Dear World, I bring no Banner—
No trumpet for the brave—
But only hands grown weary
Of teaching hands to wave—

Let every border soften
Where frightened hearts divide—
And may the stranger's sorrow
Find shelter at our side—

The Earth has borne our thunder
Through cities turned to flame—
Yet still She gives us harvests
And calls us each by Name—

So let us choose the gentler—
The mercy we withhold—
For Peace begins so quietly—
One Heart—then another—held.

Premium Member Here now this morn

minuscule ripples of thoughts
attentively present yet absent
contoured by softened senses
keep track of love’s bliss scent

the soul star chakra is vibrant
having superseded the crown
though in truth labels dissolve
when in lake of bliss we drown

magnetism enlivened stillness
as rapture that is here to stay
epitomises our state of being
in this body urn made of clay

ardent awareness animated
dances to vibrance of heart
inking the universe with bliss
as a vibrational work of art

Night sky so bright

Every night, the sky speaks its star language,
More often, I am carried away at sight,
To learn its colored, cool and bright message.
If I had listened attentively right,

I would have discovered how stars do move.
If I had study enough grace it shares,
I would have embrace the moon's beauty groove,
And the undaunted brightness it ensnares.

I only learnt the brightness of the moon,
And the sparkling little light of the stars,
That celebrate how its shining lights croon,
Its absence on lonely moon's skin: smooth scars.

Beauty of the night may bring a deep fright,
A miss will be a guise heightened contrite.

Premium Member Anticipation

It's time to play, your chance to tease,
massage my mind and gently squeeze.
Seductively, you'll dance for me,
attentively, you're all I'll see.

Your tempered touch will fuel my dreams,
invade my world, ******* my screams.
My blood will rush, my body yearn
to taste your heat, sizzle and burn.

Your whispered words will scream and shout,
your tongue will probe, your lips will pout.
You'll fondle flesh and slowly strip,
your fingers will splay, stroke and dip.

You'll take my passion deep inside,
unleash your hunger, own the ride.
We'll fight fatigue's ferocious kiss,
all guns blazing... We'll die of bliss.

Ruthless Rose

Words sweeten her ears attentively right;
Pen twisted her take effectively bright-
To write heart's choice off measure,
When tongue could bring on pleasure...
Brighten up wandering eyes' search cum weird night.

Premium Member Listen To The Wind

"In silence, the wind shares it's most intimate secrets"--quote by poet.

Standing at the edge of a sandy shore
Looking out to sea as I listen to
Incessant cries of " Come to me, come to me;"
I watch the ebbing tide obey the beach wind.

Oh, I listen attentively to the wind!
In the wintertime, it roars to me..."Stay in!"
        I hear it whisper it's tightly-held secrets
To trees; secrets it rather I keep to myself.

          The autumn wind is music to my ears;
It ever so gently tinkles the wind chimes
Hanging above my head in the balcony.
My spirit dances with abandon to its song!

Knowing the fiercely blowing wind carries
Their wondrous songs far, nightingales and robins
Cheerfully tweet out their best at daybreak.
Birds do listen to the voices of the wind.

Pelicans migrating south at summer's end
Hear the whirling wind whisper..."Bon Voyage"
Out in nature, I love listening to the wind.

FATHER CHILDREN FAMILIY

Love really exists
Caring reciprocal love
Father, children, happy family...

Father of the earth, you are beautiful
created in magnificence
graciously gifted by God
to give yourself to your children in love!

Father, exemplary man, strong
husband and royal protector,
crucial support and support...

Gently but attentively,
father warns; daughter, don't play at the table!
"Father, I'm recording, I'm not playing."

Calm, transparent pond...
ducklings learn to swim!
Father duck, watch carefully...!

Every father, patiently
like a mother similarly
of his children is a teacher

Peace Holds Trouble At Woman's Subtle Cheek

Peace holds trouble at woman's subtle cheek:
Pale, inviting and warm enough to kiss
Attentively with regards, seeming freak.

Shielded close to her open lips, eyes seek
Patiently... so moment goes not amiss,
Peace holds trouble at woman's subtle cheek.

On top her chest's fountain lies tips so meek,
Choice could travel its miles without a hiss,
Attentively with regards, seeming freak.

