Please don’t miss out and be left behind
Salvation only thru Jesus we can always find

Try not to do, what you know is not right
And pray to Jesus to keep you in His sacred light

Don't do evil and keep company with the wrong crowd
In front of our God we should be humbled not proud

The ways of the Lord are always good and perfect
He deserves all our unconditional love and respect

Find the Lord first and to you all His blessings He'll surely add
For your sins and mine He paid the price so we can be glad not sad

For the love of God we can come anytime and have with Him eternity
Only through Jesus we can have Salvation, not in our own way and ability

We can not attain Salvation just by doing it with our own power or good
We're not good enough, just "God" is really good and perfect and that’s understood.

~Author's notes:

Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (NIV)

I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.” And they said to him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.”

Luke 17: 34-37 (NIV)

Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

Revelation 3: 10 (NIV)

“But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Mark 13:32 (NIV )

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Addiction and Suicide

Drug Addiction and suicide are no joke.
Some people find it entertaining when those individuals croak.
Recovering and living I've seen both sides
I just wish people could live their lives.

Whether it's a pill, powder, or a needle
This epidemic can be unspeakable.
Whether it's a rope, gun, or a razor.
Society can make you feel crazier.

The addictions and the feelings are real
But unfortunately not everyone can heal
These things are not one bit bias.
Our surroundings are what supply us.

I've lost many to these addictions.
I was lucky enough to leave these conditions.
Ones I've loved and lost I wont forget.
Not helping more is definitely a regret.

There was a boy that was 18yrs old.
His heart not one bit cold.
Always laughing and smiling.
But on the inside he was dying.

He couldn't deal with the pain no more.
He felt it deep inside of his core.
At home he took a gun to his head.
That's where his parents found him dead.

There was a girl that was 22yrs of age.
Always in life she was engaged.
Her huge hugs that held me tight.
It seemed her life was full of light.

But then one day just changed it all.
I guess she felt she couldn't fall.
A needle in her arm led her to an overdose.
Lost yet another one that was so close.

A hard working man 37 and strong.
Always made people fell like they belong.
Family was his always his number one.
He got clean and figured he was done.

But the addiction took over one night.
Unfortunately he couldn't keep the fight.
The needle took him to a new place.
Now our earth cant ever see his face.

Beautiful and young another one.
Always happy and free and we had fun.
We would joke and laugh through the night.
Life had its struggles and that was in sight.

She couldn't continue on no more.
Her insides became way to sore.
She took her own life in a blink of an eye.
Didnt tell anyone she wanted to die.

26 a mother, still young and free.
Always was a happy smile she could see.
She had no fears in the world.
Everything in life must have twirled.

She gave in to her addictions.
She believed in every last conviction.
Her life was taken by an overdose.
There's no set lethal dose.

They dont all end bad, some turn out right.
Some are accidental, others are what's in sight.
But education and understanding is key.
If lowering the count is what we want to see.

Mary In Holy Quran Part2

(22) And the pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of the palm-tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten! (23) Then (one) cried unto her from below her, saying: Grieve not! Thy Lord hath placed a rivulet beneath thee, (24) And shake the trunk of the palm-tree toward thee, thou wilt cause ripe dates to fall upon thee. (25) So eat and drink and be consoled. And if thou meetest any mortal, say: Lo! I have vowed a fast unto the Beneficent, and may not speak this day to any mortal. (26) Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Thou hast come with an amazing thing. (27) O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot. (28) Then she pointed to him. They said: How can we talk to one who is in the cradle, a young boy? (29) He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet, (30) And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive, (31) And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest. (32) Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive! (33) Such was Jesus, son of Mary: (this is) a statement of the truth concerning which they doubt. (34) It befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is. (35) And lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. That is the right path. (36)The sects among them differ: but woe unto the disbelievers from the meeting of an awful Day. (37) How well they hear and see and hear them on the Day they come unto Us! yet the evil-doers are to-day in error manifest. (38) And warn them of the Day of anguish when the case hath been decided. Now they are in a state of carelessness, and they believe not. (39) Lo! We Only, We inherit the earth and all who are thereon, and unto Us they are returned. (40) And make mention (O Muhammad) in the Scripture of Abraham. Lo! he was a saint, a prophet. (41)When he said unto his father: O my father! Why worshippest thou that which heareth not nor seeth, nor can in aught avail thee?

