I wrote since my elementary days, but I stopped..Just lately, maybe brought about by challenging situations and so much free time, I started to write, again....Most of my compositions talk about my day to day thoughts, my reflections, my experiences with the world and with God, events and whatever  crosses my mind....It is a transparent "me" and I hope to whoever will read , they will be inspired one way or another..

Most of my compositions are triggered by contests sponsored by the Premium Soup Members,  probably joining time to time from these, it developed and enhanced my writing in a way. Anyhow, I always managed to put myself within these poems. I can say that writing poems is now one of my fave hobbies.

I am a learner of poetry. This is definitely shown in my poems, different types and different subjects... I am a Filipina, born August 13, 1986.  English is not my native tongue. I render care with all kinds of people regardless of creed, age, religion and race.

Instead of speaking up, I intend to burst it all to poetry and by just singing........................... :) some will criticize as it is full of emotions or its "emo" but it is alright.. :) all I want to do is to express the things, I can't seem to say.

my compositions are my "hide outs", my fantasies,, my dreams and so long yearnings. I don't collect material things as like shoes, books, cds, paintings or so. however, these are my collections: MY POEMS. :)!

Many a time the poems I have submitted were inspired by the contests conducted here. The theme as well as how the sponsor enumerates his/her instructions and requirements sparks and electrifies the neurons in my head(hyperbole ehcheekyenlightened) .

Almost two years now that I am a member here in PoetrySoup, smiley pushed and pushed by those persons whom I forwarded some short popping thoughts everyday (back in Saudi) so it is here where I grew.

winkThis blog is kindled by Rhonda's comment on our poem(me and James Fraser): SWEATS AND SWEETS. I  love puzzles, mixing and matching things, trying, etc...  And so the contests so far that I offered here comes from say "my creative and wild imagination"cheekylaughenlightenedwherein from such titles one can perceive lots of interpretations. I actually experiment it first with my constant poetry partner: James Fraser,  asking him of what he thinks and taunting him to collaborate with me. Among the two contests I offered, he said and from my observation he had a harder time on the first{Blossoms and Bubbles). I was by the way the one choosing the forms when we pen. smiley 

SWEATS and SWEETS when this came to my mind, immediately four interpretations came to my mind which I presented to James but he thinks the one among the four  is a "weak" interpretation. The other three I had in mind exemplifies both the two main words as one. From the three, I asked James to choose one and so our poem.

some of my interpretations include:

1) SUCCESS --- poverty is not the hindrance to success; hardwork and diligence

2) exercise

3) physical expression of love

4) cooking some desserts
