So, and so, or so

So creeped out by my own ideas,
So I am so bad as I seemed, because
So and so said so, and
So and so sees it, and I'm
So scared to be what I'm scared of, what
So and so is said to be, what is
So so bad, so bad as it seems, she's
So creeped out said so and so, and
So scared to see it for so long, and
So and so said so, with
So and so and so and so, so
So so so so so so so.
So very much done with this.

Premium Member If I Were Your Smartphone

If I was your smartphone
You would talk to me for hours
If I was your smartphone
You would hold me and make sure I was safe
If I was your smartphone
You would keep me close and check on me often
If I was your smartphone
You would trust me and ask me for help
If I was your smartphone
You would rely on and be grateful for me
If I was your smartphone
You would be excited when I sought your attention
If I was your smartphone
You would make sure my battery was charged
If I was your smartphone
You would play games with me and think I was fun
If I was your smartphone
You would whisper into my ear and share your secrets
If I was your smartphone
Imagine all the wonderful times we would share
If only
I was your smartphone

These Hallowed Fields

The crack of the bat,
The roar of the crowd,
The smell of the earth,
In these hallowed fields.

The taste of the hotdog,
The sun in my face,
The warm gentle breeze,
In these hallowed fields.

The windup of the pitcher,
The call of the ump,
The anger of the batter,
In these hallowed fields.

The cheer of good friends,
The closeness of family,
The kiss of my spouse,
In these hallowed fields.

“I am my own worst enemy. This, more than any other trait, proves my fundamental humanity.” Dean Koontz

I know there is something bright above me
I can feel its brilliance
I want to rise above this earth to join it
I can lift a few inches, but something is holding me back
I try to break free
I realize
I am not just being held
I am being grasped, tied, and violently restrained to the point that
I am sinking into the dirt and the mud that surrounds me until all
I see is black
I feel my mouth and nostrils fill with muck
I threaten to suffocate
I desperately wish for light, for air and - there it is. Such Joy!
I am again rising to the light. Why would
I want anything else? But,
I can only lift a few inches. Something is holding me back.

Premium Member Be Nice

Be Nice

Don’t be nasty, don’t be mean.
Don’t use words, that are obscene.
Don’t be obscure, please be concise.
Don’t use words, that are not nice.
Don’t stroke egos, like a phallus.
Don’t use words, filled with malice.
Don’t hurt feelings, when you write.
Critiques are for helping, so keep it tight.

Premium Member Time Considerations

When there is no plan B
When all weighs heavily upon me
When all friends seem lost
When I have considered all the cost
When bills pile high
When all I want to do is cry

Then I will challenge problems anew
Then I will search for solutions through and through
Then I will give thanks to my Creator
Then I will silence my inner debater
Then I will offer up a song of praise
Then I will look for better days

Time

We can see it
smell it
hear it
Touch it
taste it
love it
hate it
fear it
feel it
prolong it
shorten it
mock it
curse it
embrace it
track it
lose it
find it
remember it
forget it
abuse it
respect it
eject it
enjoy it
destroy it
change it
waste it
We can even repeat it
But
We cannot deny it
We cannot rewind it
We cannot stop it

The Great Escape

The concept of an escape is...

...to escape in my own thoughts,
...to escape from my thoughts,
...to escape; however, ONLY in my thoughts.

Blue

Blue like the waves that crash in the deep blue sea
Blue like the feeling that makes us gloomy and unhappy
Blue like the sky when the clouds run away
Blue like the the flashing lights of fireworks on a special day
Blue is a magical color that lives in us everyday

Grey

Grey like the big fluffy clouds that sit up high in the sky
Grey like the walls that watch us without any eyes
Grey like the wolves that howell away
Grey like the roads that take us miles away
Grey like my heart when I'm having a very bad day

If I

If I had a million stars shining ever so bright,
And threw in Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars.
It still wouldn’t equal the light,
Your smile creates in my heart.

If I sailed all the oceans of blue,
In search of something more magnificent.
Nothing could compare to you,
The color and depth of your eyes are truly translucent.

If I traveled around the planet,
And saw the eight wonders of the world.
I’d know your beauty has no limit,
As it takes my breath while its slowly unfurled.

If I had all the money,
And material things it can provide.
It could not satisfy as amply,
As the happiness I feel inside.

~Kindness Is... ~
(Anaphora)

Kindness is to show you care in any way
Kindness is giving something unselfishly
Kindness is to show respect to anyone we meet or know
Kindness is showing compassion when someone needs it to
Kindness is giving a sincere smile
Kindness is truly loving and caring for others
Kindness is saying a kind word or two
Kindness is being nice to each other
Kindness is not being rude to anyone
Kindness is spreading God's love to all in this world.

~ I Believe ~
(The Rhymed Anaphora)

I believe in God and love more than anything that's true
I believe in His divine love and sacrifice that too
I believe that love can make things brand-new
I believe also that much depends on you
I believe in hundreds of things that are good
I believe that many beautiful creatures dwell in the wood
I believe that love hope and peace are necessary to each man
I believe that God has for every man, woman and child a plan
I believe in goodness and kindness for all
I believe we need to stand tall after we fall.
