Pass him the rifle
Pass him the bullets
Pass him the bible
Pass him the Constitution
It’s for his survival
You wouldn’t understand, you are only a woman
Hand him the AK
Hand him your life
Hand him your fate
Hand him his rights
It’s for his ego
You wouldn’t understand, it’s for a man’s pride
He is a Christian, he was once a cadet
He is a Christian, this is his land
He is a Christian, a proudly stubborn vet
He is a Christian, he has a right to demand
It’s for his family
He doesn’t understand, Jesus never walked with a gun in his hand.

SECOND AMENDMENT
There once was a guy known as Abe Lincoln
As President he had done much thinkin’
But his choice of a play
Was a bad one that day
As in his balcony seat was sinkin’
Then another named John F Kennedy
Shot in Dallas, it was a tragedy
The assassination
Caused much speculation
For which the world was not truly ready
At a recent convention, it was Trump
But some shooter with a gun got the hump
A bullet clipped his ear
A miss, and yet so near
Some do say all that one sees is a lump

Freedom's song, first amendment's grace,
A symphony of rights we all embrace.
Speech unchained, beliefs untamed,
Press unburdened, grievances proclaimed.
In liberty's embrace, democracy inflames.

If to our views, you don't align;
You'll forfeit your right to post and opine.
When with your ideas, we do agree;
We grant you the right to speak free.
Should your thinking be different we find,
You must shut up till you get back in line.

Our prized First Amendment
has been challenged.
Now we must hide to whisper
in concealed corners.

Amendment to the Amendment
The right to bear arm's
The moment you pick up or
decide to purchase or own
a gun
In so doing you became a killer
Because bullets and guns don't kill
The people who buy them
and own them do
It's a choice without defense

The Twenty-fifth Amendment
By Franklin Price
9/7/2018
The twenty-fifth amendment
Has the donkeys on a roll
Impeachment is too difficult
The work would take its toll
The twenty-fifth much faster
It appears that it is so
Can do it with the cabinet
If they think that Trump must go
The New York times has published
An insider's discontent
It's rumored now, they're all unhappy
The twenty-fifth can see he's sent
He should not be the president
Was never meant to be
Let's oust him with the twenty-fifth
Will be gone, you will see
Those who tout this grand amendment
Should read it once or twice
To see that it's not so easy
The procedure's not so nice
Whether or not successful
The twenty-fifth will have a cost
With no regard for voters' wants and needs
We the people will have lost

The cheese board met with Mr. Insane.
As a block they want cheese to remain.
So Mr. President’s heading,
to ban packaged shredding,
to make America grate once again.

Abortion becomes critical demand everywhere
Because civilization dares death, stares death-making where
Civilization as we know it, doesn't exist
Dare we give children for adoption, for no-one suggests
Especially to folks in our nation: "How is your foetus growing?"
Instead, how is the baby in your womb; Is it kicking? Is it!

An amendment
A soldier reclines
on a bed of mines,
Unmarked
Apart from a bindi.
A little girl stares
Through glazed, lifeless eyes,
Her clothes bloodied.
Her childhood discarded.
A woman distressed,
Weeps over her husband.
Her ex-husband.
Severely bludgeoned.
A lad lies lifeless
In Srebenica.
His head has exploded.
A pizza?
Girl, woman, man, lad
All victims of killing.
War? Rape? Murder? Arrest?
Resisting?
Never.
Thou shalt not kill.

I propose amending
the U.S. Second Amendment.
The right to own and transport and fire arms
shall be constrained
to include only those who demonstrate sufficient mental health
to have no desire to own and transport and fire ballistic arms,
because they are bad for Earth's environment,
and not so great for assured mutual health and safety.
Hunters
with sufficient mental health
prefer bows and arrows
and fishing poles,
and possibly javelins,
or maybe even boomerangs.

Second Amendment and Child Like Behaviour
Suppose a red rose we should start to see
Reminding all those there of you and me
And such a short life together we did live
Total devotion to each other we would give.
AR-15 rifle is being raffled off by someone
Both automatic rifle and an assault gun
For conflicts and wars was only designed
Police and/or military operations combined.
In hunting by civilians was never meant for
Shooting of animals, coyotes or wild boar
National Guard local files check (LFC) you need
And how weapons chamber to properly feed.
Why would you want to give or sell a weapon
And each and every rule always be excepting
If you had unsatisfactory behavior incorrect
Sell any weapon to them should not select.
South does have a old flag great and grand
But why do they live in la la and fantasyland
Rules and regulations do destroy or distort
No wonder weapons holders win in any court.
Second Amendment sure is such a big issue
All Republicans and NRA will have to ensue
Need Democrats to be our protector and savior
Defend us from confusion and child like behavior.
