Life is a beautiful liar,
where hope is a
graveyard of caterpillars.
Death is an ugly truth,
where virgin butterflies
flutter immortally.

Love is the only true guide.

Oh my beloved,
when you hid behind
a veil of metaphors,
I wrote your name in the sand,
with simple words,
watched as the tide
carried each letter to your shore,
so you could build a
sandcastle for my homeless heart.
Then you appeared,
enchanting and exotic,
like the scent of a summer night
under clear blue skies.

I recall the day we met,
confused and bemused.
You used to tell me there
was no such thing as forever,
until your words bled
like a mistress of poetry.

My hands were tired from
scribbling meaningless musings,
until I fell in love with a poet -
you gave them a purpose.

My muse, who once punished me
with tormenting silence,
now beat against my heart to
justify the majesty of your vision -
ink like waterfalls began to flow
upon rivers of romantic verses.

As the world sleeps tonight,
I'm tired from
watching airplanes take off,
as satanic seas keep us apart.
My heart reminds me of
denied treasure,
but my soul believes
it will kiss such riches soon.

As we create our own cocoon,
where devotion flourishes
into an eternal union.

"Cruel birds—ravens—but wise. And creatures should be loved for their wisdom if they cannot be loved for kindness."
- Hannah Kent

My lover's demons are like ravenous ravens.
Her love is a hand grenade triggering exploding emotions,
massacring words into silent suppression
but beyond the threshold of her eyes,
there's a scarlet love silhouette,
hoping upon hope for expression,
to reset her reality -  to express her freedom of spirit.

I ask the one who feels the tremors of my heart,
why are you afraid of happiness?

We were not made to be broken,
yet we fracture a little everyday.
Although you are fragile like a paper plane,
the world with you and me can soar
against turbulence in the world's playground.

In darkness I'll be your harbinger of crescent moons,
as my heart is a complex phenomenon,
yearning to be special in your ordinary sighs.
I hunger for you to leave me breathless,
as internal invisible wounds don't heal,
when we are lost in an ocean of souls,
but empathy has an evergreen effervescence,
so I'll radiate light into your wilted moonflower eyes,
watching them glow like dancing streetlights.

In the angst of absence and abandonment,
I've lost all desire to bleed,
searching for harmony in music's salvation,
but it only brings broken strings,
as I'm sleeping to the rhythm of heartache.

My muse serenades in melancholic melodies,
composing a confusing chaos concerto,
searching for pamphlets of medleys
with symphonies of pleasure.

What are we,
but poetic victims of circumstances,
versifying verses which unravel my mysteries.
Maybe in a peaceful tomorrow,
I'll write again,
but today,
I'll bathe in raindrops of hope,
illuminating in a rainbow of reveries.

I believe in magic when I envision your cathartic haze.
I know you are obsessed with forever,
but time silently escapes whilst we are apart.
If not in this temporary existence,
then in the afterlife, meet me in heaven,
where we can rise with eternal ethereal sunrises,
because your celestial eyes betray your mortal guise.

I could never write a poem as perfect as you.
With or without me,
we'll be immortally together in heartbeats,
where there is poetry,
there will always be love.

The Valkyrie

In days of yore, when Vikings vigorously reigned
Beauty of the Valkyrie, vixen of intoxicating dreams
The maidens chose a paladin who departed and gained
entrance into Valhalla, they were Odin's esteemed

Beauty of the Valkyrie, vixen of intoxicating dreams
Goddess to serve her warrior - immortally embraced
Entrance into Valhalla, they were Odin's esteemed
Under her soft touch, favored men - tenderly placed

Beauty of the Valkyrie, vixen of intoxicating dreams
The maidens chose a paladin who departed and gained
Goddess to serve her warrior - immortally embraced
In days of yore, when Vikings vigorously reigned.

Waiting

On a day where
    the rain
  attacks the windshield
only to be brushed away
    like an ill-timed rebuke,
yet caresses my face
sweeping back my hair to unveil
the intensity of longing caused by you
do you think of me?

My entire being sings for you-
My life resonates in your echoes.
    I will wait for you...
will you ever come to me?

I dreamed last night of a kiss-
that you leaned down to me
and covered my mouth with yours,
    wholly bound to me
as if your tongue wrapped around mine
joined us more than in a marriage
    any lovers are.
Do you dream of me?

My entire being sings for you-
My life resonates in you echoes.
    I will wait for you...
will you ever come to me?

