Premium Member A sentance to avoid'

Be aware of a verb, thats emerging..From an Aussie, it has been formed, And its Now surging.' Quite
Descriptive and gritty, Aimed first off at canberra
City, where the originals (are said to be spawned?)
You don't need its description, its scar is real hard old friend' a strong
Valediction.' Of how low? You are thought in your descend.' It sends a shiver through men, and even the
Ladies.' This is way worse; than that vile
Jab..But here now I'll give it a stab' ya'know even; blind freddy will make a run, if it trends..He truly fears it.' would rather
Remain blind.' than to hear it..Mates stay awake
And your honour defend.' Be a drunk, be a druggie, thief
Or even a thuggie.' But never a TWOT..Here i' stand as
Your mate to the end.'

In-House Pachyderm

Too large to avoid everyone knows it's here
not wishing to collide they won't stand too near
nor broach the subject they keep it under wraps
Mum's the word keep it under your hat
they all walk 'round it talk around it
they're not blind so what gives
it's unkind to animals and who wants to live
with an elephant in the room
too large to evade it's something they ignore
not wanting to impede but can't close the door
a line they won't cross they'll avoid it at all costs
just sit there and stare
even sweep it under the rug with a broom
but with lumps and bumps that big
how long can they keep on pretending it's not there
the elephant in the room

Premium Member I avoid doctors

Premium Member keeping busy to avoid grief

zealously busy was young widow Kim
frenzied activities to not think of him
she painted her house pink on a giant whim
he came to her in her dreams, her true love, Jim.

To Avoid Carnal Knowledge, Daphne Turns into an Oak

What’s happening is clearly understood.
Apollo has one hand around her waist,
one predator, one quarry, interlaced.
He’s coming up behind her (which is good),
but she’s a tree (two lovers, getting wood!)
She’d rather change her state than be disgraced,
preferring to be chaste than to be chased.
She’s choosing abstinence, above life's blood.
Is love a trauma, to be undergone?
Arousal something ugly, to be faced?
Should Nature’s process be looked down upon?
The carnal act, a tactless lapse of taste?
Or might the thing be ardently embraced?
We, formless fragments, merging in The One?

Premium Member Desirable Truth

The old facts lie, the old truth dies
Everything needs update
The new facts open our eyes
Revisionism is great
New lemming-minded must observe
This harsh reality
The world we thouroughly deserve
Our ancestors couldn’t see
So after cleaning it looks fine
This good old brave new world
Its pharisees and philistines
Its glorified absurd
What’s new, looks old, and in reverse
Its all the same, my dear
The truth enacts with inner source
Of deepest secret fear
In order to avoid the bad
Consequences we see
We drink more wine, and eat less bread
Watching the tides at sea.

Premium Member I Avoid Exaggerators

Another farfetched story from Helen Louise
Bizarre, fantastique, grotesque if you please
Eccentric and strange, decidedly *****
I ran out screaming, for embellishers I fear

I will avoid the aggravation

I will avoid the aggravation
I will work for a couple hours
For my Father
AIso I will write a few poems
For my father today
I will no longer kill myself
With work
I will go to bed
Early every single night
So that I can get a proper night sleep
I won't forget to pray for my father
Before I go to bed

Bees' Busyness

bothered
by their stingers
still I relish honey
better bypass bees' busyness
buzz off

Premium Member Can We Avoid It?

Don't you understand what I'm trying to say
Can't you feel the fears I'm feeling today?
If the button is pushed, there's no runnin' away
There'll be no one to save with the world in a grave
Take a look around you boy, it's bound to scare you, boy
From “Eve of Destruction” by Barry McGuire

Can We Avoid It?

The genie is out of the bottle.
It cannot be put back.
The Doomsday Clock is closer to midnight.

Iran is closer to the bomb.
“Death to America and Israel”
Israel can retaliate in kind.

India and Pakistan
Can annihilate each other
With mushroom clouds of death.

The incompetent Russian military
Continues to stumble and fall
Putin now rattles his nuclear sword.

Once the button is pushed
There is no running away
No one will be left to save

Let us fervently pray we can avoid it!

Premium Member avoid the abductors car

women disappear
daily in America

helpless and hopeless

dont be a victim

MISTAKE TO ALWAYS AVOID IN LIFE

Mistake to always
 avoid in life :

To hate a person
who hates you.

Don't forget that he
"she" knows that
You are better
than him" her."

Only a person
who hates you
Speaks lies about
you the most.

Yes
       Yes
                Yes.

Why not loving
those hating
you terrible?

why hating
those loving
you so much?

a person who loves you
Speaks the truth about
you mostly
Which can heal
 your wounds
or hit your heart
 daily.

Premium Member Avoid the Pumpkin Carrier

pumpkin carrier is on his way
he is evil and crafty in many a way
we were scared before we saw his eyes
but he was a her, a big surprise

do not be fooled, the well-warner said.
pumpkin carrier is not right in her head
she will spin your feelings and ideas too
giving you new ones from windows and flue

avoid her eyes, they are magical through and through
she will bore into your soul through your eyes so blue
she is just over the hill, do not let her look straight at you
now I have to go the well-warner said and away she flew.
