If guns don’t kill people
Why are so many people dead
Another moms child
shot in the head
Blackboards white chalk
splattered in Red
A teacher killed
For something she said
Victim after victim
Demons need to be fed
On violence they’ve been bred
We shouldn’t need
Metal detectors at School
A place of innocence has become cruel
What happened to the Golden Rule
Have we all taken on
the role of a fool
A gun isn’t just a harmless tool
It’s a weapon of mass destruction
and the most potent hate fuel.
I am scared by the NRA narrative
The power and control amendment imperative
Off to Washington lobbyist slobs
More and more gun factory jobs
Guns don’t lead to the collaborative
Weapons should not be the normative.
We have got in the habit of not looking up above
No gun has ever led to acts of love.
So until politicians become brave
Our society is a slave
Problems grow over time
We shouldn’t be so naive
Profiteers shouldn’t determine what we believe
In the end there are to many lives to grieve.
Has anyone noticed the praising of Trump has stopped?
Maybe they no longer believe he's the cream of the crop.
Have they finally realized he's a repulsive, fascist beast
who has ordered American cities to be brutally policed?
ICE arrives masked and armed, grim reapers wearing black,
creating chaos on countrymen, hell bent on the attack.
Have the blind eyes of his legions finally come awoke,
and on their words that glorified him, do they now choke?
Revenge belongs to the righteous One. It's not ours to take
1st Amendment right to peacefully protest, do not forsake
We can offer our prayers to the legitimate Prince of Peace,
asking for the grueling violence in American cities to cease.
I detest red hats that promise to make America great again
What will it take to shut him up and his power to restrain?
There's a purple hat saying that the laws should be upheld.
The Constitution is law, and ICE invaders should be expelled.
"We the people..." what do these three words mean to you?
I don't think we the people are to blame for the hullabaloo.
If you could add a line or two, what would you have to say
about the ICE raiders? How would you make them go away?
*I really hope I don't feel the need to write about this lunacy again.
** Is there no fix for the glitch of giant sizing the images we attach?
To speak a truthful opinion correctly dressed
attacked by false faces clearly visible hate
trying to shut down facts crying victim's
Judgemental liars falsely claiming right's
let's look into your heart and see who pulls the strings
Firstly you support human sacrifice
from there on in everything uttered is cornered
becoming a lost cause when it boils down to lecturing
shape shifting words that overturn
the righteousness of our cause and beliefs
Worthless views push agendas overshadowing the truth
then with branding irons enslaving good values
biting with venom hook line and sinker
taking a back seat as you begin war cursing honesty
This battlefield lawless in its behavioural patterns
accuses those caring virtues of being on the opposite side of the coin tossed here where wisdom holds ground
when clearly they are spinning out of control
condemning those of us trying to save them
This split in the tongue clearly is trapped morally corrupted
begging your forgiveness under blindness
take a long hard look in the mirror reflection bitterness
we are all sinners at the end of the day
a firm purpose of amendment brings you closer to the light
Final Answer
By Curtis Johnson
Must we always expect a “Yes” for our every endeavor?
It is as though we are constantly saying,
“Motivate me. Adjust me. Amend me.
But please don’t say “No” to me!”
Just what is it about “No” that we do not understand?
Not looking for a new motto, I was cleaning an office building.
Like typical businesses do, this company was seeking to increase sales.
My business was office cleaning, and I was toiling to finish and go home.
That is, until I was arrested and captured by nine words on a marker board.
For several weeks, I observed these words that were worthy of note. The nine word sentence was very useful as motivational tools to enhance sales and the bottom line. Every week I stared at these words thinking, “I can most certainly utilize this motto at some point in my life and profession”.
It was some time prior to November 18, 2009 that I first noticed the
sales motto that said, “Never take ‘no’ until you have heard it twice”. On the above date, I was even more drawn by three similar though different magical words on the board.
It appeared that something interesting had happened between the first time I noticed the nine words and the day I saw the three words. Perhaps sales had dropped, requiring new motivational adjustments. An amendment to the motto read, “Never Take No”.

Freedom is somewhat limited
In a so-called democratic society
At times, people cannot truly tell it like it is
People cannot vote freely
Without some restrictions or some stupidities
In order to weaken the disadvantaged
Even though the US first amendment guarantees
Freedom of speech, freedom of expression
To assemble peacefully, freedom of religion
Freedom is not what it is
It is not how it is articulated in the glossary
Freedom is relative, please
Do not say fire vociferously
Or yell gun in the theater
At church or in the street corner
You will be prosecuted
Freedom is not what it should be
It is not what the US Constitution intended
It to be
Freedom is somewhat controlled and limited.

