Best Attraction Poems
In the quiet glow of dawn,
Where shadows play and merge,
There she stands -
A vision, a muse, a silent whisper of desire.
Her beauty, an unspoken verse,
Crafting chaos within the tranquil heart.
Love, an unbridled wave,
Crashes against the shores of reason,
Where attraction, a relentless tide,
Pulls with the gravity of a thousand moons.
She moves, and the world seems to sway,
A delicate dance of light and grace.
Eyes, deep pools of mystique,
Drawing souls into depths unknown.
Her smile, a curve that sets the world aflame,
Lighting the dark alleys of longing.
In her presence, time fades,
A fleeting wisp in the wind,
Leaving behind the scent of blooming jasmine,
A memory etched in the essence of desire.
Attraction, a force beyond the grasp of minds,
Speaks in silent gestures and unspoken words.
In her, the epitome of beauty and grace,
A thousand sonnets find their muse.
Love, in its purest form,
Transcends the physical,
Finding solace in the beauty of her soul.
For in her laughter, in her gentle touch,
Lies the promise of dawn after the darkest night.
Yet, amidst this tempest of feeling,
A question lingers,
A whisper among the roaring winds of passion -
Does she perceive the depth of this attraction,
The magnitude of this love?
Or does she walk, unaware,
A beautiful dream,
Adored from afar,
A beacon of what could be?
In the silence that follows,
Only the heart knows true,
For in the realm of love and attraction,
Beauty is not merely seen,
But deeply felt,
A connection beyond the confines of the visible,
A dance of souls in the eternal waltz of existence.

Dedicated to My Inspiration, Timothy Lee
Joy harnessed from soft internal lightness
was pulse promised with attraction’s might
and sealed blissful bound by our first kiss …
with lips our hearts found their home address
Our emotive blessings deafen my questions
and ease my perception’s limitations
for you are my parceled Eden freedom …
our haven structure is couple completion
I chose marbled strength upheaval plans
that thru change I might someday know your name
and realize you like I breathe in nature …
no matter your season, it reaps my pleasure
For the first time in my heart’s entire life
I’ve no need to incite change thru strife’s design
and limp again within my dreams scorched rubble
to find my soulmate while my pains struggle
Mind over matter
It seems the mind
is more forgiving
than the matter
Love at first sight
Magnets inseparable
Believing true love could
Conquer anything
but anything butt up against matter
Hard enough Long enough
turns out
is enough is enough
for matter to shift
Attraction becomes Repulsion
leaving
Mind over matter
The mind forgiving
matter not forgetting
Both hoping time will heal the wounds
I cannot help feeling the way that I feel
or doing the things that I do;
acting the way I'm not supposed to.
For I have not the discipline to do so.
Your presence is powerful, and intense..
it overwhelms me completely
and takes control of me.
For that moment, it's an eternity.
I am rendered helpless..
in a state of mind in which I cannot think
clearly, nor focus or believe
in anything other than you.
Everything that I have learned.
Everything that I have built myself upon
has vanished. No rules or religion can
deter me to think otherwise.
I am at your mercy,
whether your intent was to do so or not;
it's how I feel, and it's how I am
when I'm with you.
Witty
Brave
Brilliant
Charming
Charismatic
Hypnotic smile
With sense of humor
I’m always up
For an intellectual massage
If you’re offering

I heard it said once
That attractive to an artist
Does not mean "pretty"
In the average sense
But more something that
Is interesting to look at
And makes you want to
Keep looking
To him, I can look for hours
And want to keep looking
He is the color burnt umber
Like coffee and cream
And purest black ink
Not blue-black, or brown,
But the undiluted purity
Of a spilled ink-pot
Shaped by the delicate curve
Of a calligraphy brush
Into perfectly, haphazardly
Beautiful curls, erratic and
Bold
And his eyes
Those eyes
Like coffee, taken
Without cream or sugar
But turned amber by sunlight
And sweetened by laughter
Making what might have been
Intimidating, with their darkly
Charcoaled outline that
Marks them as Arab
Instead as sweetly inviting
As the warm half-light of dusk
And so addictive
I've been looking for hours
And I want to keep looking
When did you first fall in love with me...
anticipation of miracle and wet wonder in her immaculate smile,
A blizzard of rose petals and blood riddles swirl within my heart
it seemed like an impossible question to answer,
it was so long ago, yet it feels like it was just a moment ago,
when did beauty become a purpose...
when did passion first pulse on virgin lips...
When I first felt...
the impassioned poetry of your womanhood,
the strike of your passion wrath upon my manhood,
when I first saw...
how your eyes of lioness scorch blazed a grin of gusto on my face,
how you crowned me King of Virility with your ultra sweet gasps,
when I realized...
that my mouth of nocturnal nurture could be your medicine,
that the landscape of my love would be the sanctuary of your dreamscape,
I asked her with a happy urge,
When did you first fall in love with me...
with a dance of wilderness on her voice she answered,
When your poetry gave me faith in my heart...

