Best Fulfil Poems
It seems you only appear whilst I am asleep,
teasing rapid eye movement to awake and weep.
You hide, so I wonder how beautiful you must be,
fulfil my desires and give me the chance to see.
I believe you have beauty, eyes have never seen,
which allures me to places I have never been.
Maybe you were sculpted by Michelangelo's hands,
DaVinci drew you a smile only he understands,
Rembrandt's hand trembled at the sight of your grandeur,
maybe you are the one, Raphael's angels adore.
Your image mirrors Cleopatra's unique class,
which fades at daylight, regrets begin to amass.
I do not know your name, Silent remains the tongue,
yet I fondly believe in my heart you belong.

I wish you well...
I’m here, again…
Come riding in, upon the western wave
My hair all wove with golden leaves, my breast
As pale as moonlight on a hidden grave
And all the sins of summer long confessed
I come, again…
In sweeping skirts, with white swan feathers strewn
To brush the summer dust from weary grass
Make ash of aspen, damp the flame of noon
Before the frost freeze water into glass
I bring, to you…
Windfallen apples, berries from the hedge
Long shadows on the barrows, and the chalk
Wild winds to stir the willows and the sedge
And mist, and myth, down every path you walk
I’m here, again…
The promise of the harvest to fulfil
The energy of autumn, streaming through
The swirling springs that spiral round the hill
To drench the land in red and russet hue
I come, again…
Between the longest day and shortest night
To fill the blood and marrow of your bones
With all the orange glory of the light
Before the dark descend upon the stones
I bring, to you…
A cornucopia of ripened fruit
Dark juices of the vine in bottles bright
To nourish soul and body, to transmute
Your thought to dream, your dream to second sight
For I am She…
Am Autumn writ, in every field and tree
Am mistress of the Owl and running Hare
So yield unto my kiss, and blesséd be
And dance with me, oh Druid, if you dare…

Is the ship
still in its bottle..
Have your lips
become dry,
tired from yearning.
Do you still wear
my sage shirt.
Are you still crying,
are all those tears for me..
Are you still reading the silent one?
Did you write me one last poem
or is your poetic garden full of decay?
Do you ever hear my voice
echo in the silence.
Turn around when
you feel my presence?
Do you call my name,
forgetting I'm no longer there..
Have you lost hope,
wondering where I am,
if I'm watching from up above?
Are you still hiding,
tired from smiling,
still pretending.
Has life lost substance?
Those shattered pieces of glass
do they still reflect regret,
is your heart heavier than a cliché
resembling fragments of stone,
do you look back at the footsteps in the sand?
Do you listen to our songs,
the ones we forgot to sing,
where I was the chorus
to the rhythm of your heartbeats.
Am I still your journal?
Does sunset still have meaning,
do you sit there cursing the Gemini moon,
does June still have a purpose?
In episodes of rage
are you angry that
I could not fulfil my promise,
do you hate me for being gone
blame me for destroying our dreams,
am I the reason you feel trapped?
Did you cry upon my grave,
place a carnation upon
the soil which has buried me
or do you never visit?
.... Do you still love me?

If Gratitude were enough,
I’d fill the oceans with mine for having you
If laughter were enough,
I’d make you laugh till your last breath,
Just so I can hear that beautiful sound for eternity
If dancing was enough,
I’d waltz and foxtrot with you till your feet hurt
If tenderness was enough,
I’d then spend the rest of the day massaging those feet
Just so I can take the aching away
If life were enough,
I’d trade mine for yours in a heartbeat
Just so you can live to fulfil all your heart’s desires,
As all I want for you is your never-ending joy,
Your gentleness, coyness, kindness
And if love were enough,
I’d love you in and out of time,
As I love you from this day onwards,
I will love you beyond my final breath
I LOVE YOU…

...and the wind..!
was,
electric.
there was water..!
there was sun..!
...it was all renewable...
the energy,
powered,
sustained,
life..!
Fossil liquids burning
emitting toxins
that was OUR mistake.
From the day a human kick started
wound up the first combustible engine..!
The first spill in any ocean
should have been our clue.
It was what cigarettes was to lungs-
-what alcohol was to brain cells.
It was a human error,
a human error so huge
that like a mythical dragon
assumed a life of its own
consumed the will
the power
the limited minds
of limited men.
Unlike the giant beast
veiled as nuclear power
with its unlimited potential
that would have wooed the minds
of the greatest among us,
oil from its inception
had the smell of destruction on its breath.
It would in its own way
fulfil the prophecy
the world would end
with a whimper not a bang.
We saw its horns
its bright red skin
its pitch fork
but we signed up willingly
...and from that day on
our eternal souls were damned.

