ACHES AND PAINS

Aging slow creaks rise up, bones murmuring their truths, a quiet ledger of the years unfolds.

Dear Sara, you capture the "aches and pains" of aging so succinctly and poetically. Every line builds the truth of it with fantastic imagery. Beautiful and poignant. I hope all is well with you and Bill. Warmest wishes my poet friend.. ~Susan

Yes, the older we get the more we have those problems at least many people do have them. My father was a very unusual person in that he did not complain with those kinds of things very often. I could feel the aches and pains as I read this one. Sara K
