Truth will not die, it always finds a way to be reborn.

Bury the truth and it will take root
deep within the earth it lives
Waiting for the time to sprout up and feed
upon the light shinning it's path forward
and onward, traveling as a whisper
in the wind . First softly as gentleness of a breeze
awaking emotions into the hearts of men,
suddenly Truth spreads as a wildfire
by winds of hurricanes in voices
of repressed and enslaved seeking
and fighting for freedom
lead by truth.
All men are created equal by the breathe of God
Liberty is not dream but a birthright
For truth wrestles the weary soul free
into a living spirit of justice and liberty
won by the spelled blood of fallen heroes
whose sacrifice shields all before present and future.
Truth lives for a world that hungers to hear it
to speak it, to see it, to feel it, to taste it to live it.
We are free for Truth lives.

Not Free At Last

The July 4th 1776
U.S. Declaration of Independence,
viewed by Abraham Lincoln
as the moral standard
to which the country should strive,
contains the quotation,
'All men are created equal,'
however, throughout his life,
George Washington, a Founding Father,
owned and managed over 577
enslaved people at Mount Vernon,
and still retained 123 slaves,
on his (4th March 1797) death,
some 20 years 4 months
after the country's birth.
He had decreed the unfortunates
were only to receive manumission
upon the (May 22nd 1802) demise
of his wife, the first 'First Lady', Martha,
who, acting partly out of fear
the individuals might hasten her death
to secure their freedom,
released them January 1st 1801.

Once, the 'Land of Opportunity',
now, known as, 'Land of the Free',
lie and deny from the top down...
it is, and always has been, the 'Land of Hypocrisy.'

Premium Member The Healing of a Grateful Nation

The fog clears as we hear the,
War cries in the distance,
In our crisp new grey uniforms.
They tell us of the ideology,
That propels us to war.
Our eyes have been shielded,
By their lies, and we believed them as,
We were lambs being led to the slaughter.
But our women and children,
Are the true victims of war.
Iron blades thrusting deep into our bodies,
While feeling the searing pain in our hearts.
I lay on the ground as I heard the blood drip,
From the bodies of my brothers.
Their blood saturates the ground,
Cursing all of us in the future.
We continue to have nightmares of the unforgiving,
In the hallowed ground of a cursed nation.
The horror of war brings the reality,
Of pain, death, and the cruelty,
Of a torn nation that.
Will be felt for decades.
One day in the future,
All men will be created equal,
Not by the color of their skin,
But the intelligence of their mind.
This is when we will begin to heal as a nation.
Yet, 158 years later, in 2023, the Supreme Court,
Has to remind us that all men are created equal.


Pregnant Without a Parent Reason

All men are created equal
All men are women in the womb
With babies born inside their minds
Delivered in flight by penguin equity

All women are men with inverted appendages
Who have pronouns instead of names
Amazon drops off packages at their doorsteps
On purpose, special deliveries
At the end of the flat Earth streets                    
   
No matter what gender you are
You are a pregnant superstar

Companies come in the morning to give birth
Not to Jesus but to rainbow coalitions
On the condition that you step outside yourself

Follow them to a world of fluffy stuff
Full of marshmallows, unicorns and Oreo cookies
Oreo says, “Transgenders exist”
A cookie fixation, that’s the fix

Steeped in power, keeping the clouds at bay
Vanilla is a way to stay happy happy joy joy

Everyone comes in one size, supersize
One must keep an open mind to be woke
One must wake up first to be Woke
A condition that has no cure at first
Until someone gives birth on the sly
Not knowing who or why

Premium Member The Pain of Stars and Stripes

It has been said that pain is
a conversation waiting to be had.
If that is so, there’s so much to share:

Today, the term the United States
is on the road to becoming less and less
an applicable synonym for America.

Reigning division and separatism
seem to be the new twin watch-words
describing this discordant nation.

Today, the old Mason-Dixon Line
has been replaced; yet of the tri-color
flag, white remains supreme; red and blue
identifying her divisive demarcations.

Black, brown and yellow sprinkle
in the circles thereof and polarization
of color again sums up the political times.

That all men are created equal
was a worthy pen; such words, however,
have yet to become a living reality.

It has been held that what goes around
soon comes back around—if the circle
is not broken.  Yet it is also held true
that a bubble blown beyond its limits
will surely burst and dissipate into vapor.

We'd all like to think this is fact but it's not

Continues today but more intense than sought

The freedom to fall
Look lick the luster lane 
It is often a shame to the
One who doesn't win the
Grand prize, gratuitously
Lame, it feels strange, alien
Always another man aim
Another  somebody's edge

Retrieve the goose's  golden egg
Move proudly.  How?  Mahogany goal
The best we believe  because we hold
These TRUTHS TO BE SELF  EVIDENT
That all men are created equal.
We all win and loose the same
With sadden faces and empty pockets
We win with thicker pockets 
And hidden glee
And we all  wander on with  our lives

the cool breeze fondles
the old tattered flag as it
hangs on the flagpole
displaying it's frayed faded
colors of red, white, and blue

fluid in the wind 
drawing your ears to the flags
flapping sounds trying
to tell manifold stories
of men and women's valor

The Committee of Five edited Jefferson's draft. Their version survived further edits by the whole Congress intact, and reads: 
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. ——

Happiness; 1776 the common meaning may have been "prosperity, thriving, wellbeing"

Words Live

Written words
 blend into memorable unforgotten causes
  repeated and recalled as history falls to human flaws
   dark, hidden truths of hopes and promise 
    in actions taken without compromise.

