our time zones are different but this february 1, broken wings will be celebrating  her special birthday!..

she is a dear one , always haunting us with her poignant songs  and  spilling joy through her warm responses, humor and wit...

here's wishing you, cat- and- people lover, many years of bliss, adventures, and sweet laughter! .. enjoy your moment, broken wings!

Nette, I love the cat image, that is exactly what my cat Snuggles would do, get her nosey nose right up to the candles for a sniff. At the Japanese Restaurant that my friends took me, the restaurant gave me a birthday dessert, it was fried ice cream, it had a candle on it and a small umbrella, I know that sounds nuts , frying ice cream but it was really good, sort of a hard surface on the outside and ice cream on the inside with a side of whipped cream, and they played happy birthday music and everyone in the restaurant clapped , thanks to all my poetic friends, you are precious gems ~

oh also, some friends got me a vintage necklace as I am fond of vintage jewelry, I wanted nothing, but I cannot stop them !!! And I do love the piece so much.

Cyndi, I have two gift certificates so far, one for a clothing store called The Garage and the other for Ardene, not sure if you have those stores in your city, but I am a big fan of these stores, I just love their clothing selections, so I see shopping in my future, perhaps Monday afternoon I will get myself something divine and sublime ...

I was actually suppose to be a Christmas baby, well Christmas went by and so did New Years and then January went by and my mother said to her doctor, if this baby does not come by January 31, I want her out... and thus, I was born February 1, I always told my mother "you forced me out into the world" and she would say laughing, "you are darn right, I did" So I wonder was I suppose to be an Aquarius or what, and how could the dates get so messed up, anyways, apparently I was born with a full head of black hair that I soon lost and I was told I was very quiet as a baby, my mother said, that sort of worried her, and then she said, oh gosh, that girl talks a lot, oh the questions, thanks everyone ~

Nette, thank you so much for doing this blog for my birthday on Feb 1, I never want to celebrate my birthday and if people go to my poem, The Birthday Party, you will know why, however, my friends and family will have none of that, last night my friends took me out for supper, it was a Japanese Restaurant and I was hesitant but it was actually delicious, and on Monday, my only and beloved sister is taking me out for lunch, family is everything and friends are treasures, thank you to all who have left birthday wishes, you are all flowers in my bouquet and Nette is the prettiest of the roses... thank you ~~