A Plate of Disorder
Are you ready to Disorder Sir?
What can I tempt you for a starter,
May I recommend the Turmoil Soup?
Garnished with Havoc Green Tartar.
For the main, perhaps our house speciality,
Goujons of Chaos and Sweet Bedlam.
With a Medley of Confusion and Mess,
Served on a bed of Smoked Mayhem.
On the Dessert Trolley tonight,
We have a Disarray of Cheese Cake,
A delicious Rhubarb Anarchy,
Or Sticky Turbulent Plum Bake.
Please enjoy your hearty and Riotous feast,
May it temper and fulfil the agitated beast.

“Stealing our breath, you came down to us with angelic grace and you keep holding us under your magic spell” ~ By Poet
A precious little angel is born to us.
Our first grandchild, a bundle of joy,
Sent down from heaven, a blessing!
One look at her cherubic face
Made our hearts race in joy.
She looked at me with wide open eyes,
As if affirming a bond long established.
As if telling me, “Grandma, I am by your side,
To fulfil your yearning for a daughter
To fill the vacuum, you have long been feeling”.
With wonder and joy, we gazed at her angelic face,
- her tiny hands with long tapering fingers,
- her tender feet with cute little nails,
and her parted little lips that quivered to tell a tale.
Baby, you are fresh like the morning dew,
Beautiful like a fairy,
And fragrant like an opening flower.
You push your way like light seeping through,
Into our hearts and thoughts, day in and out!
Sweet one, we cuddle and hold you,
Close to our heart and thoughts,
And entreat God the Almighty to take care of you,
To bring pride and hope to your dad and Mom,
And hold the hands of your aged grandparents!

FREEDOM OF CHOICE
The greater blessing is the power of choice
Not gifts nor riches any way compare
With having your own mind, to give it voice
See then your many options and rejoice
That You may wander here and venture there
The greater blessing is the power of choice
Prefer the active to the passive voice
And you will find the strength to counter care
With having your own mind to give it voice
The slave may drink from cup of gold alloys
And sleep in sheets of silk and satin rare
The greater blessing is the power of choice
Beware free handouts for they may invoice
With lost volition, thus they will impair
The having your own mind to give it voice
Fulfil your obligations, then rejoice
Though poverty may seem a threat to bear
The greater blessing is the power of choice
With having your own mind to give it voice

Thank you Sweet Lord
For this wonderful day
The comfort I slept in
The bed where I lay
My faith in my waking
Was never in doubt
Your Love in abundance
I’m never without
I’ve lived on the edge
In my thoughts and my deeds
But each time I fall Lord
You fulfil my needs
I know I’m not perfect
Not even that close
But know in my heart
That I love you the most
You’ve lovingly made me
From nothing but dust
To live among nature
To bathe in your trust
I fail in my goals Lord
I’m often so wrong
But my faith in your Saviour
Is righteous and strong
I cry and I argue
As misdeeds come my way
Bewilderment, sadness
Extremes of dismay
But time heals all wounds
And you’ve never as yet
Burdened my soul
With more than regret
Money and power
The chains that men wear
Evil incarnate
The emblem they wear
The Heavens seem broken
Hell’s taking its toll
I wish I could help Lord
Mankind find his soul
The wings of the Angels
Too heavy for carriage
Set loose from loves cradle
An eniquitous marriage
Find favour in hatred
In Evil find rapture
While the souls of the living
They wantonly capture
Does the fate found in Fatima
Herald our ending
Or is it a portent
That mankind is bending
To the will of the Devil
Corruption and vice
Can you feel mans compassion
Enshrouded in Ice
Oh! What will it take
For to open our eyes
To see through the Evil
This fabric of lies
Come! Lend us your wisdom
Help us see past our fears
Your wonderous truth
Let it wipe dry our tears
The paths that I followed
Far too often misled
To stray from your side Lord
Is the fear that I dread
I yearn for my children
In a world I don’t know
And I’ll Cry and I’ll Pray
For the sweet seeds they’ll sow

It's the evening of the year
The great majestic ball.
I go along trembling with fear
No one will ask me to dance at all.
The lights are blazing above
The musicians strike up their chords
In the eyes of some, shows expectant love,
In others, time they can ill afford.
The dance floor is polished to the hilt
So the dancers can glide with ease.
Some Scottish laddies dressed in highland kilt
Serving wine and nibbles which will please.
I sit amongst the ladies and their idle chatter
The lights catching a glint of tiara-erred heads
Note book clenched between sweating palms
Dance spaces at the ready for any suitor to read
A minuet is played, the ladies hold their partners hands
Just a light touch from glove to glove
The soft music emulates a wonderful sound,
Stirring a thought or two towards love
Back to my chair he gallantly leads me
Bowing slightly as he helped me to sit
Would you do me the honour, he asks,
Let me fill in the vacant spaces in your list.
I sit there dreamily thinking of what this might bring
Is this the man to fulfil my needs.
I then wake up with a start, as the kettle sings,
To face my hungry family which I need to feed.