What were these words so unforgettable?
Some battle cry for truth and justice incredible?
Yes and more, let's never forget the lessons
 teaching history must change our very essence.

Dr King Dream Has No Meaning

We are now in the dark times once more, where slavery has put a chain around our necks. You are rejoicing over my death because of my black skin...it’s painful to think that someone only sees the colour of my skin and not who I am.
 
I can't understand why you would judge me because of my skin... the God that created you, created me, all men are created equal...so many treat a dog better than a black man. I am scared to think my neighbors in this era still believe I should be lynched because of my black skin. I now walk in fear waiting for my death just because you think you are better than I am, racism is now the order of the day so I am waiting on you to put a bullet to my skull. The real shackles are around your thinking. You are enslaved by your thoughts.

Dr. King’s dream has no real meaning because you are still sightless, trapped without vision... you’re in utter darkness. Helen Keller is right " The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision"

Bondage To No Bounds

Twenty score years ago, and some
The evil merchants crossed the waves
Gleeful as they raped and pillaged
Their cargoes of dark-skinned slaves

En route to the land of Liberty
Where all men are created equal
In their most frightening and wildest nightmares
They could never have envisioned the sequel

After four centuries of hatred, violence and exploitation
Against the human chattel who built this nation
The values upon which America was built
Would overcome its culture of greed

On the backs of unknown, unsung masses
Who bore the burden of long labor and whips lashes
And the prayers and Faith of prophet preachers
Came a man, half black, half white…

A new breed leader

Who dared to believe against all odds
That he could unite these United States
Seen only, perhaps, by The Dreamer…in ‘68
Who could have known our country’s fate

For the first time, truly, since 1776
A Golden Opportunity For Unity exists
That all Americans could possibly be One
Our new president alone cannot get this done

INDEPENDENCE


I have observed that America is a Democratic Republic with high values on the INDIVIDUAL 

We are 50 States, some of whose economies rival other countries; yet we are one NATION.

Yes, we have fought each other in a bloody war; yet we are one and shall not be DIVIDED.

As a nation, we set our goals and aim for the heights, flying and soaring like the EAGLE.

We are not about “He, the President or He the Potentate”, but all about “We The PEOPLE".

Our nation is not perfect, but at its core, “We Believe That All Men Are Created EQUAL".

We are blessed and prosperous; and as a people, we pause to give thanks every NOVEMBER.

So often, similarities make great people; but the strength of America is its DIFFERENCES.

Some of our rights are granted through government; there are others that are God ENDOWED.

We have One President, 100 Senators, 435 Representatives, and Supreme Court Justices are NINE.

Our country is a Republic and not a Theocracy; but most of our founding fathers believed in a CREATOR.

It has been said that America is great because we are good; may our goodness long ENDURE.

Mr Washington

Mr. Washington I want to know
what would you have to say?
as you gaze upon this land
if you were still alive today
what would be your thoughts
on a nation that lost its way
would you stand and fight?
like on that long ago day?

Mr. Washington would you stand by us?
would you stand by the American Nationalist?
to stand against left wing hate?
rebuttal looney lefts accusation of terrorist?
Is this the country you wanted?
or have they destroyed your vision?
your Constitution no longer applies here
Mr. Washington what would be your decision?

Mr. Washington do you remember Thomas Jefferson?
"it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government"
now would you still take up arms?
fight the tyrants with pure determinant?
what do you think about uncapped capitalism?
how about a multi racial society rotten to the core?
is this what you mean by all men are created equal?
or are your words obfuscated and what for?

Constitution says All men are created equal
We live in the home of the brave
But we annihilated the Red man
And made the black man a slave
We imprisoned the Yellow man
And judged the poor and the gay
Only a rich straight white Christian
Can be a free man today
We thirsted for power, now isn't it odd
We raped, pillaged and plundered in the Name of God
We committed crimes time will never erase
Then thumped a Bible in your face
We sin compulsively assuming God will forgive it
Then preach Christianity but we never live it
We formed a bigoted society where hate is the rule
If we accept others as Equals we call our own a fool
We sit in judgement of others, I guess we forgot
This isn't the way that Jesus taught
I'm a straight white Christian so maybe I'll fall
But I'll die believing God created us all
So when I read the Bible and God's Children I see
I'll never assume it's only children like me.
I no longer listen to your bigoted view.
Equality for all, not just people like you.

Equality means Equality and Bigotry is Bigotry
Jesus said "Love Thy Neighbor" NO DESCRIPTIVE ADJECTIVE.