When I first said your name
it began to grow in me.
  On my breath
I hear the whisper of the words.
My heart beats to the rhythm
of the syllables immortally
    impressing themselves on my pulse-
  in my blood.
Do you long for me?

My entire being sings for you-
My life resonates in you echoes.
    I will wait for you...
will you ever come to me?

Orpheus and Eurydice

Come by,allow me to rest my knees
on those sinewy thighs!
I do not feel like feeding my mortal
body!
Just want your love to flood my eternal,
starving soul.

In my loneliness~ thoughts of you
crash my thoughts, endlessly!
Like an empty seashore thirsting
for crests of cool water..you...
My musical love partner!

Flood this immutable soul and then,
With tender love and with satiated souls,
We will rise, immortally.
Fulfilled, free and blessed.
Orpheus and his Eurydice, to dance in
ancient and splendiferous Arcadian skies
....eternally!

Pappa For Father's Day

This day - a marvelous devotion to my Dad,
who is emissary to the bonds of familial love.
Man who bestowed life upon me, you stand above
any man God created, hero role- you always had.
Gallant and fair, even when you were mad.
When life got too hard you gave me a shove-
Now I am a fortuitous woman, ti's you- because of.
Immortally your daughter, for this I am glad.

Protector, mentor - a few ways to define you
What really counts, though, is from the heart,
Copiously you bestow this gift so true-
The whole of your being, faithful you impart
Family matters, and no other- is your world view
Beings intertwined together... Never shall we part.

“The Surreal Mind of a Basic Green Dilettante”

In the flow Life washes in waves around me
I am buoyed by the seductive call of a crowned Blue Sky
the Sun shines upon the surreal mind of a basic green dilettante
immersed in cerulean dreams singing oceans of mysterious siren songs, an odd being
rippling over, ever-reaching, to touch this foreign corporeal vessel, contracted and sealed
something alien, never-ceasing from the deep light of being, in a place unseen
connecting with the mortal feeling of the immortal deeply hidden within
watching all, lying in wait entrapped internal, banished by the ever-present Seen

like spreading sonar from the depths the senses are touched,
penetrating the barriers the controls are read, manipulated, and switched off;

in the silence I draw in immeasurable clouds that ride over me,
their shadows pass over like holy ghosts, mute banshees, as if I am gone to ground;
in moments like these I gain entry to that other veiled world,
poetically pulled out of the now, through gleaming spurious dimensions
hypnotically devout the addressed undressed – what ripe dreams do spill?

like a hushed romance on knees praying
byzantine blue in a room with a complex view

ever closer mortal, immortally towards you

Azalea of My Heart

What can be fairer and just then,
the beauty of your plush pink skin.
In the moonlight, your beauty glimers in pink
as does the moon,
over the tripping waves of the peaceful sea.
In sunlight, the light catches your skin
and flirts with my eyes,
as does the dew in the sunken meadows,
with the first kisses of the dawn

Now how do I describe your endless beauty!
It is innumerable as the petals that share your name
My heart bleeds for your love
as your veins pump the finest milk,
that radiates your beauty.
In all the splendor and glory of Queen Cleopatra,
were she to bath in your milk,
she would be immortally present.

Your fully thick and impermeable lips
plague my dreams
as my eternal spring of youth.
Your hair, the only breeze that soothes my delicate skin.

As seasonal as this love may seem,
it does endure the scorch of heat
and glacier of frost.
Oh! To rest upon your golden chalice.

No, this  cannot be lust. I am certain.
This must be  love, even if it feels inclined.
There is no other light but the bright
piercings of your smile upon my heart.
Your laughter is the sweet smell of the exotic gardens of Budapest,
the nectar of my own ears.

See how your petals have bloomed,
the light hits your petals like snowflakes.

Find Me At Six -- Bali

Find me amid the heavens and the sea.
Where the Coral Triangle calls Bali,
The waters are painted a golden hue.
And sun shines its whimsy to life anew.
Beautiful mermaids dance immortally.
There, at six, you shall happily find me.

Precipice of Tme

Stand I here upon the Precipice of Time
between madness and derangement-
In a grief so profound
ambiance of rage,
with darkening clouds abound
marring my every breath
Declaration to your joy unsound.

Yet- from this stance
I envision you, my perfect
seraphim of light-
aching for you
Ceaselessly grasping for that which
I have no chance.
Grasping – bent in half
weeping-
My corrupt nature defies
All I hold sacred and true-

You need know
My soul rages in disparity-
Immortally, hourly, minutely, secondly…
ETERNALLY-
I cry.
The Dragon’s shadow awaits me.

