I wrote since my elementary days, but I stopped..Just lately, maybe brought about by challenging situations and so much free time, I started to write, again....Most of my compositions talk about my day to day thoughts, my reflections, my experiences with the world and with God, events and whatever  crosses my mind....It is a transparent "me" and I hope to whoever will read , they will be inspired one way or another..

Most of my compositions are triggered by contests sponsored by the Premium Soup Members,  probably joining time to time from these, it developed and enhanced my writing in a way. Anyhow, I always managed to put myself within these poems. I can say that writing poems is now one of my fave hobbies.

I am a learner of poetry. This is definitely shown in my poems, different types and different subjects... I am a Filipina, born August 13, 1986.  English is not my native tongue. I render care with all kinds of people regardless of creed, age, religion and race.

Instead of speaking up, I intend to burst it all to poetry and by just singing........................... :) some will criticize as it is full of emotions or its "emo" but it is alright.. :) all I want to do is to express the things, I can't seem to say.

my compositions are my "hide outs", my fantasies,, my dreams and so long yearnings. I don't collect material things as like shoes, books, cds, paintings or so. however, these are my collections: MY POEMS. :)!

Fellow Soupers, 

    Happy day! smiley

   I received a soupmail regarding my contest: TREMBLES and THRILLS, to all those who tried my other tricky contests: BLOSSOMS and BUBBLES, GUTS and GAINS, SWEATS and SWEETS probably you know now how to attack such theme.. 

You are in the right track if you are thinking that TREMBLES and THRILLS is about anything.angel

  In our example, we may not have mention literally the words but I believe we presented the theme within the lines of our poem....enlightened

Where else can one feel TREMBLES and THRILLS?
What events or happenings produce such?

   I can think of  ways wherein there is... say when you are scared, when there is the festive arousing harmony and melody... when one is in love... when one is excited... when one tries a thrilling ride... when one is in cramming...

   I am looking for creativity and the unique way you present your poem. James and me are quite picky because we want to give you the best of the best among the entries. `til this day, I do not consider myself so capable hence I still ask him to help me. Fortunately, most of the time we agree to the winners placement. To the times we are not, we deliberate and go down to the minute details.

  I can still remember, how we were blown away by the entries of the past contests. I am always struck with taunts that are quite challenging and tricky. blushsurpriselaughyes

  In my absence d, I am sad of the news regarding some of our friends leaving Soup. I stayed here in Soup because I found a family here and more. I so hope that we all stick to the good reasons we are writing. Let our words speak of kindness and inspiration, drop the thoughts to label anyone black. cool

  We have our own styles, our own weaknesses and strengths in writing, let it spill to our pens mightily and freely.

OOOPPPSSSS... The short form stopped me... Why must I be soooo long winded... Honestly! I guess Dragon just isn't a short kind of guy... Or I'm crazy... Probably the later... Will catch you in a later contest...
