Premium Member Wake Up Oh Africa

With the heavy load you suffer
a substance not needed
yet drags you
cushioning your efforts
and deterring your pace, forgetting that
the Train is already moving
with passengers determined
for this journey.

Why get so distracted
by passers-by focused to catch up?
Why are you tossed side to side,
putting you each time,
a step backwards?
Can't you realize that
the Train is already moving
with passengers determined for this journey?

It seems you are the only one left
and this is solely your doing
with no one to blame
and the rest,
definitely have no added advantage over you.
So stop acting weak
cos the Train
is already moving
with passengers determined for this journey.

Wake up oh Africa!
you get your independence
just to become a volunteer slave.
You live in a Mansion
yet have no place to sleep.

Stop acting like a bucket of Crabs
killing each other
just to get out
and copy the ants
united and networking
for a common cause.

You fight for just a coin
underneath the Table.
When on it is a box
full of this same treasure.
Despite knowing how to reach out
to its top,
you neglect such knowledge
and accept conflicts, violence and wars.

Settling for good enough
is worst than being bad
you blow your trumpet
when you make a step
out of a thousand more.
You show unbelievable contentment
to mediocrity and under-achievements,
but remember this!
Half a giant is no giant at all.

You have the breast plate
of protection
and all the arsenals to battle
yet you dine with the helms of poverty
and embrace the ambassadors
of all kinds of infirmities.
You walk around naked
and seem not to bother
oh Africa!
Do you exist to actualize all these negativity?

An expert of imitation
and a professional in copying
no wonder no matter your trys
you end up as number 2 at best.
Because you've neglected
the sweetness of your originality.

You milk your cattle
to nourish the west
you harvest your crops
to feed foreign stomachs
you stand on abundant humus
yet your leaves are yellow and dry.

Exactly what will happen to the ants
if their Queen puts
their fate on the lizards
is what will befall you
not until you wake up oh Africa!

I never thought that one day I might be
so separate and distanced from the sea,
and grey-blue mornings offering a cloak
of cushioning velvet, where once I woke
so long ago, to watch the gannets dive
as silvered arrows from a tight-strung bow.

Those days were ever tinged with disbelief
that fate had held my hand, though all too brief,
and led me to this cherished place, where grace
and beauty did my other world replace.
It was, I know, with age now bittersweet,
the greatest gift that fortune could bestow.

In memory now I hear the ocean speak
of all its moods when, waking or asleep,
I see and hear that lifeforce long forgone.
As to its beating heart forever drawn,
I ponder on the change it wrought in me,
and things that are, and things that weren't to be.

He

He deserves such softness.
Bony hips bruised on the corners of card tables and rough edges
Three different lifetimes worn through his young skin.
Skin bruised beyond its years and demanded tougher every day.

He shall be anointed with the softness of my palms and fingertips
May my lips show him his hunger and thirst is all that matters
The folds and curved edges in my mirror were overfilled in my mind
But it is not my mind that needs cushioning
It is his.

I will be his softness. Whether to lay a tired head upon, or to devour hungrily.
Like a peach, my skin, too, breaks easily, and he may tear into my sweet flesh
But for once, I can see him nourishing himself
And I can be his softness.

My Sanctuary For Naked Slumber

I go to sleep in eden's garden
I'm surrounded by flowers and leaves
I fall asleep completely Naked, as i breathe in the fragrant flowers
I rest in the tranquil garden.

In my Nakedness
I go to sleep where nature sleeps
I sleep underneath this chilly, empty, pitch-black sky as the birds hum lullabies
Similar to a chrysalis, i am enclosed.

In the position of a foetus, cradled like a baby
Within this lovely, secure garden
My only source of illumination is the serene lunar surface
In this garden of eden, i have a peaceful Naked night's sleep.

Stunning Naked slumber
I spread my brand-new, vibrant wings
When i wake up to discover that i am reborn every day as a butterfly
My home is the garden of eden.

My refuge for all time
I feel the flowers and leaves cushioning me as i sleep Nude
While i am in my wonderful Naked haven, i eat in the garden of eden.
My sanctuary of Naked slumber.

I'm the Naked poet.

