P.C. # 38. Egad? I had to look that one up, it really is a word. Ha, a short acrostic! Well, you did it. I guess you don't want me to challenge you again, but I'm tempted. Haha. How many poems did you write in 2025?

Mmmmhmmm, my precious husband, egad, it is a word, and the poem is an acrostic, I know dear, how absurd!! No, do not challenge me again. I just wrote you a 'poem' in my reply to your comment, so count it as one for 2025 :P !! And I promise I will write :) <3

- It's easy to write rhymes in your native language ... (because you know the words) ... but I find it difficult in English .... (because I don't know the words) - I wish you a peaceful and happy new year, Bj :) - hugs

That would be truly hard to write poems in another tongue you are not used to writing in to rhyme, that would be impossible for me too. I hope your New Year has been blessed thus far and all the way through. Thank you for your visit as well as your comment Anne-Lise :) Hugs to you as well! <3

Always thought poetry was just rhyme, it was an eye opener for me when I joined soup, have tried other forms but always come back to rhyme, once a rhymer always a rhymer. Tom

I love rhyming verses too, always have. I did however begin to tire writing uninspired poetry to finish the challenge, the challenge was like grabbing blindly at anything and trying to get this done. It really made me think that I will look into other forms of writing as I have time. But still, I know I will forever be a fan of rhyme and verse :)