January 13 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 37-39

Key Verse – Genesis 39:3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

FAITH IN GOD WHO MAKES US TO PROSPER

God makes us to prosper, manifoldly blessing us against crises’ might
Moving our love along faith to bear fruits with divine delight
Moreover, bringing color to our lives His cheers so bright
Most of all, answering our prayers while we do what’s right.

God makes us to prosper, mightily reigning over us in His dominion
Moving our desire along faith to enjoy His fellowship midst sweet communion
Moreover, teaching us His Word, defying humanistic opinion
Most of all, working in our return to Him from wandering for glad reunion.

God makes us to prosper, marvelously delivering us from unholiness
Moving our eyes along faith to see His perspective against sins’ blurriness
Moreover, empowering us to profit in His contentment’s joyfulness
Most of all, guarding our hearts from foolishness and deceitfulness.

God makes us to prosper, miraculously transforming us toward His perfection
Moving our character-change along faith to glow by His compassion
Moreover, raising us up to see higher ground’s vision
Most of all, slaying our pride of displeasing action for humility’s function.

God makes us to prosper, morally wrapping us with His truth-covering
Moving our spirituality along faith to obey Him through His nurturing
Moreover, detracting us from materialism and idolatry-gearing
Most of all, instilling in our choice discernment upon wisdom-rearing.

God makes us to prosper, magnificently granting us Your grace
Moving our thanksgiving along faith to express always our worshipful praise
Moreover, providing us Your supplies of well-favoured ways
Most of all, pardoning our iniquities we confess without doubt’s trace.

God makes us to prosper, manageably in our pursuit for soulwinning
Moving our commitment along faith to share the Gospel midst trust-gaining
Moreover, upholding us in our great-commission and ministry training
Most of all, protecting our steps while our health You are sustaining. Amen!

36.
               The Rose

The garden rose by Nature's brush
Seems the perfect flower.
It sleeps before the autumn moon...
Is reborn of April showers.

I feel an empathy and compassion
For other flowers as they grow...
With their aesthetics somewhat muted
Compared to the glory of the rose.

                The End

                   37.
            The Daffodil

The daffodil in spring will rise
And in the garden grow.
It will slyly peak its head above
The last sprinkling of the snow.

Its appearance is a comfort
As a tired wintry corpse expires...
Giving way to a vernal transformation
Only Nature could inspire.

                The End

                    38.
           April's Blessing

April's sly peculiarities are a blessing
As the dregs of March are born away.
Cleansing a tired Nature's tribulations
Before the warmth of gentle May.

It gives source to seed and germ with
Unfathomable colors to flaunt the eye.
It plays mischievously upon my senses
To humble an enthusiast such as I.

Nothing contrasts to Nature's bounty
As she releases now her gentle showers...
Where orchids give rise to expectation
While still meadows bare their flowers.

Children... no strangers to April's booty
Find joyousness in all her grand oblations.
Splashing and sloshing in hooded dress
In puddles that stoke their imagination.

But April fills me with blissful consternation
As she makes bold her diverse complexion.
Because I... being me, have done nothing
To deserve such encompassing affection.

                 The End

                     39.
               Half a Ton

Hate must weigh a thousand pounds
While love will weigh but one.
There are those who find it amenable
Ferrying the weight that's half a ton.

They seem devoid of sense and reason
As to why they persevere... soon
Learning the manifestation in the mirror
Is all they truly fear.