Shapes, wraithlike and laughing-
clawing… dragging…shadows
eerily baffling.
Veiled obscurity- most refuse to see
This sickening reality
Tis only righteous- to set you free…
Paled I am by another’s word-
his creed, I allowed this blasphemy
Unable, enable, culpable-
Guilty, frailty, unreality, liable.
Covet, yearn, anticipation- keen ambition
overshadows any austere regulation-

We two do stand upon this Precipice of time
My love stands as most depraved of crimes-
Stolen and deceived- Options extinct
Surrender is an unnatural ailment for me.

Spirit of Equus

Equus -
From birth I felt your
vigorous presence-
In this body, it is a tingle of joy,
Upon which I fully enjoy-

Spirit horse
You have taught me the true voice of the wild
You have showed me the coup of burden
You have let me know it is all a choice-
In your company I rejoice
In your strength- Secure in your power.
From you, the dreadful cower-
Specter of wind, shadow the sin
Always creeping within-
You bring the light.

Within the constellations
We are close
My Aquarius, below Pegasus
and southeast of Equuleus
Coincidence?
So inseparable are we
In the flesh you have come to me
I see your actions as a language
ingrained- no voice
Yet- You tell me everything
with the simple swish of a tail-

Swiftly you emerge
With a lightening trail
When I seek freedom and flight
Take me, Equus spirit, to a place
where we gallop together racing the clouds
Where love is unrestrained
and liberation abounds-
Synchronized are we in vitality-
As one are we in flesh-
Kindred spirit
Immortally we mesh.

Ave-Maria

Concealed beneath the veil was a face of gold
But to approach, not even cupid is so bold
For the mere thought of it made me chilly cold
But the passion deep in my chamber I could no longer hold
So I clenched my teeth and decided to let my love unfold
I didn’t know the woe awaiting was one untold
For the veiled beauty till now I uphold

So with a heart of steel, I took the dare
Blinking all the while to break her holy stare
Telling my heart for the great task ahead to prepare
For not even the Virgin Mary my lust could spare
So I let my lips roll as she glare

“Blessed thee, beauty of the convent
Thy heart has made with me a covenant
And so should thy passion for me this instant
If loving thee be a sin, then never is me repentant
for this affection I build is immortally stagnant
So please, descent of eve, hold my hand
And tell me thy heart”

She smiled immaculately and took my hand
Then took a rosary and coiled it in my palm
Making the sign of the cross and said slyly. .

Belief and Faith Promotes

Some persons wanted Him to be killed
Others planned to tie Him up or to expel
Plans of polytheists of Ka’bah, He was revealed
He moved to Medina, with a mission to propel

Besiegers followed Him, to track
Tracking led them unto a cave
Searched with vengeance, to unleash a brutal attack
It was God’s unyielding kindness that came to save

Surprising to see was a spider’s web, engulfing the entrance
Cave’s entrance was also covered by an acacia tree
And a pigeon with eggs over her nest, in penance
All happened at once, as per Allah’s decree

Cave gave impression, as if never was visited by anyone
And also that none could have ever entered inside
Thus trackers driven to disregard the holy cave and gone
Though the Holy Prophet Muhammad stayed with aide

From the imminent danger, He was just a wall away
With Him withstood was the will of the ultimate
Later led to His landmark migration, on Allah’s way
From Mecca to Medina, with an assignment to actuate

Blessings put Him as the Prophet of God, universally
His move to Medina marks the beginning of Islamic calendar
He was blessed to found the Islam religion, immortally
In the Islamic theology, there is none to stand with Him at par

He is the ever ‘Glorified one’
Being the ‘chosen one’ He got God’s intimacy
With ‘words of the God’ He compiled the Holy Qur’an
In the everyday Islamic life, He is the living legacy

Fate of any person shall surely change
Like an ordinary merchant becoming ‘Apostle of the God’
Absolutely beyond an imaginable range
All happened as God gave His nod!

The mentioned miracles are not magic
They confirm how abundant was His blessing!
None can contest this, using logic
As His mission too succeeded beyond guessing!

This confirms, everything stays at God’s will
Anything can happen if God is pleased to destine
God is beyond scientific drill
Also with logic, you can’t discover the divine

Rather belief and faith promotes you to reach
Steady surrender to Him shows the path
Life of Prophet Muhammad, leads to teach
Of course! This is a time tested truth!
