a superbly flowing piece of work, Clive. I was drawn to your words with the message from immortals. I loved 'She, the page..." It spoke to me. Nicely done, Sara

this is so poetic the way your words flow in such captivating and mellifluous cadence is so beautiful to the soul of a reader. Its like reading an ancient poem the way you’ve phrased your lines: i love van gogh: and i love the line “ that she the page immortally on by” ah impeccable. Love this. fave for me

Thank you for saying such kind words about my poem. On a trip to Amsterdam just before covid we went to the Van Gogh museum and there were many of his self portraits, a random thought of him being immortal looking out at everyone inspired the writing of this poem, when we got home.
