light of our true Self.

~Stay Focus On The Lord~
(Kyrielle)

Stay focus till you reach your goal
Take it slow and watch for your soul
Don't rush and you will be just fine
And know that with Gods help you'll shine.

As you do this you'll start to climb
Make beautiful music and rhyme
Rest assured that things will align
And know that with Gods help you'll shine.

Stay focus with your heart and mind
Do your part remember Gods kind
And he has your heart in a shrine
And know that with Gods help you'll shine.

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

-“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (NIV)

- Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer
Romans 12: 12 ( NIV )

-The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
 Exodus  14: 13  ( NIV )

Premium Member Focus On the Good

Inspired by a close friend to remind me to keep holding on to hope as I pass it along.

Focus on the Good

To keep your focus
Only on the good
Doesn't come as easy
As it seems it would

All the daily hectic-ness
With those ups and downs
Brings the woe and worry
That tries to chase you down

It is like being trapped
In a wilderness of weeds
Ever growing wild and tall
For as far the eye can see

Then you see a little flower
In the weeds bursting through
Or was it the few kind words
You heard spoken directly to you

The fruit of the Heavenly Spirit
Full of love, happiness and joy
Lives within us to give to others
 For your goodness to self employ

When that flower or bit of kindness
Runs into more conflict somewhere
Be sure to look before it fades away
For another beautiful bloom to appear

When you see even a little sparkle
Clear away the debris to let it shine
Turn away from the discontentment
Keep only goodness in your mind

For us to inherit His kingdom
One thing the Bible does say
We should focus on the good
Before we find the pathway

Tumultuous clouds and bright sunshine
     spread across the sky

Storms may seem everlasting
     and light may refuse to fade

Problems and solutions need

Once a guy in college
Had a quest for knowledge
Then became drunk
Left in a funk
Now stuck in life's follage!

Premium Member Focus Focus Not Just Your Problems Alone But Focus On Jesus Christ

FOCUS FOCUS NOT JUST YOUR PROBLEMS ALONE
BUT FOCUS ON JESUS CHRIST

How can I abide in your heart;
When you have torn it apart;
And when can I be your friend;
When you won’t believe in me;

Focus
Focus
On my light
Focus
Focus
On my love for you first and Christ;
And how can you believe;
When you won’t first receive;
And how can you truly give;

FOCUS FOCUS NOT JUST YOUR PROBLEMS ALONE
BUT FOCUS ON JESUS CHRIST

When yet you’re not truly alive;
It’s been said again and
Again and again and again and again---
You won’t believe nor receive  me;

FOCUS FOCUS NOT JUST YOUR PROBLEMS ALONE
BUT FOCUS ON JESUS CHRIST

Focus
Focus
On my light
Focus
Focus
On my love for you first and Christ;
And how can you believe;

All is possible
All’s possible in the mind of Christ;
Allow God to whisper sweet somethings whole not impart;
Open your spirit, soul, mind body mind and ears;
To the words of God
Focus
Focus
Focus
FOCUS FOCUS NOT JUST YOUR PROBLEMS ALONE
BUT FOCUS ON JESUS CHRIST
Focus
 On God’s  light
Remember Jesus Christ

A Focus On Insane Love

How long has it been since the stars have gone?
Where is my hope, my love, my faith, my light?
Why is it always darkest before dawn?

I'm the ugly duckling, I am no swan.
I hold unto your shadow in the night.
How long has it been since the stars have gone?

I fear I may have become panic's spawn,
My dark mind has loosened, no longer tight,
Why is it always darkest before dawn?

And when the morning comes I am withdrawn
I breathe out of habit, I breathe in spite.
How long has it been since the stars have gone?

I stifle my life with merely a yawn
I try hard to prove everything's all right.
How long has it been since the stars have gone?
Why is it always darkest before dawn?

In the morning I become someone new
I lie and lay in your arms bathed in tears.
Hearing you breathe in the dark sky of blue.

Is this love is tainted with morning dew?
You give into my love, release my fears
In the morning I become someone new.

I have forgotten far more than I knew.
Been lost in this darkened abyss for years.
Hearing you breathe in the dark sky of blue.

Kick me once in the back when you are through.
Stab me with yesterday's memory shears.
In the morning I become someone new.

Make my pale pink skin a much darker hue.
Scream my shame once and again in my ears.
In the morning I become someone new,
Hearing you breathe in the dark sky of blue.

Alas, the day becomes purple and dark.
As I await the last word of the day.
Shoot at me your arrow, I am your mark.

What once was light, has become stark
My blue sky has become a blackened gray,
Alas, the day becomes purple and dark.

You are the fire; I, merely the spark.
I promise to stick by you come what may,
Shoot at me your arrow, I am your mark.

I'll be the meaty bait, you be the shark.
Just always say that next to me you'll stay.
Alas, the day becomes purple and dark.

Love isn't always a walk in the park.
But next to you I long to rest and lay,
Alas, the day becomes purple and dark.
Shoot at me your arrow, I am your mark.

Focus On the Crocus

If we focus on the crocuses
Just nosing from the ground,
We’ll realize there’s a corner of which
Spring is just around.

