Aches And Pains
 Aches and pains.
 They never go away.
 They greet me in the morning.
 Always suffering.
 Hair turning gray.
 I’m showing my age.
 Played hard as a kid.
 Growing old, I’m now paying for it.
 Aches and pains go away.
 Take it easy every day.
 May need a walker and a cane
 Just

Aches And Pains

Aches and pains, pains and aches
Is this what old age is about?
What about sailing off into the sunset
Instead we complain about gout

It hasn't been bad at least not for me
Been one of the fortunate ones
Count all my blessings every damn night
Each morn I welcome the sun

Why me I ask, how come I'm the one
Escaping old

While My Heart Aches

Moonlight will reign when twilight fades
Skies darken and starlight cascades
The world is poised, ready for sleep
While my heart aches, and my eyes weep

Tides continue to ebb and flow
Grief chills my life like Winter snow
Tears borne on waves into the deep
While my heart aches, and my eyes weep

Nights are long as I lie abed
Memories of us

My Heart aches for you Only you can make it Change

Not everyone Believes in Love and Light and Miracles. Not everyone embraces Hope and Faith.

My Heart aches when I look at you 
I can see and feel everything 
I know your Heart, Mind and Soul 
Because your Energy speaks so loudly 

You're

Heart aches

Nothing particular,
then it comes to me.
Like a flash of lightning,  
streaking down from  the sky.
It’s a thought of you, 
and like that flash striking a tree,
my heart aches.

Every Ache In The World

Jim starts the day with good intention
Jobs need doing that require his attention.
The garden needs a good sprucing up
His vegetation 'triffids' are running amok.

He mows the lawn, trims the hedges,
Creates those nice, neat lined edges.
Weeds the borders, deadheads the flowers,
Feeds the plants their nutritional powers.

The hard soil is dug, ready and prepped
To sow the seeds

The heart aches

teardrops like raindrops 
shed by the heart when it aches 
to comfort itself

Of Stomach-aches and Birthday Cakes

     Give thanks for a stomach-ache
       same as for a birthday cake

     Do your elbows feel good today ~
       that'll seal the deal, the grateful say

Body Ails Yet Spirit Soars

In the dawn's embrace, as slumber fades away,
Bones crackle, the body in aching display.
Soreness nestles within, each muscle groans,
Yet the spirit persists, it tirelessly hones.

Each morning's wake a saga to unfold,
Back sore, legs cramped, a story century old.
A neck that protests, shoulders that speak,
Fingers that ache as they touch and seek.

My Body Aches From the Weight of Your Sins

My body aches, burdened by your sins,
Heavy shadows cast where light begins.
Each step I take, a struggle to endure,
Your deeds weigh down, a pain so pure.

The weight you bear, I feel in my bones,
In every whisper of wind that moans.
Guilt and remorse, an unending sea,
Their waves crashing, engulfing me.

Yet I stand strong, against the tide,
For

Tune

On these sunny days I sadly feel blue

Where is the phone call that you said would happen soon?

Now my guitars out of tune

and my body aches in the afternoon

but for some reason I can't wait to tell you.

On these darkest nights I'm still not tired 

quit my job before I could get fired  

then

My Guard

My heart is cracked
..it aches

I use it carelessly
..it shakes

I must be wise now
..it’s sore

It can withstand the blows
..no more

I let it fall so hard
..again

I must shelter it
..from pain

I should be more aware
..it’s sad

From all the heartache
..it’s had

I’ll never fall again 
..so hard

I must once more keep up
My guard.

Arthritis Is Back

Autumn sneaks early into September
With cloudy days and cooler temp,
A feeling of fall in the morning air
Arthritis is back, causing me to limp.
Thank goodness for dear ol’ Ben Gay
With his sweet smell of peppermint,
He helps me make it through the day
By applying his soothing, minty scent.
The pain is real, the ache depresses
With stiffness that won’t

His Terre Aches

The Psycho Cell roof is leaking
The lady inside is shrieking
As hard as she tries
When she shuts her eyes
All she can see is Trump streaking
