Premium Member Banana Split

A banana split can be a work of art.
With the fruit cut lengthwise in half is where we start.
Three scoops of our favorite ice cream go on top.
Whatever flavor, use the cream of the crop.
On each scoop go toppings of pineapple, chocolate, and strawberry.
Above that go generous mounds of whipped cream and a cherry.
A split is good enough to change the most dour personality.
Serve up this treat, and see them become merry.

Split my banana and stuff it with cream
top with tantalizing treats to extreme
	nuts and silky sweetened balls
	gooey toppings form seawalls
nothing left out of a lover's wet dream

Banana Republic Appeal

Sunshine smile,
it Arctic enamel glows
Crescent grin tropical —
Antarctica guile

A bright yellow corona skin
is so cold-fusion tan Chernobyl
As Dictator icy wind snow blow,
Democracy curvature bend

Creamy sweet coin promises
of a silky, tubular tongue
Hanging from a lip bung,
monkey climbers can’t resist

Swing blade lo Banana Republic Appeal,
it’s a Tyranny meal force fed
Gulag sweet fruit flavor med
has a sick-o whet, ill monkeyshine feel

Premium Member Banana vs Orange

Written: February 23, 2024

                          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a grove, a feud grew, no doubt,
Fruit factions were ready to shout.
Banana sought peace,
But his pleas soon would cease,
As the orange kept stirring the route.
With a temper as fiery as flame,
Orange sought to bear Banana shame.
He shouted and yelled,
While Banana rebelled,
Trying to douse the feud's flame.
But Orange was relentless and mean,
His anger turned downright obscene.
He challenged Banana,
With no sign of mana,
Creating a chaotic scene.
Banana, in a last-ditch effort, pled,
"Let's put this feud to rest," he said.
But Orange just jeered,
And sneered as he neared,
Determined to jam Banana with dread.
Premium Member Banana Nut Bread Musings
Banana-nut bread
Sliced
Carried in the hand
All through the house
Crumbs
Dropped along the way
I wonder how long a mouse
Could survive on the crumbs
You would think
Slice, place on a plate
Get a fork
Sit down, eat and enjoy
But no
Carry it in the hands
All through the house
Is the best way to go
I know the mouse thinks so...
I have not seen a mouse in the house in a long time, but there always could be an uninvited guest roaming around at the quiet crepuscular time of day.
Premium Member The Banana Zeal
There once was a banana with zeal
Who loved to show off with great appeal
With a peel on the ground
It slipped, oh how it found
A rib breaking, a painful ordeal
I Am the Banana Tree
I AM THE BANANA TREE
I am the banana tree
That dwells where rivers meet ;
I am the banana tree
That dwells where sun lives;
On fertility I tower ; believe,
Your party hour has come
You shall now eat my fruits,
As these buds you see now
Shall wither not till fruits they become.
When they call me barren
And say I am fruitless and arid ;
They that once invaded my field
And carted away my buds,
I heed not their buzz ;
When they mock my torn leaves
And call me progenitor of scarecrow ;
They that once stowed their holds
Till cambers with my seeds,
I lend no ear ; when unschooled children
Call aleovera vegetable,do we blame them?
Their ignorance my knowledge
Though they don’t know me
I know who I am: sucker of millions nods.
My first pollination they arborted
When like gladiators they came
And destroyed my foliage like locusts
When they brought elephants to my garden
And scattered all my heaps and ridges
When they mutilated me like unedible snake
How so soon they forget that call me infertile !!!
 Thanks for procreation that multiplies my breed
And erects a signpost of my lavish fertility
In their Lady and Lord’s vineyards  forever.
Rejoice Africans;
Yours is not a barren womb
Rejoice, yours is not infertile -
I am the banana tree sprouting form the stump
Of  old flourished tree the wicked cruelly felled ;
The sepulchre is opened , my resurrection has begun
It is dawn of my accession , my glorious hour has come
Because I am the banana sucker, this a tree you see now
Shall tomorrow plantation become.
Anna Banana
Anna Banana liked to eat fruit,
fruit was her favorite of all other foods.
And of all other foods, she liked bananas best,
so all of her friends called her "banana head".
But Anna Banana was fine with this trait,
she ate her banana under the tree shade.
She ate her bananas all night and all day,
and smiled a smile that lit up the place.
And all of her friends took note of her mood,
and decided they wanted to smile like that too!
So they asked if they could have some of her fruit.
and she said "it's my favorite of all other foods!
-Yes, of all other foods, I like bananas best!"
and no one again called her "banana head",
they sat and ate bananas with her instead!
And that is the story of Anna, my friend.
..and this The End!
Banana Bread
Today my husband said ' I can really go for some banana bread'
But this is what I made instead.
A gallon of Sweet Tea.
A bowl of Green Pea's.
Turkey Club on whole wheat followed by Smoked Meat.
Corn on the Cob along with Broccoli Raab.
Chicken Wings. Shoe Strings.
Pineapple upside down cake. A chocolate Shake.
Baked Potato served with a Stuffed Tomato
Now my husband has a belly ache.
I don't think he likes it, when I bake.
Premium Member Banana Cream Pie
Banana Cream Pie I could eat by the barrel
My waistline would suffer, it's a losing battle
I could eat like a fly
Forego all that pie
And still I'd resemble some hefty beef cattle
Premium Member Banana Bread For Breakfast
He mows the lawn,
	doesn't every man?
He mops the kitchen,
	a gift of great value.
He shells pecans,
	saves the pith for me.
He roasts peanuts;
	we love peanuts!
He plants blackberries,
	brings them in a bucket.
He builds bird houses,
	cooks his own suet cakes.
He picks wildflowers,
	shows me where they grow.
He makes up our bed,
	most every day.
He bakes banana bread,
	serves it warm, with coffee.
You will notice, I sometimes
	wear a Cheshire grin.
Premium Member Banana Split Heaven
Banana Split Heaven
I'm in Banana Split Heaven, the ice cream parlor of my dreams,
Choosing extra toppings and three flavors of sweet ice cream.
A foundation of ripe bananas, served the purpose of a bed,
For my decadent dessert, topped with cherries of bright red.
I licked my lips in anticipation. Couldn't wait to greedily savor
Huge scoops of creamy goodness in all my favorite flavors.
Chocolate Moose Tracks, blended with cups of peanut butter,
In the center, Bordeaux Cherry. Mmmm, I drool and sputter.
Vanilla Raspberry Ripple is really quite sublime.
Now it's almost ready, and soon it will be all mine.
Lots of peanut sprinkles; sauces of hot fudge and caramel.
Fresh whipped cream is sinful.  Shhh, I will never tell.
Spoon after spoon, I pigged out and ate the whole dish.
Should I make one for you?   Heck Yes!   It sounds delish!
Banana Eating Roo -Limerick-
There once was a child from Canada
Who loved eating bananas,
He went to the zoo
Gave one to the roo,
Now the roo has a banana colored bandana.