Their little stems are poking up
With leaves all tucked in tight,
Just waiting to reveal their colors,
Much to our delight.

For when those purples manifest,
The season’s underway;
And crocuses will lead the dance
In Nature’s spring display.

Until that magic time, we wait
And need no hocus-pocus,
For reassurance beckons if we
Focus on the crocus.

Premium Member Focus On the Thumb

Some focus on hair, on legs, on muscles or on lips
   on feet, on shoulders, on arms or on hips

Yet though you may think it a bit odd or dumb
   my sole focus here will be on the thumb

Is the thumb worthy of a rigorous dissection like this?
   I'll let you be the judge of that in the final analysis...

The thumb, of course, is what makes us primates
   same as black and white stripes make men inmates

Speaking of distinction, the thumb's what babies suck
   and just you try from a babe's mouth that thumb to pluck!

When gardening it sure pays to have a thumb that is green
   while a handyman who's all thumbs is regularly demeaned

Then there are 'rules of thumb' based on real-life experience
   casting out hypotheses, guesses, and other such interference

Remember 'Tom thumb,' the tiny man once swallowed by a cow?
   King Arthur's favorite, he even tangled with giants - O, wow!

Such a graceful dancer was Hans Christian Anderson's 'Thumbelina'
   He could just as well have made her into a prima ballerina

I mustn't leave out Little Jackie Horner who famously
   stuck in his thumb and pulled out a plum!

And for those of you who like music some
   Imagine a guitar strummed without a thumb

So, in closing, to conclude, to summarize, in summary, in sum
   Just when was the last time your thumb went numb?!

From my mother, I've learned to savor the present,
To be relaxed and at ease,
To be kind and considerate to all those I meet,
And to keep on multiplying, growing, and achieving.

From my father, I've learned to dance with abandon,
To let go and have fun,
To let my joy show through in every step and move,
And to keep on moving forward, no matter what.

From my stepfather, I've learned the value of silence,
To hold my tongue and listen more,
To think before I speak, and choose my words carefully,
And to let my actions speak louder than my words.

From my grandmothers, I've learned the importance of hygiene,
To keep myself clean and fresh,
To take care of my body and mind,
And to attract love and good fortune through self-care.

From my sisters, I've learned to laugh with abandon,
To find the humor in every situation,
To be playful and light-hearted,
And to stand up for those who need a voice.

From my brothers, I've learned to find the humor in the past,
To laugh at the mistakes and lessons learned,
To not take life too seriously,
And to move on from pain with a smile on my face.

From my wife, I've learned to live in the moment,
To be easy-going and stress-free,
To be kind and compassionate to all,
And to give thanks for every blessing in my life.

From my ex-girlfriends, I've learned to trust my instincts,
To listen to my inner voice and pay attention to my dreams,
To be aware of any red flags or warning signs,
And to follow my heart and intuition.

From my friends, I've learned to be supportive and encouraging,
To uplift and celebrate the women in my life,
To be genuine and sincere in my compliments,
And to appreciate the beauty and strength of others.

From my children, I've learned the power of forgiveness,
To let go of grudges and move on,
To focus on love and understanding,
And to prioritize relationships and connection above all else.

Focus On Our Families

FOCUS ON OUR FAMILIES

The devil is quite busy in most families today,
Though most of us don’t realize the roles that he will play.
He keeps the parents busy with jobs and on the run,
He keeps the children active with all sorts of worldly fun.
He keeps the bankbook busy with things to buy or bills,
He keeps the schedule full of so many worldly thrills.
The social life he offers with the parties or the drinks
Appeals to many people; it’s so much fun, they think.
He keeps the spirit busy with no time for the Lord,
The more that he stays active, the more is his reward.
He fills us with excuses, which we often think are good
Why we can’t be committed and serve God as we should.
He builds in us a spirit that’s critical to be,
And so we look at others and our own faults we don’t see.
He keeps our lives so active with all his sights and sounds
So that when God might need us, we just can’t be around.
He tries his best to keep us so centered on our self
That far too many hours our Bible’s on the shelf.
He lets us spend our money on things we think we need--
A tithe? We can’t afford it! An offering? No, indeed!
And he’s redefined the marriage in many different ways,
It’s now for “live together” and even for the gays.
The parents and the children just don’t communicate,
Instead it is the TV, the CD, or the tape.
And then there are computers or Nintendo games to play,
Or magazines or books to read to fill the time today.
The young folks are rebellious, defying Godly laws,
But don’t you dare to spank them, regardless of the cause!
Keep God out of the schools, the church separate from state,
And don’t speak out on morals which someone violates.
We could go on much longer with all the devil’s schemes,
And as the days keep going, there are new ones, so it seems.
The vision of the family is so obscured and blurred
That we need it corrected through the message from God’s word.
So let’s focus on our families and how to make them strong,
To reinforce commitments, to overcome our wrongs.
For God first made the family, and He has a perfect plan,
So let’s listen to the messages that come now through His man.
They come straight from the Bible, God’s word, tested and true,
Let’s let them clear our vision, and our families renew!

                                         so clear

                                         on track
