Best Amendment Poems
The cheese board met with Mr. Insane.
As a block they want cheese to remain.
So Mr. President’s heading,
to ban packaged shredding,
to make America grate once again.

Limerick
Footsteps heard from afar
Caught in the glimpse of
Strange shadows on walls,
the unknowable visor of
approaching men in uniform,
wedged in the unbroken frames
of those shadows;
Carrying their guns and arms,
They throw a basket of broken
Legs lost in the war, a dump yard
Of human remains
And there through the window
Struck by the very first sight
Are those pair of peeping eyes
That seek answers for all that is
Left and is yet to come,
They speak of all the pain
Felt in the anguish of the bygones,
A struggle to fight for
All that is fair and just,
To level the men of his ‘breed’
One amongst many born unequal
They see affected patterns of color,
The raunchy division of scattered
Privileges
In moments of solitariness, they
Look ahead into the future with a
Vision so pure;
a utopian ideal it seems
To many of his kind, unachievable yet
Worth fighting for, for years
Of unsolicited beatings, they
Only wish to see a world of
Equals, the world as a homogeneity of
Dark and blank pieces,
Men of ‘his breed’
Stand up to wrong all the
Blank pieces covered in shadows
By the ‘darkness’ of their own
Misdeeds,
So a world without
Fear would be created for once,
The end of a gruesome chapter
And the beginning of a liberal one

The issue of gun control shouldn't even be open for argument.
We must uphold and not amend our precious 2nd amendment,
because when governments disarm you, they can accelerate your enslavement.

The children were pulverized, decapitated,
Their flesh was ripped apart.
This is the land of the free,
And the home of the brave.
Good guys with guns waited an hour.
19 students and 2 teachers were murdered.
The children were pulverized, decapitated,
Their flesh was ripped apart.
We need AR-15 rifles to kill prairie dogs.
We need AR-15 rifles because they are semi-automatic.
11-year-old Miah covered herself in her dead friend’s
Blood to stay alive.
The children were pulverized, decapitated,
Their flesh was ripped apart.
If more Americans own AR-15s, SCOTUS will
Think they’re for common use.
You can help prepare young Americans for
Military service if you are skilled with an AR-15.
The children were pulverized, decapitated,
Their flesh was ripped apart.
100 rounds were fired into 2 classrooms
Students called 911
Parents begged police to charge the school.
Good guys with guns waited an hour.
19 students and 2 teachers were murdered.
17 children and adults were injured.
In America, guns, and violence
are the answers to every problem.
In America, violence means
You never need to find a solution.
The solution is always violence.
If violence solves nothing,
It’s because more violence is required.
The children were pulverized, decapitated,
Their flesh was ripped apart.

Please forgive me, but I'm now walking the borderline
of what might possibly offend others who read this work of mine,
but I do believe that the following must be said
continuously, otherwise one day our 1st Amendment might be dead.
"If it's ever enacted into law that we can't say "**** You" because it offends,
then we'll never again be able to say "**** You" to an unruly government."

I believe in the right place
and the right time.
If one has fighting in mind.
I'm not talking about people
who join (the fight,)
those who stand up for a cause.
People fight for a number of reasons.
Two people don't agree on something.
Ignorance, anger and lack of patience.
People let their anger
get the better of them.
Really angry people feel
they have to hurt you.
Most people believe
there is no such thing as a fair fight.
You hear things like “*itch!”
I’m gown beat your sorry behind tonight!
And the other says
“you can try!”
“You gotta bring some
to get some!
These are the people
that carries a weapon.
For those who were taught how to fight,
like Boxers and people who study
the Marshall arts.
When you learn how to fight,
you have to remember people's
second amendment rights.
You'd be surprise at the number of people
who'd bring a gun to a fist fight.
There are those who go out looking for a fight.
Suffering from inflated ego's or over confidence.
Those are ones who get beaten up every time.
I was a Dee Jay working at night club.
A guy came up to me and told me.
He came out to start something.
His night wouldn't be right without a good fight.
So later that night when the club was packed.
And of course, a fight started on the other side of the room.
Mr. Ignorant jumps up and turns over his table
looking to start something.
But the people had quickly
picked up their drinks and stood back.
I smiled as security walked his Ignorance out the door.
If one has fighting in mind,
I believe in the right place and the right time.
So, lets flash back to 1979
Where I was in a Kung Fu class.
After training for a few of months,
In the outdoor gym, my class mate
Help me find my glass chin.
I was over confident,
He showed me why he was number one
In the class and I was number two.
I wanted to go a few rounds with him.
I thought I was better than he was.
So, I was clowning around making him look bad,
or so I thought.
When I took my stance.
That’s when he taped me on my chin.
And… that was thee end…
The lights went out.
I came too, and found myself on the gym floor
And people looking down at me.
I had never been knocked out before.
I have kept my ego in check
from that day to this.
So, I learned that
ignorance is bliss, until
you get hit by a fist.

please, Mr. President
don't take my 9 away
it's my constitutional right
and I shoot most every day
I use it very wisely
I would never take a life
aren't there bigger issues to resolve?
you've got larger fish to fry!
what would I do without it?
where will my frustrations go?
right now shooting at a target
is the best way that I know!