A Beautiful Scarecrow

Her material-finished-economical clothes,
from see through to micro-mini skirts,
all display bleached thighs.
Thighs, cushioning men to comfort,
smooth and spotless,
like refined cotton.
She is beauty itself.
Those who see say:
voluptuous bosom,
tattooed and displayed,
displayed naked for the naked eye.
A glance at them,
has made men instant babies.
Blood-red lips, always calling,
silently calling those not scared.

Hips form smooth curves,
perfect with the supple waist.
Boosters on all curves,
perfect the magnetic arcs,
Her secret of the game.
At sight,
she kills the second thought.
Her hypnotizing voice,
always setting the pendulum in motion,
yet enticing many to sleep underground.

Replaced hymen,
mocks the grooms chastity.
Like a suicide bomber she knows her calling.
Guiltless ever,
she comes calling and knocking.
Generous ever,
plays hard to get when smiling.

Oh beautiful scarecrow,
you scare them but keep coming.
Scare them, they’ll know,
they’ll know.
Beauty is only skin-deep.

Her Secret Admirer

Her steps echoes down the hall,
As she takes my breadth away into the mall,
Entering, she deprives me of the air of fall,
As her body responds to beauty's call,

Breaking my senses of reason,
My defenses,she shatters into season,
As her smile lights my face's treason,
Leaving it with sweet seasoning,

I am left holding on to my heart,
As her eyes tears its meekness apart,
Cushioning its fall,my strength starts,
As I ride on shyness's cart,

My heart seeks her affection,
But my words fail for her attention,
As I hope to win her love's election,
I would sit in my corner of no detection,

My Teenage Crush

MY TEENAGE CRUSH

A_Certain_Nii

Ere half a score and three in this sapien space
Eyed a destination that would take me there
Very noble and widely embraced by the numbers
I set out well in the name of getting there.

The fondness nurtured for my then would be love
Surpassed the trial and error date I'm assaying with my now.
I indexed any endeavour in clamouring for that tomorrow
All I could in my veins I hesitated not.

The cushioning due me I never gained
The route to the root was never cleared
Roadblocks swamped my way; perils periplused my yearn.
My skin close destination, now too far.

Now with a deflected fire in my belly;
Grounded in the need to move on
Keeping it cool as a man; a man who has to live
Settling with a love I hate.

What's up miss popular? People know about your greed
Ya, got the text. The "Hey, dotard, don't talk to me freak,"
The average joe, and those silly electronics"
Please, Click Itch, labeling others as the smelly geek
So many countless hours cushioning in luxury
Preparing to feed your lust, her dinner platter
Feasting on periodic table and splitting bonding
Then misguided paparazzi ask what’s the matter?
Dr. Gluttony's remedy, a coke and Mentos
Pridefully smiling as other families shatter
Expecting everyone’s contributions to the plate
Because, you are the modern-day narcissistic (*sore)
The search engines have endless pages on the topic
Upon your illusion throne, craving and wanting more
Deep down in the shadows, harbors your anger and wrath
Enviously fishing for a fresh party's primate
Yep, Scarlett, Megan and Kelly all have perfect cups
But don’t worry, over time your bim-bims will deflate
Sorry, Brittany and Jen both have the perfect butt
Though your horoscope says, “glutes are going to inflate”
Ma'am Trash Troll, you have not the cash flow of Uncle Sam
What A disgusting branded pathetic child you are
Your future will be a shabby truck driver's pit stop
Slothfully dreaming of becoming a super star

Premium Member Sweet Penuche

With body and mind you respond to my touch,
gobbling up kisses, like sweet penuche,
I could not ask for a better lover; there is nonesuch.
When I grind my gears, you become my clutch
and I lean on you like an emotional crutch.

A magic elixir, you quench my heart
like sweet nectar, neither bitter nor tart.
Forged on passion's anvil, your lovemaking's an art.
And paused on the moment, my smile presses restart.

Your granite body buffed to a sheen
has a vulnerable heart; you're not a machine.
And yet, you make the impossible look routine.

With rippled muscles, as though chiseled from stone,
you're a warm schnook where dreams have blown,

You're the wind in my sails, without uttering a sound.

Behind the scenes, you don't speak much,
but like dawn's first light, you offer a new start.
Cushioning my falls, you spot me on life's trampoline
and somewhere between estrogen and testosterone
you find balance, both feet firm on the ground.