It’s sticky and it’s sweet
Limp but I’m sure I could get it to peek
I will linger on it and give you that sweet release
But all in due time, let’s play hide and go seek
I fumble around searching for my prize
I wanted to play but please don’t run and hide
I pout and stick my dewy lip out
You chuckle enjoying the ruse
But never forget you’re the one that got me to sing the blues
I start to search for that impeccable throb
Finding it hiding deep like a cob
I gleam with might
Licking my lips with anticipation and delight
Resting my hands on your thighs
I lean in retrieving my sort after prize
Soft and sleek at first working my way up your peeking birch
A hiss seeps from your clenched teeth
Giving my tongue the accolade it seeks
To run it up and down from thick base to throbbing tip
I let my teeth come out and play
Grinding them up and down your intrepid bay
Feeling you throb and pulse with pleasure
Pushes me on until your length is all I can measure
Gagging on the sheer size, feeling your hands weave and pull with surprise
Pushing and pulling me back and forth
Feeling you quiver yearning for what only I can fulfil
I let you have it and give you the drill
Yelling out my name like it’s pure ecstasy
You let go and pour out your sweet yearning for me
Letting me lick my lips and swallow with glee.

Jesus Christ the incarnate son of God
one with the father in heaven above
while on earth displayed all godliness
showing to all mercy and love
This Christ displayed His power
performing wonders for all to see
but humbly meek in all He did
casting out demons setting captives free
On one occasion told His disciple
when needing to pay the tax
go to the sea and cast a hook
bring out first fish you catch
When you open its mouth
you'll find there a shekel
take it and bring it back
pay the taxman so all will be well
Such is the majesty of Jesus
to make people stand in awe
for He's able to do all things
came also to fulfil His law
AUTHOR NOTES: ' When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax went up to Peter and said, “Does your teacher not pay the tax?” He said, “Yes.” And when he came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do kings of the earth take toll or tax? From their sons or from others?” And when he said, “From others,” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free. However, not to give offence to them, go to the sea and cast a hook and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.” Matthew ch 17 vs 24-27

How do we meet under a lover’s moon?
What does this moon look like?
Will it give me a lover?
Or will it send me on my bike?
Why be under a lover’s moon
Does it imbibe powers of prowess?
Of does it hide their shyness
If in a state of near undress.
A harvest moon a blue moon
A waning and a waxing one
A new moon an old moon
And yet only one precious sun.
People cast their seed
On the first full moon in spring
They say it gives the best crops
And that’s saying something.
There are dances in the moonlight
For those with nefarious thoughts
Bet they‘d get a fright
When lycanthropics, rampage and cavort
On the night the moon is full what a shock for all the lovers
A werewolf jumps on them, just as their delights each uncovers
So blue moon new moon, harvest moon of just full
Which is the lover’s moon so my dreams I can fulfil?

IN A MISSION TO FULFIL HIS PASSION
A man with a purpose
A hotspot for mental strength
Driven by great aspirations
Curious and unstoppable
Well determined and focus
Standing on a peak of tower
Gazing the world to change it
Well prepared and cognizant of time
In a mission to fulfill his passion
Using perseverance the language of time
Regardless the pain of facing the reality
To him the impossible is nothing
Your weakness is his strength
The impossibilities is his materials
To serve his purpose

ATHENS DECEMBER 1983
COSMOS COLOURED KALEIDOSCOPE
A world so full of people,
Yet so empty,
Its vacuum is unbelievably painful,
Our cosmos surrounds us
In it’s infinite greatness,
But within, lies only selfishness.
A planet, a continent
A country, a town,
What does it matter if there
Is no meaning to
It’s very existence,
If for what we are looking
For, lies hidden beneath a
Lifetime’s experimentation?
A vision for a lust
Of living suddenly
Flashes past,
And as thirsty as we are to
Fulfil our innermost desires,
Grasp out and clutch,
At an unfinished dream,
Only to find that this illusion
Is not tangible,
Only imaginable!