FATAL ATTRACTION
-------------------------
His lucent light illumines her eyes
His face outshines the sun
His ethereal beauty unveils the skies
Her vibrant vision swiftly succumbs
Her silenced tongue, his intimate touch
His intangible hands sliding/slithering
Spiraling down with a gentle glide
Her body cold and shivering
His fiery eyes ignite a flame
Her attention he gains as she stares
Their lips entwine, his blissful rapture
Devours her heart from cares
Encapsulated, she can't escape
He clutches her in his arms
Her safe haven, her wedded love
His pearl preserved from harm
Her beating heart, a decelerate speed
Her aperture devoid of breath
His succulent waters drown her tongue
Compelling her closer to death
Solitary seclusion, her world in diffusion
Subverts her mind, subtracts her understanding
He gains her trust, thrusting utter confusion
Rest assuring her of a safe landing
She drowns herself to ceaseless sleep
In his grasp from detouring distractions
At her beauteous site, he rejoices and weeps
Absorbed in her FATAL ATTRACTION
at long last the time has come
when beautiful lovers meet
the scent of deep purple blooms
calls to butterfly
on wings of gold black and blue
wafting irresistibly
to the vivid fragrant source
in days of honey
at the hour of aught shadows
when hope and joy is soaring
deep blue skies smile graciously
on nature's wild ways
Souls roaming about
relevance echoed in Hearts
minds filled to the brim.
Aspirations ever sparked
alive in the shrine of Life.

In the serene solitude of your slumbers,
You’ll dream of me forever and ever.
For there, with my enigmatical looks,
I’ve been haunting you
From the first day you’ve seen me.
You have so often wondered at that look
that draws you to look so intently in my eyes.
I see you watching in the shade
Of that lovely gazebo in the garden.
You try to focus on my soulful eyes,
I notice your intense use
Of your make-ups of your black dark eyelashes,
Yet it is that exquisite pearl necklace that I love.
It draws all your wanton attention.
You look at a large diamond ring
Flashing it in the filtering sunbeams.
Oh stop looking at these gaudy trifles
Nor must you concern yourself about me.
Just look into my mesmerizing eyes.
Concentrate on my face all lit up,
Admire the light on my sweet kissing lips,
And don’t dare compare them
To that aloof Mona Lisa’s smile.
One day, when I’ll come to you
In the serene solitude of your slumbers,
And I’ll show you how a kiss should be.
Tina’s Fatal Attraction
With kid gloves Tina loved to play
When hubby was working away
She got a surprising fright
When he came home early one night
Instead of a fight
Off went the lights
Grabbing her lover’s clothes from the floor
While hubby was unlocking their apartment door
Lover boy was shoved to the window by his rump
With a bump and a shove pointing out she told him to jump
B-u- t w- h- y not hide you live on the thirteenth floor was his cry
Don’t get superstitious on me now, jump was her reply

Flitting
from blade to blade,
is that a leaf I see-
no,no a butterfly,happy
and free.
Curtains drawn drawing me in
past trinkets left as mementoes
reaching for stars and moments
filled with honeydew kisses
keepsakes kept inside
Sugared apple blossom scents
fill the void nowhere left to hide
scarlet petals wrapped in wonder
float atop the steamy waters
of a long lost one act play
Reflection of sated imperfection
staring into an open invitation
robes dropped but fearing a
cold shoulder a twist of fate
a simple smile can sedate
Pockets full of daisies held
the journey into futures
untold whispers in the breeze
putting a worried mind at ease
reliving a childhood dream
A palpable hovering haze
of intention or expectation
hangs in the silence
Avoiding the issue of attraction
As it weighs burdensome
On the lightheartedness of friendship
And its virtue of affection
Subtle yet really hardly so
Stubbornly refusing to name itself
And come out in the light
Somehow ashamed of its own existence
Yet here we are already in the What If
