sketched solitude,
as the pale shadow of midnight
is for poets pining to be heard;
seen beyond lying lies of fortune,
and suppressed melodies
of onyx tears,
while I question the melted moonlight,
in rhyme-less prose…
Have you forgotten our songs?
Am I the one to take
the blame for unwritten wrongs?
Would I see you again
beneath honeyed horizons?

Here, in the labyrinth of loneliness,
I search for a tune to lure you back,
like flowers that await
the return of butterflies.
I close my eyes for a glimpse
of your silvery silhouette,
’cause I’m still in love with you,
your voice, your touch,
and all that you are…

A Study in Love

Her expressions were delicious, her aroma intoxicating,
Her presence was lovely, and her conversation intriguing.
I was at a loss for words as we engaged in study, together,
Of the arts, which separates human beings from the animals,
But it didn’t feel like working to me; it felt flirtatious.
And when the spark from her eye leaped into my heart,
I was emboldened to ask her, shyly,
“Do you believe in love at first sight?”
And without hesitation, she answered, “Of course!”
(As she gently placed her hand on mine, the touch, soft and warm.)
Naturally, I was taken aback by her quick response
And gazed into her face, contemplating whether to kiss her or not.
The moment seemed real, the timing perfect, and she was willing,
But the fool in me, out of desperation, looked for an excuse,
Afraid to show my innermost feelings due to my upbringing,
Pulled away, pretending to resume our interaction in education.
But my mind blossomed in that encounter!
