Author's Notes: "The Walk of Love" is a co-authored write by Liam McDaid and me. It is an allegorical and spiritual tale of fantasy, hope, love, and eternal promise as reflected in a divine love and relationship between a man and woman. Do enjoy "The Walk of Love." The Walk of Love With you now entering this heart enchanting with rose petals You’re the sweetest flower dancing tunes inside one’s mind Once upon a fairy tale dream adoring you my loving princess You begin rising in the east amazing light crowning sunshine Ultraviolet radiance glowing warm with rays of deep breaths Inner sighs as you walk softly on the deepest of sands My Love Your footprints are so soft and deeply touching Sweet Honey As your loving gentleness sweeps me away into a paradise pure Where we walk hand in hand smiling with such feeling and joy In a thousand dreams floats one treasure of Golden Happiness Your joy sparks liquid honey melting gold into our heartbeats Fluttering on wings of a butterfly silently flying in the cool air With the sweetest scent of the purest jasmine now pervading all Breathless beauty as an angel of the heart sings a paean of delight While the warm air dances on a flower kissing a breeze so softly Flocks of beautiful birds sing you praises of glory that be forever As they fly with such grace and their hearts beat softly in rhythm Landing on paradise as your words touch with whispers my soul Resonating into the deepest crevices of my ethereal psyche true While echoing inside the chambers of your lucent pretty presence Holding hands as the sunlight beams your every foot step now As shadows silver dancing waves call out one name within each Echo crashing salted sure your spices kiss our magic moments As a gentle but sensual wind kisses the lips of a lovely Sweet Siren As she holds us in her dreams of a wonderful love so rich and pure We share the Dream of a thousand lifetimes beyond all compare As twelve rich red roses blush in the heavens where one diamond Shines so brightly with a rainbow array of heavenly colors pure Reflecting God’s own divine design and wish for us to keep our Eternal promise now My Love with a ring symbolizing us as One Gary Bateman and Liam McDaid – A Collaborated Poem, Copyright © All Rights Reserved (July 12, 2015) (Unrhymed Tercet)

Hello Freddie!! See you've been going back in my archive for this Tercet from 2015. (This one will in fact eventually appear in my second book of poetry which is currently under long-term development; it will get published though for sure in the future.) This is one that Liam and I were able to intermix and blend our ideas and skills together to come up with enchanted write. I really like this one too!! We need to do some more of these in the future. I know that Liam, as I am, certainly appreciate your words and the FAV!! too!! (The Tercet is a spin-off form from the original Terza Rima that Poetry Soup uses in their pick-list of categories. The Tercet (aka: Triplet) can be rhymed or unrhymed. John Drury's "The Poetry Dictionary," among many other sources has one of the explanations the Tercet form in relation to the Terza Rima and other variations. I hope this helps!!) Thanks Alexis!! I'm glad you dropped by too to read this co-write from Liam and me. He and I had completed another one on July 5th ("Mother Nature's Little Prince") for which Liam got POTD recently for his post of it. Although we both, of course, independently write our own poems, we do team on certain fantasy, love, fairy tale themes we both find interesting and have a passion for. Recommend you check out "Always a Dream" which is a fairy tale write we both did last year about Leprechaun and a Fairy Princess who eventually become a Prince and Princess (similar to "Mother Nature's Little Prince). "Always a Dream" is listed under my poems, dated 29 Oct 14. Thanks for the "7" too. (Liam will probably respond separately.) Cheers, Gary

I know that both Liam and I really enjoy our collaborations particularly on the fantasy and love themes. I believe also that the quality of our writes has continued to improve over time as we do more and more of these types of writes.
