How does Mondo while the time up there,
As he soars high in the sky of blue?
Why, he visits Mary Poppins there,
Along with clouds, and lovely birds too.
I sat, uninspired, in my condo.
When on TV, no routine John Doe
Flew above a balloon
And then over the moon,
That amazing pole vaulter, Mondo.
there was a man
a small man
-a little man
-a tiny man
a small little tiny
man who found a-tiny-small-little-something
he pulled on it -and realized it had give
he pulled -this stretchy-little-small-tiny
thing and it kept stretching this was when the
small man - who was a flimflam man after all
realized he had a workable-fraud
realized he had found something
big -really-big it was more than a
stretchy band it was a movement
one he’d sstretchh beyond one’s expectations
you could recognize him -by his large
*mouth - and by his *tiny little hands
*optional
you may fill in the word *filthy before mouth
or before tiny or both as you please -please
armand~
but i wouldn’t fault you words spilling from a loose connection
i forgive the negative
they are tied to your artistic temperament
your heart
translucent
exposes wires tattered and frayed
a myriad of internal cuts and bruises
i can hold such damage
with barely a touch
soothe the gnawing of varmints uninvited
draw out a collage of smiles
patiently waiting to adorn
the you i see
i can draw your laughter
deep and resounding
i can love you unconditionally
for better or for worse
be that handy little light
one carries to duel the dark

He died as he lived
Without making waves
Without fanfare
A simple man
A humble man
A loving husband
And devoted father
A man of principles
Of integrity
A dreamer
A macgyver
Determined
To live with integrity
And harmony
At peace with both
Living and dying
Ready to meet His Maker
Leaving with a promise on his lips
To keep over us a watchful eye

Tall and handsome was super Armand
Younger days spent in a music boyband
Older he graduated to a heavy rock band
With the stage name of “Collapsin’ Grandstand”
Last summer Armand took a cruise trip to Greenland
Because that was his deep rooted fatherland
Then a hop a skip and a jump over to Iceland
Tagging on a visit to his sweet motherland
He thought this’d be much better than Disneyland
For here his music was in most popular demand
Confirmed in all papers at any newsstand
Heard it many a time and it was easy to understand
Fans cheered and danced at the band’s command
Everyone in attendance had a time that’s grand
Always had a bigger crowd than planned
All felt like they had reached the Holy Land
Never accused of being underhand or bland
Every night in the middle of Armand’s handstand
The crowd wildly cheered for “Collapsin’ Grandstand”
Too hilarious to see how would jump to attention every stagehand

For Armand Who Is Far Beyond
Was needed in one way but another
In one he life was like no other
In other out the door stampeded
Because he was no longer needed.
Where in life would he ever be
By us we should see him equally
He had your best interest at heart
But now you both are miles apart.
What happened is subject to change
Requires that things you re-arrange
Over and over, time again and again
So you may more comfortably fit in.

She’s as dry as a woman can be
No longer wet from dribbling wee
She’s got 'Tom' in her pants
She can run, she can dance
No more leaks, she is now so carefree

Silver haired sage with a golden tongue
Sixty years of wisdom has been gained
Today's the day his praises are sung
Body and mind have been fully trained
He sees the planet in his own way
Sixty years of wisdom has been gained
Living with purpose able to play
Passion is the special gift he gives
He sees the planet in his own way
He chooses simple in the way he lives
People more important than anything
Passion is the special gift he gives
Happy Birthday together we sing
Everyone has their time to be loved
People more important than anything
Heart that's open a hand ungloved
Silver haired sage with a golden tongue
Everyone has their time to be loved
Today's the day his praises are sung
Dedicated to my friend Armand Delisle
