Premium Member Hello, January, We Need To Talk

I've been waiting up late for you,
watching the clock like a featured film.
Suspense waits no longer.
Here you arrive at 12 am
with a firework's bang.
At this hour,
this is your greeting?
Hello, January,
we need to talk....
I haven't seen you in months,
and you come barging in.
You come on so strong,
but sometimes you can be so cold.
You let me down last time you were here,
like torrents of hail and snowy hills.
Ah, snow can be fun, though,
and you did warm me up
with hot cocoa and a blanket.
Thanks for your reviving comforts.
What I'm trying to say is
that I've missed you,
and I forgive you.
I hope you can forgive
my past as well.
I'm sorry about my negative attitude
and my disorganization.
We should go on walks more
and eat healthy meals together.
I promise I'll be kinder,
and I'll try to appreciate
all the good you offer me.
Can we now start anew?

Don'T Even Ask: Collaboration With Daniel Turner

Have you ever had one of those days
On the wrong side of the bed, bad days
When everything right went wrong

Cause the ding had lost it's dong
Ouch, Mr. Sun came peeking in
Up from bed and banged your shin
Leaky, full toilet overflowed
Damn, you stubbed your other big toe

Times like this: don't you love those days
Hardly anything seems to go your way?
Is little Johnnie turning green
Splat! Is that doggie ice cream?

Gas oven took a dump
Everyone’s oatmeal was in clumps
The kids were late AGAIN for school

Wasn’t that traffic cop a tool?
Oh, you should've just stayed in bed!
Rolled back over and called in dead…
Shoot! An hour late for work
Emptied Starbucks on your shirt

Dare you ask how this could get worse?
Others think you're such a jerk.
Next, the boss comes barging in
Tells you,"Look for work again"

Everything was going wrong
Vacation's gonna be a little long
Even your wife’s rope is at an end
Now she says, "Let's just be friends"

An asteroid fell from the skies
Smashed the beer between the thighs
Kick yourself for getting out of bed

Premium Member Farm Life At Dawn

As dawn starts to streak across the sky
heralding in the new born day.
Feisty rooster already perched on the wall
giving forth with all his might, he crows.

Sleepy hens, ducks and geese scat for worms.
Low moos emitting from the milking parlour
mingling with the sucking sounds of machines
as they gather the rich creamy milk in containers.

Banging of impatient hooves from the shire horses
hungry for their grain, tossing heads and stamping,
loud neighs and whinnies fill the early dawn.
Soon they will be at work ploughing and farrowing fields.

Farmhouse door opens smell of eggs and bacon wafting,
farmer's wife emerges carrying pails heavy with slops.
As she nears the pigsty the grunts and squeals grow
barging, pushing as they search for tasty scraps.

A caterwaul of noise from the rookery deafening,
as they wheel and spin around the yard thieving.
Slowly as the animals return to the sweet meadows
life settles back to normal, until tomorrows dawn.

Your Having a Giraffe

Just a normal Sunday sitting on my chair
When all of sudden in walked my auntie uncle Claire

What the hell you doing barging in like that??
He said your not going fu**ing believe it? I just ran over your Cat

I said the only pussy in this house is my other half,
We played a few drinking games and i beat him at charades
He soon ad enough of that tho so i pulled out deck cards then he stared moaning reckon the games i play are hard.

Well i had enough of his lip i couldn't take no more
so rubbed his face on cheese grater and now hes bloody sore.

Firing Squad

Take it away
Right now—see here…look here
Run into the light where one shadow casts an intent, lowly eye
Into the very heart of the storm, the words fall with might

You see a word and take sail as doubt and understanding foretell
A heartfelt message meant to destroy all that behold
Look here!
Crush the thoughts that bind you
The past that releases shards….murders of ravens
Pecking infidelity into your weakened visions
Forcing you to turn the other way and not listen
NOT listen
To the sounds of vibrant declaration driven from the blood of the lost
To the taste of defeat lathered in pride for the slowly dying sun
To the pinch of the skin upon the tethered limbs
Squeezing the wrists holding the ink
Releasing…releasing
The very blood that drives it!
That mind—how burdensome to the mass!
Crawling about for purpose
Searching—the best for last!
Firing squad!