Women's Rights

A deep, dark kindred spider looms to proffer the sentiment,
That abuse just objectifies the long persistent winter:
Scouring around playfully, but embedded in the night -
Two way of seeing it but only one plight.

That black body, its piercing eyes drive acutely,
In the lengthy web that’s receptive but selfish with quirk,
With thin, spindly legs which effect to mobilise,
The creature only some befriend to glamourise.

We hold to the summer, autumn and spring as the norm,
Not winter’s harrowing chill which makes us so often ill;
The act of telling someone you've been raped, abused,
Should not be a sick kick or a jester’s a thrill.

If you don't give us our minds, stance and chirps,
You'll just be cushioning that admiring psychologist,
Who asks us about physical abuse, sexual, and rape,
But who we hate to have as we’ve no trait.

Give us our spirits, intellect and powers:
Don't glare, glance and glower at our ordinary activities;
Equality only exists when you feel it and can tower,
In the informal social networks of civil conviviality.

And of course, nasty small talk itself causes rape,
Violence and abuse which derides and can shape,
The heart that reaches out to befriend and welcome,
The fence-sitter, the open mind who quietly relates.

But if you say physical abuse just objectifies other lesser evils,
Like criticising needlessly, cutting us off, and gloating,
Then your sick in the head and unforgivable,
Because all discrimination is unnecessary and avoidable.

Fulfillment

Sitting
The plush grass beneath my feet
Cushioning my body an bringing me comfort
I grab a blade of grass seed and chew on it
Its crunchy ripe flavor stimulating my taste buds
I gaze into the blue sky
Admire the puffy white clouds looming closely overhead
See the setting sun from over a yonder tree line
The Sun slowly fading away with the time
Starting to turn the sky a tint of orange
The breeze is soft and gentle
And sweetly combs through my hair and brushes against my skin
Sweeping through the grass
As if it were the hair of the Earth
Gently swaying it from side to side
As it sweeps over the rolling country hills
And through the trees of the forest

Then I look to my left and see a highway
Full of cars roaring from in and out of town
On their way to unknown destinations
They drive by too quickly to notice all of this
And move too quickly to observe this beauty
And enjoy all the simple pleasures in life

The race may be for some
But it is not for me
I enjoy a much simpler way of life
And take in the beauty of the world around me
And like to slow down to enjoy it on occasion
I don’t enjoy competing with others
To see who gains the most wealth, fame, or fortune
At the end of life
I don’t want to spend time worrying about it
So while others search for fulfillment from the race
I’ll find my fulfillment from sitting
Right here

Images of Love

Like a harmless snake
Coiled around.
Soft smooth
Wrapped tight
Yet not restrictive
Unpossessing
Still giving room
To breathe

Like fire.
Gentle tongues
Of flame licking.
Sensuous warmth
Flooding, touching,.
Reaching every nerve
With a hot intensity
Of passion.

Like a stone.
Cold,rigid
Ungiving.
Set and immovable.
Possessing the place
Wherein it stands.
Hardened, unjoyous,
Itself in name only.

Like a comfortable
Pair of worn shoes.
So easy to
Slide into.
Relaxed,free.
Giving movement
Yet cushioning
Every step.

Refraction's slanted sunrise colors your
Eyes, as you fashion and refine the
Mosaic mirrors of your mind
Iridescent icicles of Christmas sleigh rides
Nights by the hearth, wrapped in each other's warmth
Intimate fragrant hush tracing
Springtime's delicate blush
Cloud softened cardigans
Embroided with memories of water lilies
Nostalgia's lakes of slowing ebbing aches
Cushioning the sharp
Empty corners of your heart.

Angel Swoop

Angel SwoopAngel Swoop

Watch the night as darkness unfold
As the angel swoop over my doubts
A glorious hope beacons on my timid spirit
As the moonlit glitters
As the hue in its hilarious state stooped
As sex and sense smile all through the ride
Trees crying
Curve snapping
Irony of iron stood in her sanctuary
The blistering blues cushioning the couch
As I push
Pushing her curve with my poetic pen
Her hyperbolic kiss hypnotize
The lantern mellow dim
My heart melts in the middle of the music
As breasts sunk into my lyrics
A harvest of echoes shook the roof
Neighbors plagiarizing through the window
Tears cascading as a Potaro river
As I watch,
As I watch,
Had being dreaming all this while….
