Best Confined Poems

Confined Wings

In a carnal...cage of ribs,
A suffering heart laments.
In the abode of the soul...
...faint echoes of muted pain..
...grace the dark cavity of flesh.

Whispers of failures resonate..
The soul...a pure white dove of dreams.
Captive of freedom...imprisoned from love.
Shackled to an interior dungeon of depression.

Red rivers stream...through the body’s conduits,
Poetic lullaby’s gush...soothing the dove to slumber.
Dreams of love...nestled deep..
...aspire the joy that once was.

Premium Member Confined Space

In a confined space, you are dwelling in your mind
The memories that trap you as a wood mousetrap
Turning back as a ghost that haunts an empty house
Staring to the roof searching for the answers to the
Questions that sometimes do not have a right response
Prisoning yourself in a cell until the warder open the lock

Me-The Confined Bird

A bird sings.. mawkish
Sings and dances smooth
She... by doing so
has naturally
forgotten her world.

Soars high upwards
aims to touch moon
but sadly can't..
falls back in nest

the bird is
unable
to achieve

her dreams..
being

"leashed".

Premium Member Confined Glory Shining From Behind

It’s one of the masters of colony domination
and the longest standing territory with unchanged defined borders.
The wave power of praia do Norte
attracts the unique technology of a wave farm existence.
In a compound of many flats, it’s the most reserved
and one of the twin sisters
in their menopausal period of the life imprisonment era.

The first domineering power to abolish human right repressiveness
which sustains the oldest alliance made in the world.
It’s a colourful identity, maintained by the porto
which has been imitated by regional powers.
Shines through a record-breaking Santa Claus parade
and hitting heights with a ‘half-a-county’ dinning.

Known continental praises of remarkable length in Vasco da Gama;
shows off mini-glory in the league of large firework rockets;
an intangible cultural heritage in the express exhibition of fatalism;
are highlights to its greatness
spreading from porto to Lisbon, then Braga to Benfica and overseas
contributing its ink, in the inscriptions of the developed giants.

Knowledge Confined In Paper

Sharpening the cells in cerebrum and cerebellum
Through meditation, arts, knowledge and strategy
With emotion, motion of sad and happy persons
From the history up to date and the moving pages
Writers write, artists art in front of the open universe,

The mysterious nature focuses the light of unknown
In the power of truth beauty in place and time both
Creation, destruction, origin of things and beings
With lots of evidence, imageries similes, legends,
Live examples, pictures, proverbs, experiments
The outputs are literature, history, logics, philosophy,
Geography, various sections of science, knowledge,

Once there was direct reflection of these branches
With the rising spirit in creativity, sensitivity, morality
Like fragrant in rhythmic life spread and surpassed
All that happiness sparkled in all as green as grass
The past disputes, misdeeds sunk in the Dead Sea
Spirituality, celestiality pervaded all hearts to please,

Now wrapped colorfully they are in libraries, shops,
In readers’ showcase, box, broken and left drawers,
Though they are available in educational institutions
Like school, college, departmental board, university
They are read irregularly that only in some occasions
And the readers are seen fruitless, reluctant in study,

In technological, multimedia flourish, worldly progress
Time is passed in over all progress making, fun, mock
Audio, video, radio, internet, face book, twitter, email,
Park, party, cyber, studio, footpath, automobile, mobile,
Drama, movie, gathering, indoor-outdoor multi events,
At lame excuse, cheap emotion Romeo-Juliet flirtation,

Writers, write on– artists, art on– in full swing, spirits
Let the curses of white sheets be dispelled from you
The curses of every written sheet will never grasp you
But you will see no one is out of the curses and tricks.

Confined

Dare your undesirable escape of emotion
Cease your glances of reverse direction
Our entities are of unison
Undeniable is the connection
Unfathomable, how strenuous it’s to imagine
Experience past and future, mirrored reflection
Accept my ubiquity within all your oxygen
Preordained configured via resurrection

When lost is luminosity
Flourishes your curiosity
Life proceeds at such velocity
Engulf you in insecurity
Feelings that couldn’t possibly
Have an immunity to eternity
Stunning is their multiplicity
Heard though worded inaudibly

Never shall you be forsaken
Nor left in your internal dungeon
Permit your defenses to soften
Grant this fruit chance to ripen
Memories of eons to awaken
Realize this is not mistaken
This genuine fortune
Has fate as the guardian

Lifetime of continuity
Overtakes us both implausibly
Consuming with such ferocity
Wishing for simplicity
Under neither’s authority
Though feelings of reciprocity
Serenade us acoustically
Yet expression isolated to poetry

Premium Member A Joyride

A joyride
Like that of a high speed rail
We may take our partners
Our small children
Or our old parents
For a joyride
Looking around
Scenery and nature
People and crowd
Shops and houses
Cars and buses
Highways and lanes
All are eye-catching
After a long time confining to
Walls and beds
While people are still hesitating to dine-in
Because of the virus
I love a joyride
I won't leave the outside world
Out of contact
I take photos from the car
I eat inside the car
I enjoy the hustle and bustle
Of life outside
Even though through
A small car window
I was bornt to this world
I was gifted
I won't leave it alone
Will it leave me alone
And I hope to live with it peacefully
Can I
I like to penetrate your soul too
Your world too
With my true love
Although only a little left
Can I