Gone—

Sniveling snobs of insipient tact—obsessed with some artillery pact
Marveling at what sophisticated solidity can do to drive down a life
Move a herd of scared animals across a wasteland desired
Bile like the water source held back for the more important
Sniveling sad, chauvinist snouts tracing the secular age of rot
Eating everything they got
Wishing for what the sad ones hold on to
The only thing that keeps that eye dry
Take it away and words go awry
In chaotic monotony
Barging in matrimony
Forcing the impaired to repair
Kindling a fire already put out by your thoughtless glare
Curse this burdensome mind of the masses!
Curse the unpainted lines that omit from my very lips!
As I read every scourging fire bolt out
All one sees is the words protruding out
From a heart so bitter by bitter alone
Trusting in the meter, the rhyme, the tone!
I left the earth too far to return!
Fresh! Lowly, but fresh!
Immanent in high regard TO THE OPPRESSED

Take it away
Right now—see here…look here
Run into the light where one shadow casts an intent, lowly eye
Into the very heart of the storm, the words fall with might

A burdened firing squad faced a mirror
And shot blindly
Through fear

Negative Thoughts

Negative Thoughts
Making me dizzy
You generate misery
Barging in on me constantly
Just when I become happy ,
You invade again...
The permanent smile becomes fake

Negative Thoughts
- Useless Utter
Haunt me all around the clock
Push in without a knock

Alone with these thoughts
Now my head hurts,
Distress
Overdosing
Doubts ... Regrets

Inability to comprehend my knowledge
Composition of my mind becomes shattered
Everything seems wrecked
Where is the intellect?

No control over you...
I'm forced to Resist a chance that might benefit
Too many tricks are being played on me.

Second voice
Sais stop it
Enhances
Come on think positive ,
No ,on purpose you cause the worry,
You are still there you haven't vanished...

Tear of My Eyes

Tears of my eyes By Saiful Haq

Barging in with your stolid lies,
Firing gun amidst the corporate noise,
Cadging peace with my shuddering eyes,
Thee looked for the tears of my eyes.

Pariah ; you were once before,
Thee was the subject of deplore,
Abhoring humanity caring none who dies,
Thee looked for the tears of my eyes.

Once thee were an erudite scholar,
Debased by the leash on thy collar,
Sharing the same fate are the terrorist guys,
Thee looked for the tears of my eyes.

Thy plan turned out to be discursive,
As the Security authorities chided the offensive,
Witnessing the world of love, hate and lies,
None can see the tear of my eyes.

A Foolish Wish of a Non-Blue-Blooded Queen

Lynn, the tom-boy of Herald Square, couldn't be compared to Princess
Diana, or a similar one for finesse to perfectly fit in a royal scene;
that ordinary gal had a foolish wish of a non-blue-blooded Queen,
who rarely smiled, or said, " Thank you. " when they offered her a rose.
Her dad knew people in high places that loved green,
and he wanted her to look good to get more praise
and attention by squandering lots of money
on a wedding, not worth the social status and the stupidity;
to the wedding ceremony no royalty came only family and friends...
you would have had the impression that Queen Elisabeth
would have walked into the hall and congratulate her!
Eh, wasn't that a foolish wish of a non-blue blooded Queen?
Folks, don't nod in disapproval, the story gets better as it should;
the guests waited outside Saint Patrick's the Cathedral expecting a limousine...
not quite so! The royal coach pulled by two gray horses stopped at the curb,
the bride zoomed out dragging along the broom, not allowing him to greet anyone;
someone shouted, " Pretty boy, what's her rush? Why is she so jealous? He stared
at that upset gal and muttered, " Sorry " while his left ear was being pinched hard.
Bear with me a little bit longer, the best is yet to come, enjoy this comedy!
" Idiot! Idiot! Don't embarrass me!" Gino whispered...
" I shouldn't embarrass you in front of Miss Universe? "
" I will marry you...for worse, not for better! " Lynn vowed with madness,
and barging in, she forgot to pick up her wedding dress and tripped
and fell on her butt sliding down the isle while onlookers were filled with incredibility...
then she ran out stepping on Cardinal Cooke's foot who was returning from a wake!
The wedding was called off, and Gino was reproved by his mom for his mistake.
After reading my drama, who would have a foolish wish of a non-blue-blooded Queen?
Making drastic changes by acting on foolishness, doesn't make one look so keen.

Tales of the Lone Wanderer 2

Found the G.E.C.K and a genius super mutant named Fawkes
It's the lone wanderer, were their truly any doubts
On his way back, the enclave stun him cold
It's the lone wanderer, they must truly be bold
He wakes up to the face of the man that murdered his father and his dream
The lone wanders promises to severe the head from this fiend
They made a mistake and set him free
He lets off some steam and goes on a killing spree

Hoping to find the fiend, instead he finds a computer
It claimed to be president Eden, the leader of the future
The lone wanderer couldn't believe the stupidity
It gave him the F.E.V virus and claimed it was the best for humanity
The lone wanderer then remembers he found a self-destruct code
He told president Eden he was a whole
Laughing while he activates It's self-destruct mode

Running and gunning to his P.I.P boy radio
Listening to 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy' to fit the scenario
Turning Enclave soldiers into mashed potatoes
By the time he escaped the count down hit zero,
The lone wanderer stood in the background looking like a hero
Reunited with the genius super mutant Fawkes
They now have matching toys to take back to the house

