Their Ears are Alight

Gaza, Iran & Beirut.. nighty night

No respite from the missiles flight

Vexing but still flexing their might

Poor poor me…the Israelite

Don’t confuse this ain’t about Jews

Diaspora poorer cos of this blight

Lots of bots & Zionist zealots plots

Poor poor me….the Israelite

Ignite the fight with clear foresight

Denied aid this trite white knight

Lied about genocide that’s alright

Poor poor me….the Israelite

Mad Mossad glad says it’s our bad

Spite.. despite their neighbours plight

Planned land grab it’s their birthright?

Poor poor me… the Israelite

A tool in the cruel rule of fossil fuel

Not a fool got their American mule

Know they’re best mates so tight

Poor poor me… the Israelite

No slight or insight.. news lite

Spank & shank the West Bank

Carve up then starve a delight

Poor poor me…the Israelite

No stagefright the future’s bright

Rage kill will keep up their pecker

To murder and be a home wrecker

Victims can’t alight from midnight

Narcissist terrorist is high as a kite

Hear old song by Desmond Dekker

Poor poor me…the Israelite

Premium Member Answer Alight -

I saw you crying
over burning flowers
and I thought,
this is why God loves the world,

To love without understanding,
to know the truth of suffering,
to want Forever in a heartbeat,
to stop for nothing
so to gain everything without mercy,
weeping for the birth of joy...

Premium Member You Alight From Moonbeam

The scarlet sun has sunk in the horizon low,
ebony night descends through the twilight glow.
Shimmering stars sprout silently one by one,
their cosmic dance in the stellar sky has begun.

From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.

The cloud clumps drift away at the fall of night,
the glimmer of your grace captures my sight.
I float with the sequins of moon under sapphire sky,
my dormant desire to reach you soars high.

From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.

On the glittering golden beach of the indigo sea,
you walk melodic steps in the rhythm of waves I see.
The rolling swells bring from afar the posy of pearls,
adorn your ivory feet with lovely lattice of curls.

From the cascade of moonbeam you alight
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.

You walk like an angel on my garden’s floral trail,
face radiates charm behind the moonshine veil.
As you come close and ardently embrace me,
my heart beats at the pace of heavenly rhapsody.

From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.

Premium Member Southern Alight

In the frigid silence of glacial eve, penguins gather tight.
Emperors, waddling half in black, under half-lit southern night.
One dreams of flight, yet stays on course; with colony alights.

Premium Member Where Faeries In the Forest Alight

See those snowdrops? The grandma said.
The child nodded her tiny blonde head.
This is where faeries in the forest alight.
They increase the flower’s hues so bright.

The child was entranced now more than ever before.
She learned more about the faeries and their lore.
Searching for them daily among the snowdrops.
Sometimes seeing something invisible during their hops.

The snowdrops had heard the story too.
They loved showing the child love, shaking their dew.
The child is a grandma now, sharing the story today.
With her own child, amusing the snowdrops and the fey.

Premium Member Four Thing's

Four Things

Four things in any land must dwell,
If it endures and prospers well:
One is manhood true and good;
One is noble womanhood;
One is child life, clean and bright;
And one an altar kept alight.

Where Dragonflies Alight

It was a long hike before they reached the campsite,
and sunlight was fading with the slight threat of rain.
Mandy was weary and Jeff's mood was quite dreary.
There was much yet to prepare before dark of night.
Tents needed raising, then fire and food to prepare.
Labors completed by the bright glow of moonlight.
Mandy gathered dry kindling while Jeff found water,
near a stand of cattails where dragonflies alight.
Gazing at the laggard walk of a red capped crane,
Jeff's mood was quite dreary, and Mandy was weary,
'til scared by trumpets of the sandhill crane in flight.

Cheer out if you’re listening
Truly must your heart-mind be - singing
Across and spacing as seasons
Dance away ‘til next ceasing.

Premium Member Let Us Set the World Alight

Let us set the literary world alight with this poetical spark,
Bring forth visions of happiness, ecstasy, joy, light up the dark.
Let all participate from the very young to our revered oldest.
On this occasion to join in and give of their very best.

