WITH ONLY A FEW HOURS ON SOUP...

the first thing i do when i am on soup is open my inbox for the latest updates.. this takes about 30 minutes!.. having finished that, posting a new poem is next in my agenda.. ohh drat!!... sometimes tech problems get in the way, and before i know it, the clock is now pulsing...

faster i go to comment on as many pieces from poets who have visited my work, likewise, send my messages to new entries.. of course, the latter takes a while as i do absorb a poem to make sure my feedback has some personal insights...

wham!..now, i rush to share my 2 cents in a few blogs... by now, the umpire in my head yells "last few minutes!"... in a daze, i check the members' contest and the winners' page..

lately, i miss out on congratulating the champs who placed in exciting challenges, not to mention our POTD, POTW awardees... if my fingers can't outrun the alarm, please know that i am cheering for all winners out there!... on some days, i do have the leisure to lounge for about 4 hours.. then i make up for what i may have missed!... a headless chicken, that's me, lol..

how about you, guys?.. what are the features on soup you wish you had enough time to relish more but cannot due to the nagging of time?... do tell!

Missed this blog, just read and great blog, its as true as you are beautiful. I wish I had so much more time here, and I tend to do things here by random jumping all over the place. Thus why I love the photo! I Just do the best I can, and tell everyone, if I have overlooked a gem, email me or let me know! I am just so happy to have met so many nice people here! Hugs!

I've found that I need to be more selective- I have a list of Poets I follow, but I daren't add to them very often otherwise what limited time I have online gets swallowed up reading, commenting and replying to all fellow croutons out there. The site layout doesn't always help, since it doesn't fit on one page, and I'll often forget to welcome a new poet or look at a POTD. So much to do at this time of year, too- 'Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana'. Viv x

I wish I had more time to read more poets'poems,no matter how much I try to read before I sleep,I always manage to leave someone out and its sad. Secondly,wish I had time to reply to comments received ,and thirdly have time to post more poems : ).Nice blog.

I come in at least once a week due to my hectic schedule. What would make me feel good is commenting on poems and greeting new members/ guests the way I was welcomed here on Poetry Soup. This blog woke me up.

I wish I had more time to do poems, Nette. I spend a lot of time returning comments so I get plenty of reading in. Not always, but once in a while there will be a great contest that just fills up too fast. Other than that, I manage ok! HOpe you are all ready for Xmas. Just wrapping gifts is all I have left to do!!

Lack of time, bad memory, countless family duties and other health problems have severely hurt my participation here so much this last year. I try hard but forget so much. I miss so much now. Wish I could do again like I did my first year here.
