I wrote since my elementary days, but I stopped..Just lately, maybe brought about by challenging situations and so much free time, I started to write, again....Most of my compositions talk about my day to day thoughts, my reflections, my experiences with the world and with God, events and whatever  crosses my mind....It is a transparent "me" and I hope to whoever will read , they will be inspired one way or another..

Most of my compositions are triggered by contests sponsored by the Premium Soup Members,  probably joining time to time from these, it developed and enhanced my writing in a way. Anyhow, I always managed to put myself within these poems. I can say that writing poems is now one of my fave hobbies.

I am a learner of poetry. This is definitely shown in my poems, different types and different subjects... I am a Filipina, born August 13, 1986.  English is not my native tongue. I render care with all kinds of people regardless of creed, age, religion and race.

Instead of speaking up, I intend to burst it all to poetry and by just singing........................... :) some will criticize as it is full of emotions or its "emo" but it is alright.. :) all I want to do is to express the things, I can't seem to say.

my compositions are my "hide outs", my fantasies,, my dreams and so long yearnings. I don't collect material things as like shoes, books, cds, paintings or so. however, these are my collections: MY POEMS. :)!

To all the poets who entered the guts and gain contest,  I thank you all for your support however I am sorry because I'll be posting late the winners.sad You all gave us a hard time judging.. We are still deliberating.. As much as possible, we want to give you the best among the rest... enlightenedlaugh

 

If your poem doesn't place for me that doesn't mean it isn't good,  just that it didn't satisfy much what James and me is looking for... Remember that like you, I also have same experiences but such failures didn't stop me from writing but more it pushed me to strive more.. Never competing to anyone but more focused in ways to improve my potentials....

My interests, real experiences, anything that catches my eyes beautiful or not or so and love to learn are my stimulants and catalyzers...

Thank you to the person(huge one) who gave me the Lifetime Membership... smileyblush Even if I can afford, I sure will not apply for that, I'd rather spend it to other things but weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I so appreciate this gesture.. Rest assured that I will not stop writing. I will try and try to post poems that embodies as others say here "my unique style" and more.... I will continue penning poems that comes directly from my heart although sometimes I do make my poems deep... wink

Same here Broken Wings I really don't mind placing... I'm more excited on the inspiration I get from the contests and the probabilities of learning... =') Placing is a bonus....!! I want always an evaluation as this gives me an avenue to improve what better way is by having others say views and comments.. and well passing tests.. i consider contests as my exams to poetry... :D