                The End

                   40.
       Bucket Full of Stupid

There is a bucket full of stupid
Giving voice to maddening crowds
With no obvious rhyme or reason
Why they wear a Reaper's shroud.

Such times seem justly merited
With common sense in short supply
Considering the state of education
And the inane hebetude it provides.

                 The End

Mark 4:35-41

Wind and Wave Obey Jesus
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace,[a] be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How[b] is it that you have no faith?” 41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!” ~New King James Version

If we listen to the wind will we hear the call?
What of the years we spent “Back against the wall”

Years they come and they go “All is the same”
When you find yourself with a number for a name

First they load you on a bus in a paper suit
Making jokes with the homeboys “Bro you sure are cute”

Then comes the dreaded ride on the prison bus
Transport guards let you know “Don’t even mess with us”

You finally reach R&R really quite the treat
“I don’t care what you need I said take a seat”

As 5 minutes passes by you think of all the years
Getting set in your mind to face all your fears

You do the things that you must do in order to survive
Unless your one of the unlucky ones who doesn’t make it out alive

You don’t even realize that you are overwhelmed with hate
As the day finally comes and you make it out the gate

Then your back on the streets as healthy as can be
Hooking up the party life like when you were free

Just as though some real smart dude planned this to design
Because of the number on your back you are right back doing time

Then you catch a second term and this one is a strike
Nothing new ahead of you it’s just like riding a bike

Soon as you hit the yard you fall into your routine
Everyday like the one before one hell of a bad dream

Then again you are released but nothing is as it seems
Because your life has turned into one long desperate dream

You are driven by a desire to rise up to the top
For some reason that desire just won’t seem to stop

Even though your doing well against everything you feel
You go against your heart and soul to conjure up a deal

As the pitcher takes the mound you step to the plate
Problem is he’s throwing hard and you are swinging late

You want so bad to hit the ball as it whizzes by
You hang your head full of dread with no tears left to cry

Now you’re back in the cell with an L and 37 years
Maybe now you’ll have the time to face all those fears

The year’s forever come and go like dust in the wind
The only thing that I know “I sure do miss my friend”

I dedicate this poem to my dear friend

Premium Member On Silly Childish Stickers

I scribbled quickly
As they wrote their final exam
Little notes of appreciation
A special individualized message
Thanking each student
For having been in my class
And for bringing me joy
Reminding each one
Of the potential that lies within
For each is a remarkable individual
A personalized message
Of encouragement
And a shared Bible verse
Psalm 37: 4

This was a special class
Made up of pastors
A journalist
An architect
Adults from different walks of life
Some married
Others single
Some shy
Others bold
All wanting to become
Better writers
What an amazing group
My French came in handy
With my students from Algeria
How I loved their French accent
As they tried to pronounce
The bothersome words in English
Leaving a never ending smile on my lips

After they spent an hour writing
I made them pause
To have home baked brownies
I’d made from scratch
Along with a soft drink
A time to relax…

Refreshed
They continued on their essays
And I decorated each note
With stickers
“Great Work”
“Way to Go”
“Excellent”
“You are a Star”
And for the women
Lots of hearts!
I love hearts
They decorate my office
Pillows
Key rings
Earrings
And now
My little notes
Which came straight from my heart

Each one got to exchange the finished essay
For a handwritten note from the teacher
I said with a sheepish grin
“These stickers are not because you are a child….
But…because I am!
I am a child at heart!"

That brought smiles
And a hug from
The journalist from Brazil
“I’m going to cry,” she said.
As she gave me a bear hug
My heart sang
They had learned to love writing
What greater joy could be mine?

The Brazilian journalist
Met me in church last Sabbath,
Gave me another warm hug and said,
“Teacher, thank you for the note
You inspired me to do my best.”
And what she couldn’t articulate well
Sparkled in her eyes
And danced in her hand motions

Silly little stickers
Simple little words
A whole lot of love
Love for my students
EVERYONE needs some encouragement
Everyone needs to know
That inside the heart resides
A wealth of beauty longing to be expressed
A piece of the soul that longs to live forever
In the written word

I thank God I’m a teacher
After all,
I’m in good company
For, the GREATEST Teacher of all time
Jesus Christ
Is my mentor!

