i know, i know... i left you guys when this mildly excruciating scoliosis made me go into physial therapy that i associated the back pain with poetry writing , hence,  my eyes could not stand the sight of a laptop... it wasn't normal for me to dismiss the computer but i  found no other alternative...

good thing, the nerve test was normal...still , craning my neck and lounging on a chair for hours left my torso numb, my muse dumb...yes, i tried the ipad and cellphone to no avail...

then came the holidays,  my january birthday, travels, death of an aunt, and finally this darn pandemic...just between us guys, my ortho doesn't know i am being a truant now, pounding the keys for 2 days...

what is life without painting, writing, doing advanced yoga? terrible!... i am grateful though for my stubborn streak as it made me experiment ways to get my groove back-- dancing, lifting the legs, brisk walking, listening to mood music--  and ease all restrictions of spine troubles ( blame it on heredity, no other excuses)...

thank you to those who soupied me and friends who knew beforehand i was achinggg;; i'll respond via mail soonest ...

moving forward, i will sponsor a contest as my redeeming act, lol !

shall we let the games begin?... you are all part of my crazy, charmed world... huggs!

So glad to see you back Nette. I truly understand the scoliosis and not being able to do things. I had the cast, braces and surgery to correct it years ago but still suffer with back aches and neck problems. I was doing to much time on the computer so cut back drastically and understand. I hope you were able to find relief. Sending prayers your way. Hugs love phyl

You are a calming presence, Nette, and it is much needed these days, (you missed some truly horrid and negative stuff here) ... always happy to see a friendly face return, and I am particularly fond of Asian eyes, (just wrote about it!). I will check out the contest ... I saw my buddy Andrea's post below - I went away to prep school and they did NOT teach typing, so I never got it, while my siblings DID - I STILL type with just TWO fingers, but I'll wager I'm one of the fastest two-finger typists around, lol ... I started early in the family pharmacy, typing RX labels at age ten, lol! I had to take it for two semesters before it "kicked in" for me. Honestly, no other class really taught me a skill of practical use except for that one!! And my creative writing instilled love of writing in me.