Deciding to stick together for a noble cause,
They return to the Citadel after unloading a few hundred shots
The Brother Hood Of Steel commended them and gave them a round of applause
Time now to suit up and release a giant robot
'Now we take back the purifier!', Cried Sarah Lyons
'Take everything you can because only Enclave shall be dying'
The lone wanderer refuses their power armor and instead pulls out his Gatling gun
Him and Fawkes bump guns and are already for some fun
They rush through the gate behind the giant robot shooting a vertibird out of the sky
Running through the carnage seeing Talon mercs pass by

Barging through the front door of Jefferson's memorial
Spraying Enclave soldiers in a effortless tutorial
Beams from vengeance making clean incisions
Rapid is its fire with precise precision
Even if the lone wanderer had no vision
Fawkes and him could easily wipe out colonel Autumn's entire division
Now approaches colonel Autumn's final hour,
Without hesitation the lone wanderer draws his sword with power
Striking colonel Autumn dead and sour
Before his head rolls into the water,
The lone wanderer convinces Fawkes to play a little soccer

Premium Member To My Unborn Firstborn

It haunted me
Sedated me
Morning, noon and night
It blurred my sight.

Invisible to everyone
I was bogged by steam and fog
You could say I felt giddy
I was somebody, hidden by
Traumas barging in, and
Muted by old school sayings
Green stilled my mind
Though smooth chocolate was I.

The smell of salt and Sea
The sight of pastels on canvas of sky
Those fishermen casting nets, dawn and eve
The sound of seagulls fishing
The Caribbean Sea was near, yet foreign.

I was lone virgin, when
I called you forth as friend
Together, we'd strum cords of life
Surely, we would learn wrong from right.

I would love the color blue again
And savor perfume from wild flowers
And sea breeze
And share with you my past;
Each limit of view I knew.

Never again would I ingest loneliness
My future I'd share with you, my friend
I felt it in my bones.

Nestle in deep slumber the mighty Kublai dreams
of lapping cold milk, eating fresh meat, running wild
with hundreds of his doggie friends

Little Genghis shoots up from bed and darts out
running to room to room to sniff and search for what abouts
finding Kublai asleep on his fluffy pillow bed
He sniffs him gingerly and retreats under the adjoining chair

Peeking through the curtains a stream of sunlight
embraces the mighty Kublai and he stretches in place
sits himself up and has a good long yawn
He steps off his bed as if he was sleep walking
and within an blink of an eye

A snarl a flash a quick ten yaps, the little Genghis
is on the attack, he jumps he jives on Kublai hide
then just as quick he runs away and hides

Kublai stumbles back on his rump, shakes his sleepy heavy head
looks confused and tries again to stumble up-BUT
BOOM! the attack resumes happy growls awake you pal
as Genghis barks and snaps won't shut his trap
then just as sudden disappears

Kublai shakes it off, softly coughs and nudges his way back to bed
lies himself down with an irritable frown and lays down his sleepy head

Genghis purrs into a growl getting ready to pounce his pal
But I open a bag of doggie jerky treats
Kublai immediately stands on his four feet
Eyes wide open nose in the air, he zooms so fast without a care
Genghis planning another attack but with Kublai barging
gets slapped back, flipped over and rolls under the chair like a cat
Kublai will have no more of that
He greedily grabs his doggie treat
the taste of morning now so sweet
Little Genghis finally got it back
no more of his morning guerrilla attacks
Genghis gets his jerky treat runs and hides in defeat
Mighty Kublai licks his lips savors the flavor of treat he gets
What a way to begin my day nothing really left to say
no TV shows could bring me the joys
of the silly antics of my little morning boys

“Though grief burdens one, it may lessen in time. But like an ember it keeps smoldering and from time to time, may grow into flames, burning inside”
                                                                                 ~By Poet

Nothing remains
of a life lived together
in a world, once so full of beauty

Nothing remains
of those lovely evenings,
we rambled along the quiet country paths

Nothing remains of the twilight dusks
we listened to the invisible choir
singing for us in the descending dark

Nothing remains
of the whirlwind of love
when we rocked in gyrating motion

Nothing remains
of those blissful nights
we slept in each other’s warm embrace

Nothing remains
of the sweat we shed
to make a nest n’ feed our fledglings

Nothing remains
of the time tarried in anticipation
of our birdies returning to our nest

Nothing remains
of the times we dreamt
of magic kingdoms beyond our hills

Nothing remains
when existence was but a lovely dream
and from joy to joy uninterrupted we flew

Nothing remains
after the lid of the coffin shut
and my Love wheeled on a hearse!

How quickly life slid off its track
to immeasurable distances n’ spaces
landing me in an abyssal pit

How a winter of benumbing snow
has nudged its way
into every crack and cranny of my life

Now, I live a phantom under this roof
with awful memories barging in
like the marauding thieves!

How I search in vain
for those footprints, you have left
in the weed grown paths of my life

How I long to wash away
my grief in a surge of tears
trickling down my eyes

But Alas!
I cannot cry
My eyes are dry!