Let sunshine and love and romance rule this wonderful day
A day we will never forget in our memory and work and play.
Let music from the heavens make our feet become alive and dance.
Let kind words praise, raise merriment and romance be our stance.

We will fly high into the sky and survey our wonderful earth,
On high we can evaluate how precious to us she is worth.
Give us the determination to make this aura of happiness go on for ever.
To do this we must all unite and give our best endeavour.

Dear Lord, if you grant us this wonderment for only one day,
Can you heal the sick and disabled for ever I pray.
Make the world sing together, embrace each other,
Making us all live together as close family or lover.

Madiba's Candle, Always Alight - Tribute To Nelson Mandela

Today the sun rose
Over a doleful earth
Our hero, uTata Madiba,
Whose life has given us worth,
Has now set sail
For a realm beyond our reach
And now imprinted in mind
His every word and belief

A soul that cared
So deeply for humanity
Whose humility would dismiss
All traces of vanity
He strongly loved
Every being of every race
And fought for his land
With sincerity and grace

We thank you for the faith
For the freedom you instilled
For 95 years of dedication,
A life mission fulfilled
So rest dear one
And let your spirit soar
And my we embrace your ideals
More conscientious than before

Today we light a candle
To unite the flame you've sparked
May you easily find your way
On this new journey that you embark
May we all adapt your vision
And view a stone as a precious pearl
And may your name live on for lifetimes
As the man who changed the world

Premium Member Alight In the Dark

the dark side
of the sun
sunny side up
i begin searching
in the soul

with light
from the moon
caressing deep
dark space
twinkling stars
shining

winking i look
upon the moons
face smiling
silver shadows
dancing

fluttering light
in the trees
hiding
seek and you will find
as night speaks
i whisper
softly

without a voice
not lost
dreaming something beautiful
a lonely wolf
upon a mountain top
coming out
of the shadows

howling into night
one with his shadow
lighting up
bright in
the dark
in the moon face

Premium Member Alight

i see an angel
you light up
in a faraway distance
hope shines
silent whispers
rustling in the trees

a white rose
walking a beautiful path
filled with sweet blossoms
chosen as we speak
enchanting spells
 light within a life
the curtains
begin to raise
out of nowhere
like a dream

i begin talking
beautiful words again
the path begins changing
each and every
single day

i found a lighthouse
the goal remains
one aim to hold
the hands
in the golden mittens
a treasure

a gem sparkling
in so much beauty
wearing the crown
a princess
sparkling within
 the eyes beautiful

holding the soul
mirror of the heart
to kiss the frog
i would give to you
the moon

as i hold your hands
in golden mittens
two stars shining
heaven's light
souls connected
in one spark

Alight Christmas

I'm dreaming of a well lit Christmas
just like the ones that used to glow
for a price of admission, a well-lit apparition
a rainbow-colored gel for Christmas show

I'm dreaming of a lighted Christmas
photons careening with bright flow
'lectric magicians emit eye-candy emissions
from exclusive condos down to 'long skid row

I'm dreaming of a well lit Christmas
a mega-watt extravaganza blazing bright
so that all the Christmas lights invite
a shareholders annual dividend delight

The Skies Alight Through This Light

the skies alight through this light

when night-falls over our love forever more,
 my wife
when days break to our hearts quake

love Begin once again
eyes to meet
lips to kiss
hands to hold
bodies alight in love throughout the nights in to your sweet eyes daylight.

the winds will blow our love will flow
rain drops will fall we dance for passion forever more ,

beds alight to the sweet nights our love is forever toghther .

a key turns our passion and love flows
 our love forever grows

dancing flowers
my wife my ceizar,
shes the power

a forever lasting flower, a rose of white a kiss of red to beautiful
love in our bed .

my ceizar your are the light
you are the day
you are the flower
you are the passion
you are forever beautiful
you are the kiss upon my lips
you are the forever making of my new life
you are my forever wife
