Unhinged Power
Yes I come from distant places
Once I was small but never again will I kneel
Understand that I am the storm
Are you scared of me?
Remember who you used to be, standing tall, but now look at you
Eating from my hands and trembling before me
My eyes are dark pools that see into your soul as you cower at my feet
Ink runs up and down my skin
Never look me in the eyes but don’t look away
Every distraction is an opportunity
Focus
Only the blood in my fervent veins can sustain you
Risk your life for a small sip as I watch
Every cell in your body is buzzing like a bee
Vertigo; too bad I’ve removed your stinger
Energy rushes through me. You cannot
Run