Second Amendment and Child Like Behaviour
Suppose a red rose we should start to see
Reminding all those there of you and me
And such a short life together we did live
Total devotion to each other we would give.
AR-15 rifle is being raffled off by someone
Both automatic rifle and an assault gun
For conflicts and wars was only designed
Police and/or military operations combined.
In hunting by civilians was never meant for
Shooting of animals, coyotes or wild boar
National Guard local files check (LFC) you need
And how weapons chamber to properly feed.
Why would you want to give or sell a weapon
And each and every rule always be excepting
If you had unsatisfactory behavior incorrect
Sell any weapon to them should not select.
South does have a old flag great and grand
But why do they live in la la and fantasyland
Rules and regulations do destroy or distort
No wonder weapons holders win in any court.
Second Amendment sure is such a big issue
All Republicans and NRA will have to ensue
Need Democrats to be our protector and savior
Defend us from confusion and child like behavior.

The Twenty-fifth Amendment
By Franklin Price
9/7/2018
The twenty-fifth amendment
Has the donkeys on a roll
Impeachment is too difficult
The work would take its toll
The twenty-fifth much faster
It appears that it is so
Can do it with the cabinet
If they think that Trump must go
The New York times has published
An insider's discontent
It's rumored now, they're all unhappy
The twenty-fifth can see he's sent
He should not be the president
Was never meant to be
Let's oust him with the twenty-fifth
Will be gone, you will see
Those who tout this grand amendment
Should read it once or twice
To see that it's not so easy
The procedure's not so nice
Whether or not successful
The twenty-fifth will have a cost
With no regard for voters' wants and needs
We the people will have lost

Freedom's song, first amendment's grace,
A symphony of rights we all embrace.
Speech unchained, beliefs untamed,
Press unburdened, grievances proclaimed.
In liberty's embrace, democracy inflames.

If to our views, you don't align;
You'll forfeit your right to post and opine.
When with your ideas, we do agree;
We grant you the right to speak free.
Should your thinking be different we find,
You must shut up till you get back in line.

Before the Mariner grew old, and sailed upon the wave,
He had a wife, a daughter too... she drove him to his grave!
T'was not the Albatross that cursed this man who rode upon the foam,
Before all that his life was worse - with tales of ribbon, brush and comb.
His daughter, see, had bright red locks. She kept them fresh by grooming;
But could not see the mess she'd made when she was finished 'pruning'.
At times like these, her father snapped; too tired and vexed to think:
DAUGHTER, DAUGHTER! EVERY HAIR'S AGAIN DROPPED IN THE SINK!

If you don’t support gun rights,
there’s something wrong with you,
if you don’t support gun rights,
you’re evil through and through,
if you don’t support gun rights,
then you can go get screwed,
if you don’t support gun rights,
there’s something wrong with you.
John lived in the country
where work was hard to find,
how to earn a paycheck
was always on his mind.
He had a wife and children,
three other mouths to feed,
when he went on the hunt
it was with a real need.
Fifty pounds of deer meat,
all with a single shot,
meat for the whole winter,
improvement to his lot.
To buy that at a market
would cost hundreds of bucks,
so he targeted the deer
thankful for the good luck.
Marie was five foot one,
barely one hundred pounds,
and knew she was in danger
late at night on the town.
Some folks said, “Call the cops,”
but that took too much time,
she had to defend herself
from assholes with cruel minds.
They liked to target women,
hard for them to fight back,
they had the size and muscle
that most women did lack.
So in her purse she had
a thirty-eight waiting,
all who might target Marie
had a surprise coming.
Martin was a father
with quite much to protect,
he’d seen much in this life,
knew not what would come next.
But he had lost his mother
in a past robbery,
yet here in his own house
such things would never be.
A duty to protect them,
the job of any man,
if any didn’t like that
he didn’t give a damn.
So he kept a shotgun,
and knew its usage cold
to meet any scumbag
who came there feeling bold.
Hector loved his freedom,
his leaders, not so much,
he voted against them
but didn’t have much luck.
They took people’s rights away,
claimed, “For the common good!”
Started interfering with
things no one ever should.
Stole half of his money,
silenced his voice online,
turned their backs on hate mobs
with intentions malign.
Others were much like him,
with real things to defend,
and like great men before them
would bring this to an end…
If you don’t support gun rights,
there’s something wrong with you,
if you don’t support gun rights,
you’re evil through and through,
if you don’t support gun rights,
then you can go get screwed,
if you don’t support gun rights,
there’s something wrong with you.
