That which once was and can no longer be,
a vision once seen you can no longer see.
When described as a thought, a memory,
or a seed or seedling if it is a tree.
The beginning of something the world now calls me!

Aspects
of life are
fleeting appearances
which are already
but may seem
to be now and
perhaps saved for
an identification~
an aspect

The fearless soldier with a glowing and youthful look
aims his rifle toward his enemy behind the barrack,
while thoughts are focused on practical and clever survival;
the concept of horrifying death is as distant as imminent hell!
The voluptuous gal with artful fingers massages his client's body,
to her wishes are paid in hefty sums to satisfy her corporal desires;
morality has been replaced by want, nothing will deny her pleasures:
does incurable disease make her worry and go back to a life of purity?
The peachy-cheeked girl gently picks up the fragile petals of blue lilies
dispersed by gusty blows of rageful wind swooping above and around her;
she should be outraged and find a calmer meadow amid the lively hills:
no whim smears with anger her charming smile adorned by hair so fair!
The newborn baby, pulled from his mom womb, emits a scream into light,
there's no happier mother caressing him, nurturing him with sweetness;
life offers joys and awful moments, while death offers pervasive fears:
between these two stands immortality as conceived by religion, not fact!

It’s Easter time again.
The faithful celebrate
sweet Resurrection Day.
The message moves us all.
We worship, sing, and pray.
It’s Easter time again.
Now, bless this scrumptious feast.
Line up and grab a plate.
The kids’ event is next,
and they can hardly wait.
It’s Easter time again.
The bunny came last night
with treats for every child.
Now hunt those pastel eggs.
The kids are running wild!
It’s Easter time again.
Experiencing both
the fun and holiness
creates great memories.
This day, the Lord will bless.

Floral aspects of my life blooming in front of me
like wallpaper memories of my pink room
The smell of loose leaf hugging a red leather binder
flourishes underneath the sunlit words
of my young maiden's hand;
Looping letters that show the romantic side of me
small caricature vowels and nouns
that reveal the private parts that are never seen
Blushing mornings that drench the violets
in that little garden where father kept his vines
Quiet evenings spent in my room
talking to a Statue, "reflection of a Mystic soul"
I was so many girls back then, but today I am only one
A seasoned writer with who lives and strives
despite the world's demise.

The U.S. Army has embraced Critical Race Theory
Day-long classroom sessions -- dogmatic, dreary
Soldiers' eyelids closing, getting dreary
One is loudly snoring, name of O'Leary
The bell rings, all revive ~ once more cheery
No class tomorrow! Off to War vs. Iran, dearie

If given we are told and lead
to believe
That no 2 people not even
identical twins
Are the same
Then why on earth could
anyone think we are bound
to get along
And in any way be somehow
shocked we can not even
agree on the simplest most
important issues
Such as respecting a difference
of opinion without it descending
into violence and recriminations
I often think given we we're are
the only species gifted with the
gift of speech opposable thumbs
and fingers
Then how when it comes to conflict
resolution we lead with fingers pressing
triggers not our brain to have the
final say on proceedings
Rather than use the power of speech
to save countless lives from enduring
the insanity of war
And grieving aftermath that ensures
Other than that we have been
taught and learned nothing
from history
Apart from the fact that the
sword is the chosen weapon
of choice and mightier than
the word

intricate outlines
shapes,
ornate spirals
opulence
shaded
to perfection:
a virtuoso
indulgence,
in
fragments
of light&
dark:
a surface
unbidden
freely
appears..
in relief
sensations
generated
upon the eye..
opening
a door into
my mind

Aspects Of Expression
All in all,
In aspects of expression,
I am still.
I am small,
Like the indiscretion
Of being ill.
Yet there's a wall,
Or at least the impression
Of uphill.
And I fall,
Into silent regression
I spill.
Sometimes I call
From the deep depression
That I fill.
Where I stall,
Before the transgression
Of the kill.
With the wherewithal
To be luminescent,
But not the will.
And despite it all,
In aspects of expression,
Tranquil.

within the aspects of our being
Within the aspects of our being
Thirsty in the desert
Alone within our aloneness
For seeing eyes veiled within
The darkened rain
Ravaged in its restoration
Memories bound
Conditions turn
Existing open hearts
With our open minds
To brightened days ahead
To see the thousand wellsprings
Open up as clouded eyes again
Trampled grass beneath our feet
Springs back again in
all its new beginnings

A time when signs increase
Some are brought level
Poison flows from Fukushima
Ecology and diversity drop
Comets show their aspects
Time to realise, determine
See the changing seasons

Life isn't always what you may expect
Some people are nice others will disrespect
Life is always full of adventures
But everything comes with the ups and downs
Living up to expectations may be hard at times
Other times your critics are your best friend
You never know what to expect, things will occur
Sometimes you'll end up being a great success
But to achieve you must overcome all fears
Times of joy will always shed to tears
As living to experiences you'll never know what's next
With every pitch you manage to dodge the worst
To overcome with pride you shall succeed

I LEFT YOU WITHOUT SAYING GOODBYE LEAVING YOU WITH TEARS IN YOUR EYES.
I DIDN'T EVEN TELL YOU WHY FEARING THAT YOU WOULD NEVER LOVE ME ANYMORE.
I DIDN'T ALLOW YOU TO MAKE ME HAPPY I DIDN'T ALLOW YOU INSIDE MY HEART.
NOW THE PAIN IS KICKING IN AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN ALL YOU EVER DID WAS TRY TO LOVE ME.
BUT I SHUT YOU OUT AND LEFT YOU ASTRAY I ASK MYSELF WHY DID I LEAVE YOU THIS WAY.
I RAN LIKE A COWARD AND I WAS SCARED TO BE WITH ANYONE LIKE YOU I WAS USED TO COLD AS ICE
INSTEAD OF SOMEONE WARM AND NICE THESE FEELINGS I HAVE ALLOWED TO CONTROL ME.
I GOT SO TIRED OF BEING MADE A FOOL OF BY SO MANY AND LEFT OUT IN THE DUST TO DRY.
BURNING IN THE HOT SUN LIKE A FISH FRY NOW I AM SINKING IN THIS MISERY PIECES ARE FALLING APART.
ALL BECAUSE I HAVE SHUT OFF MY HEART.