Labelling tricks mouth could parade at streak,
Palm could turn on... over silent tigh's bliss,
Peace holds trouble at woman's subtle cheek.

How wet dragging lips put bed in shock, creak!
Out of baffling gestures... wish she resists,
Attentively with regards, seeming freak.

Reaching out on moment, desires bespeak...
To an endless but deep dreamland- abyss;
Peace holds trouble at woman's subtle cheek,
Attentively with regards, seeming freak.

Soul-Searching

Sitting attentively on a rickety park bench
My thoughts are as deep as an ocean trench
People scurrying aimlessly about their daily lives
In time, they’ll fade too, among the archives

I notice a young family, a dog and a cat
After drawing a last breath, what awaits after that?
Billions departed throughout the lineage of man
Bygone times, forgotten lives; been quite the span.

What is the meaning of life in this place?
Why have some never shared a loving embrace?
How many souls have meandered here?
Each with their own struggles to persevere

Who shall soar to heaven and who shall not?
Will some scorch in hellfire in flames molten hot?
Are we amid a spiritual war for our soul?
The weight of such questions takes its toll

I pray that together; we can make it in the end
To a realm without fear, we’ll blissfully ascend
The righteous, the tainted, and all in between
In a land of eternal peace, pure and serene

Backward is forward

Wake
The ever present enemy
Overbearing and oppressively
Shadowing expectantly
As forethought always secondly
Two minds hang suspended be
Interrupting thoughtlessly
Relentless and attentively
Aressting so effectively
Contented is left restlessly
Thrashed into docility
Numbing the auxiliary
Concerning such complacency
Overwhelming this tranquillity
Resolute in the obscurity
Abstracting absurdity
With Orchestrated entropy
Worn out by pacificity
Sleep

Premium Member Listen attentively when she speaks to you

Listen attentively when she speaks to you,
Understand the hidden depths of her feelings,
If you’ve made a mistake, apologize sincerely,
And let each word heal her wounded heart.
But if she wishes to end things, do not let her go,
Ask her to stay and promise you will change,
When she’s angry, offer her the space to calm down,
And show her you’re there, an unwavering anchor of support.
When she’s happy, share in her joy,
Celebrate the love that unites your hearts,
And if she’s confused, be patient and kind,
Gently guiding her to a clearer mind.
In the silent dance of my thoughts, I get lost,
For love is an ocean of emotions that binds us,
Each verse is an attempt to understand the mystery,
Where words are bridges over vast silences,
And in the depths of each shared moment,
Lies the essence of what it means to love,
To be there, always, in every moment of searching and finding,
In a world where hearts seek and find each other,
Where love is an unwritten, lived poem,
A continuous stream of consciousness that unites souls.

Premium Member Stillness

sans volition
attentively noticing
the rising and subsiding
of thoughts and sensations
within this body-mind apparatus
void-centric awareness remains still
poised in an equipoise continuum
as the screen of consciousness
alive in the field of singularity
imbibing and assimilating
offerings of earth life

Premium Member The Geranium

Her soft pink petals are invitingly fresh and bright
Next to many others displayed in colors that delight
She sits and patiently awaits on greenhouse shelves
And prays she is soon chosen, as her heart swells

She smiles as the morning sunlight warms the air
As her earthy scent wafts and attracts with flair
Her magenta blooms are lightly covered in mist
Her petals stir, welcoming the moist dew kiss

She hopes the sweet geranium lady will soon be here
Then soon hears her voice as she's getting near
Her petals whimsically gleam as her growing stems invite
As she sits attentively waiting, feeling proud and sprite

She feels her pot lifted from the crowded greenhouse floor
Delighted she was chosen and excited for what's instore
Her feet are now planted at her new home in a beautiful pot
Displayed amongst her blooming friends in a bright cool spot

She smiles as the morning breeze tickles her new blooms
And her sweet lady admires her beauty and fresh perfumes
She vows to zealously grow, with her petals blooming strong
In hopes her blooms deliver delightful gifts all summer long

BEAUTY AND UGLINESS

          Beautiful is not so pretty
for those who only see defects
         ugliness is not so horrible
      when seen attentively and willingly