B5-37 God Know Us Better Than We Know Ourself

All those aspects that we know as part and parcel of human life fall short of the love of God that He desires for us to operate in. The love that He wants us to operate is unconditional. That’s the love of God which says while we were still sinners He died for us. While we were enemies He died for us. In fact when the Lord Jesus Christ died, everyone of His disciple forsook Him. Sometimes when we think about the Lord Jesus we only think about the six hours He died on the cross. But we forgot one thing that Jesus coming into the world for suffering. Coming to live with us in the mud of life. In the mud, the death and the clay of life. He is perfection, Jesus Almighty God, Word of God, perfect in holiness, perfect in righteousness, perfect in every way, coming down to live among imperfect men and women for thirty years. He bored up with all that. For thirty years He lived among sinful men. We may not appreciate the fact because we know sin from our past. But Jesus had never known a single sin. Sin to Him was horrible yet He lived among sinners for thirty years, lived with people with sinful thoughts, sinful words, sinful actions all around Him. That’s suffering for Him. He ministered for thirty years. I would consider the time when He went to the cross as the climax and not the only time He suffered. He suffered through out His thirty-three years on this earth. He suffered in the presence of sin. He can’t tolerate it. But the climax of God came when He went on trial. We want to see how His love for us was without condition.

In the book of Matthew 26, as His last days came during His ministry, in Matthew 26: 36-39 “Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, ‘Sit here while I go and pray over there.’ And He took with Him Peter and two sons of Zebedee and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me. He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, ‘O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Your will.”

My Beloved, In Love's Embrace - Part - 11 - Valentine's Collection - 2020

37.
My beloved, you ever shine,
in all of my dreams, you are mine,
you are ever my Valentine.
In praise, I do caress you soft,
lifting your glowing heart aloft,
memories held in my heart’s loft.
Now, come and take wing, precious love,
you are love, in Heaven above,
you shall ever be my soft dove.

In praise, the birds do sing their song,
around your temple, they do belong,
sing our song, away from the throng,
In praise, flowers begin to sing,
together, we fly on love’s wing,
now, you are my everything.

Beside the starlight stream, we lie,
in passion’s embrace, we do fly.
38.
In passion’s embrace, we do fly,
we give our hearts to the night sky,
our sweet love shall sing, by and by.
When you are near, Luna shining,
the stars are our silver lining,
our hearts, they shall not be pining.

My love, I do feel love supreme,
you lie with me, within our dream,
in sacred dreams, you are my theme.
You are my beauty, Heaven’s grace,
you are my light, in Heavenly space,
our love shines, in love’s embrace.

Come, beloved, with me, do lie,
emotions, they can rise so high.
39.
Emotions, they can rise so high,
dreams of love, they do surely fly,
our deep love, it shall never die.
Shared within the confines of dream,
love, that is more than it may seem,
a joy sublime, a love supreme.

In love sublime, we share our peace,
within our love, all sorrows cease,
I now find joy, in love’s release.
In primal passion, our song sung,
with love’s fine grace, our hearts are stung,
joy comes forth when love’s bell is rung.

Come, my love, where the eagles cry,
on clouds of emotion, we do lie.
40.
On clouds of emotion, we do lie,
emotions, they can rise so high,
in passion’s embrace, we do fly.
What glory does dwell in our dreams?
In our joy, love is as it seems,
caressed by love-light, in moonbeams.

What wonders we see in the night,
your wondrous joy, love’s brightest light,
memories, dreams that shine so bright.
Passions we sow, love’s wondrous seed,
within love’s dreams, fulfill our need,
on gentle love, our hearts shall feed.

Always remember, love we knew,
in praise, Luna shines upon you.
