Banana Republic Appeal

Sunshine smile,
it Arctic enamel glows
Crescent grin tropical —
Antarctica guile

A bright yellow corona skin
is so cold-fusion tan Chernobyl
As Dictator icy wind snow blow,
Democracy curvature bend

Creamy sweet coin promises
of a silky, tubular tongue
Hanging from a lip bung,
monkey climbers can’t resist

Swing blade lo Banana Republic Appeal,
it’s a Tyranny meal force fed
Gulag sweet fruit flavor med
has a sick-o whet, ill monkeyshine feel

Such a graphic warning on climate change (that's how I read it) and the glib smile of those who deny science and the fragile future of our planet-

Gets worse than that, "democracy is as contradictory as is monotheism" and worst in Republican hands. Sorry for injecting politics in pure poetry Freddie. Shalom shalom

"it’s a Tyranny meal force fed" - it surely is! Happy New Year, my friend!

great line, Democracy curvature bend." Thanks and shalom, shalom Freddie (The system did not allow me to comment, hence my indulging on Caren's democratic rights and space)