Premium Member -Confined

Day after day unable to roam
Doing what’s needed
Staying safe, staying home

Week upon week inside a confined space
Nowhere to go
No other place

Good days positive
Fun and laughter galore
Reflection of life and memories before

Grateful, appreciative
For all life provides
Content for protection, safe inside

Bad days negative
Unbearably long
Nothing right, everything wrong
Frustration, worry, uncertainty, fear
Tired, lazy, future unclear

Motivation fading
No end in sight
Unsettled times
A challenging plight

Worries, woes consuming the mind
Insanity looming being confined
Leaving the home a difficult chore
Struggling to get passed the front door

Feelings of anguish, sadness, dread
Apprehension not knowing what lies ahead

Our world is responding to a time unsure
This virus can come knocking at anyones door
So let’s work together stay safe and contained
So we can roam our earth in freedom again

confined,
shackled in chains,
there isn’t an exit sign;
how can a person escape their,
own mind.

Anywhere But Here

The walls close in,
peeling paint whispering stories
I’ve worn too long.
The air clings heavy,
stale as forgotten dreams,
suffocating, soaked in dust.

The clock ticks louder
than the fractures in my chest,
its hands dragging me
through an endless loop of nowhere.
Even the shadows feel stifling,
their jagged edges curling inward,
hungry to swallow me whole.

I’ve dreamt of escape -
to where the sky consumes the horizon whole,
where the wind is a reckless lover
who never lingers long.
To forests that hum with emerald light,
to cities alive with neon veins,
where my name dissolves
in the endless roar of strangers.

Anywhere but here,
where the air tightens like a noose,
where memories gnaw at my brittle bones,
where silence is a jagged scream
I cannot outrun.

I see myself on distant shores,
waves tugging at my aching ankles,
but the ocean only reflects my shadow,
unforgiving, unyielding,
dragging through every fractured sunrise.

Anywhere but here,
I whisper to the relentless night,
but even as I dream,
I feel the crushing weight of this place -
a gravity I cannot escape,
a tether carved deep into my skin,
one I’ll carry until I learn to make peace
with the prison I built.

Confined To You Always, (Ghazal)

There is a silk long thread sewn by my love.
at times it may just skip a notch, like love

I've hastened more than weary tales to where?
I found you in the turmoils soothing love.

Don't tilt, for if we both should reach the edge.
to heighten voices both shall shift such love.

I've stepped inside that reflect mirror phase.
Each proclaims: I am on loan from love.

The lips I seal as left were the usual brailles.
define each of the signatures leading love.

I should not phone or think whilst host of vibes.
thinks those which comes so often, doubting love.

Acts and facts may dream my rival's place
when thinking not from stepping from our love.

This quarantine is as honest as the soul
when the tranquil eye is led towards my love.

I crave the turning twist of speed, unknown,
to re-establish what was now, as love.

Try this, that whom is seen, shall not show love,
when ours alone is special, don't risk that love.

Premium Member Confined By Rhyme

My life has been confined by rhyme
Not in my prime as each limb I climb
On rhyme I fixate all of the time
A penny a word, maybe a dime
When the word won’t come, I pantomime

Confined

This house is not my home

10x10 room of isolation, I am alone
I grip the knob of the door and breathe deep
I already want to be alone and retreat
Back to the only space where I find relief

The door is now open, the air is cold
Royal flush in my hands but I'm ready to fold
Blurry faces, I try to look away but I can still hear
Tones of voices, only a child can cover their ears

Keep it together

Living in the smallest picture, with a larger one in mind
Keeping composure is a battleground
But for patience I seek and I find
I am a finder

I carry with me
The passion to succeed
I look inside myself and find
That I already have what I need

It's been another long day
I am ready to say goodnight

I am 5'8
There is 5 feet of clear space on the floor
I have a blanket
I lay down once more

I will endure another day
This will pass
These days will become the smaller picture
I'll be living large

I remember
This house is not my home
So I
Keep it together

For now I find comfort
In this 10x10 room of isolation
Here I am confined
I only love to be alone

I do not let it force me to forget
I am a finder, I will set myself free

Out of this room
Away from this house
Far from the hate
That I block out

I will find true love
And end up where I belong
The road is long
I find the strength to keep it together

I will not be confined.

Life With Agrophobia

So agrophobia,
A most ridiculous phobia,
Illogical impractical and so unreasonable,
The symptoms completely inconceivable,
A fear so irrational like a fear of ones shadow,
Although sciophobia is the fear of ones shadow,
Both more ridiculous than the other what a phobia,
Plagued by a confinement of my mind agrophobia
Agrophobia a fear of leaving my home alone,
I seemed to have lost my mind and backbone,
The very thought of one step outside my front door,
To even consider confuses me to my core,
The fear is so hardcore its impossible to ignore,
Sweating, perspiring, hyperventilating at the open door, Theres a world outside I'm dying to Theres a world out there I want to see and explore,
For god sake I cant even pop round next door,
I have lost the vigour of my mind,
I'm a prisoner held by an intangible fear I'm confined,
My four walls a cozy comforter my pacifier,
A shelter from the danger being in the line of fire,
The verbal gun fire, the glares that seem to transpire,
Amplified whispers with direct pointed gestures
The outdoors a magnified paranoid panoramic picture,
Inclusive of the anxiety of potential social failure,
All to consider if I make it outside the safety of my bunker,
This is just another day in my world of agrophobia.