The 14th amendment set us free,
Yet we’re continuously mistreated daily.
The badge takes our purpose and lives,
Lacking any expression of remorse and guilt.
My safety and security is undermined,
The country remains silent and redefined.
If you do not like what I have to say,
Just click the “X” and leave the page.
Believe it or not our system is rigged,
Minorities struggle while majority lives.
Racism is not dead it widely still lives,
No matter what anyone says or gives.
The white man always goes free,
No matter how wrong they treat me.
My people did not fight and die for me,
To be killed for being black on the street.
one definition used malice in defining
socialite, saying it was a first amendment right
of certain people to be socialites.
this is crazy aint it ?
we are people speaking
speaks
against these foolish happenings.
and stands like a hypocrite
when we as people wish to define
redefined certain words that speak
against social freedoms.
then thirty or more spoke saying
"take a chill-pill thrill !
she-it, aint nothing going here !"
yet in this sarcasm are we in
the line of believing that such words
hinder, cause and bring into
being things to happen
for the full enjoyment of
some sadist who wish
such things to be!
one person said, I wish
George Washington loved us,
because he would have told those men
that socializing is not the
gathering of minds,
it often is where someone
will be, so that someone else
can tell his/her foe
where they are and cause
some kinda fight to encure!
attract attention
attract and repel
repel the invader
repel mosquitoes
mosquitoes carry malaria
mosquitoes bite
bite the bullet
bite the hand that feeds
feeds on animosity
feeds on carrion
carry on your luggage
carrion eater
eater of flesh
eater of words
words to live by
words of wisdom
wisdom teeth
wisdom comes with age
age of aquarius
age before beauty
beauty is in the eye of the beholder
beauty is only skin deep
deep sea diving
deep six
six hundred threescore and six
six gun
gun collector
gun control
control yourself
control freak
freak out
freak show
show no emotion
show and tell
tell no tales
tell the truth
truth or consequences
truth or dare
dare to be dumb
dare to keep kids off drugs
drugs and drinking
drugs, sex and rock 'n roll
roll out the barrel
roll over beethoven
beethoven ludwig van
beethoven's fifth
fifth amendment
fifth of whiskey
whiskey
amendment
The second amendment gives the right to bear arms
The sixth commandment says thy shall not murder
The Koran states 17:33 and do not take any humans life
so what on this earth gives you the right.
Orlando pays a heavy price for a shooters hatred , 50 dead
Sandy Hook he entered a school and took innocent lives , 27 dead
Virginia tech , you go to learn then you die , 32 dead
to take other people's lives
300 millions guns thats a lot of hate
in 30 states a child can hold a rifle license
only 7 states ban assault rifles
the tears and grief you bring
15 minutes is all at took 2016 first shooting of the year
27 people slayed on xmas day
60 percent of suicides are gun related
come on america ditch the arms
so what on this earth gives you right
to take other people's lives
the tears and grief you bring
come on america ditch the arms
the poems the last verse the rest tells you why

He looked at his orders and left out a long sigh
Raised his eyes to the clouds and asked, "Why, God, Why?"
The toughest assignment of a long career
A message to be taken to a family held dear.
He arrived at the station and began his walk down the street
There was a feeling of anguish he could not defeat
He found the home he was looking for
Took a deep breath and walked to the door
The man's face became filled with fear
He knew in his heart why the soldier was here.
As he delivered the message that their only son had died
"Oh no, not my baby, not my baby," the young mother cried.
There was a look of despair in the father's sad eyes
And undeniable grief in the young mother's cries
Their son had been butchered, not killed in the field
There would be no viewing, the casket was sealed.
We will not retaliate as the lone church bell tolls
Our leaders don't want to look bad in the polls
There is a feeling of anger that through my body runs
As politicians sharpen their image with the blood of our sons.
At night, alone, he feels the tears fill his eyes
The soldier is haunted by the young mother's cries
The war rages on and he answers the call
The battle continues and more soldiers fall.
We are in another Vietnam but this time it is not the war splitting the country. It
is the apathy of the American people. We need to care. We need to recapture our
patriotism and pride. We are watching our children die while the administration
bows down and worships the oil companies. We watch as people continually
violate our rights by abusing the first amendment. We are fighting a war for five
years that should have lasted five weeks. I'll fight to defend my country, but I'll be
damned if I'll fight so Shell and Exxon can get their hands on Iraqi oil.
