OF THE ESSENCE OF LIFE AND LOVE
(Apropos Of 37 Years Of Onderful Onement Oneness)

The essence of you, is sweet life and love;
My dear angel sent from heaven above:-
Whenever I find myself with you,
It seems there is nothing I cannot do:-

Yes, your essence is sweet life and love;
My dear angel sent from heaven above:-
The light you bring into my life,
Dispels all gloom and strife:-

You promised to leave me never;
And I, to love you now, and forever:-
Hey angel, you mean the world to me:
And I shall love you throughout eternity:

       For you are the essence
Of my life and supreme love
       My blessed angel
Gifted to me by God above:-

Premium Member Poetic Podcast Episode 37

Do we have to look the same
to support each other?

Do we need a hive of ‘groupthink ‘
to support each other?

Do we have to weather a storm
to support each other?

Do we need to be moving far away
to support each other?

Do we have to already be dead
to support each other?

I have thought about this often,
I’m at a cliff’s edge with a white towel.

Do I have to hit the icy water,
nose dive with nothing more to offer?

Does everything have to end up over?
I have given everything I had.

I wasn’t sure,
I looked it up,
here’s what it said to me:
that my life’s goal,
my purpose
is to add to earth’s beauty.

Beauty? Me?
How could I make
a world so bleak and grey
turn into color,
come awake,
and make the night as day?

Beauty? Me?
How could I
approach a world without
such things therein
but in my eye
see them, and so, not doubt?

I asked,
a poet answered,
and a witch said unto me,
“Maybe some things
come unraveled
so that we may be free.”

Free to see the beauty!
My excitement come awake!
No obstacle is truly
Greater than what is at stake.

Up and Doing - Prosperity Poem 37

Be up and doing - act today
Put power behind the words you say
See your vision with mind and eyes
Use action to help you reach new highs

Be up and doing - follow through
It’s easy to say what you PLAN to do
Actions prove who you really are
Mere talk alone won’t get you far

Be up and doing - stop your fear
Fulfill your purpose while you’re here
Great ideas are a place to start
But success takes doing, acting smart

Be up and doing - take that chance
And every prosperous circumstance
Will come to you, and like a friend
Help you accomplish what you intend

Unhinged Power

Yes I come from distant places
Once I was small but never again will I kneel
Understand that I am the storm

Are you scared of me?
Remember who you used to be, standing tall, but now look at you
Eating from my hands and trembling before me

My eyes are dark pools that see into your soul as you cower at my feet
Ink runs up and down my skin
Never look me in the eyes but don’t look away
Every distraction is an opportunity

Focus
Only the blood in my fervent veins can sustain you
Risk your life for a small sip as I watch
Every cell in your body is buzzing like a bee
Vertigo; too bad I’ve removed your stinger
Energy rushes through me. You cannot
Run

Premium Member The Thirsty Can Come and Drink - John 7: 37-39

Here is Jesus on the great feast day
the finale as He speaks to the crowd
there were those of all types and persuasions
thinking of themselves great and proud

Jesus stands up and cries out
if anyone thirsts come to me
for spiritually we all are thirsting
not recognizing that we need to see

Then the Lord shows drawing power
'let him come to me' Jesus declares
God's grace comes to draw you in
so you also learn to tell and share

God invites everyone to drink
of this living water so free
the only water that can satisfy
receiving this absolutely no fee

Jesus says rivers of living water
flows out from deep in your heart
as the scripture has truly declared
when you believe fully in no small part

(" On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Seventeen, thirty-seven, fifty-seven
Age has no bearing whatsoever

When it comes to a gorgeous young filly
As long as she's breathing, that's all us guys need

When the time we have left gets short
We must use the remaining time

To drink in all the beauty that life has to offer
At the risk of sounding like a dirty old man

Please excuse my verbosity
I'm just trying to explain the working's

Of an old man's mind or ANY man's mind
Gorgeous women were always meant to be

Admired, gawked at and drooled over
Plain and simple... it's why we exist!

So here's to gawking, may I gawk forever
It sends shivers down to my toesies

With each sweetie that prances by
My wiggler starts wiggling

And puffs of smoke streams
Outta my ears

The Egyptian Cubit

is said to be

52.36 ... cenTIMEter

but as you can see...

I multiplied

to find the Mayan...

52 x 36 = 1872

I asked about frogs

and bacab and the lion...

"... an arrangement made ..."

and it said, "...this way..."

The Structure is Fine

and the lines all rhyme

... So I wrote it again...

10 + 5 + 19 + 21 + 19 = 74

and then dear god...

I could see your name.

As I sit here alone gathering my thoughts,
I can’t help but think of the things that have passed me by.
Some of those memories could make one a bit distraught,
But I’m well aware that I’m the one who did not try.

I’m the one who did not try hard enough for that job.
I’m the one who did not try hard enough for that trip.
Between Peter and Paul, I chose Peter to rob.
I chose which bills I would pay and which ones I would skip.

I don’t think regret is quite the right word to use.
Foolish might better describe many choices of my past.
Only I can change my ways and I do refuse
To accept my future lot has already been cast.

Kevin Sonnet Number 37

For the viewer, beauty has the feel of
All the connections of eternity,
For it is through this processing of love
The timeless achieves non-duality.
So, when we turn and lie still and silent
With our touch being the only focus,
Limits melt away and our fears relent
Almost to the point beyond our notice.
There in the heart of quiet acceptance
Do we become mortality’s equal,
Gazing at beauty’s undying expanse
Lacking no beginning, end or sequel.
     What matter words when everything else speaks;
When your palms decide to cradle my cheeks.

A kingfisher was all of a dither,
When he first saw thick ice on the river'
He cried "Golly-Gee!"
As he dived off a tree
But the impact made every bone quiver
