WHERE WERE YOU LAST NIGHT?

i'm a friday-saturday girl who enjoys a fun nightlife, whether this be a quiet coffee chat with friends, a rockin' rolling gig in a bar , or time for cruising the park/ promenade..

something about these thousands of lights everywhere wakes me up and allows me flow!... ohh, the moon and stars hanging above can turn the magic up!

last night, while i was dressing up to meet my former college students for a reunion-- in my LBD ( little black dress)-- i felt dizzy from a flu relapse... ewwwh!

to save my night, i roamed near my place and had a dose of juicy steakburger with a neighbor at HATCH 22.. the light indoor music made me feel better ( wow for the instrumental 80s beat )..

by 9 pm, i was home-- too early for an owl like me!.. taking my LBD off, i was back in my jammies!.. i tell ya, i missed two special events this week; i was so looking forward to these.. NOT!... spent my thursday in the hospital room for bloodworks, ECG, x-rays, and all those insane stuff!

so, how was last night ?.. where were you?... bring it on!.. i want to get out of this RUT !..:)

Blog posted on 2/9 and today is 2/14 and so what if I'm late? For the past few nights I've been practicing the art of couch potatoing watching basketball on ESPN and the Olympics, mostly the women's events. Men's figure skating? Gimmie a break! Women's? Oh yeah! Sorry if I'm being sexist here but I'm a man and it can't be helped...I prefer women's tennis to men's too so there!...Hatch 22 huh? Wonder what the were hatching? I'm quite sure it was an evil plot to undermine me and ruin my reputation and no, I am NOT paranoid either...

I think you're thinking of Dawn of the Dead. This is a TV show on AMC. It's one of the few that I actually like to watch.

Your blog title caught my attention. I was on my comp for a bit to fix a poem for Roy J. Later, I sent a long-time friend off to the airport on a chilly hour, but all was good! Don't you hate temporary goodbyes? Nice one, Nette!

I was going to sleep and saw your blog..Where I was ?I was watching the Malta song for Europe contest yesterday.Today I was out for a picnic on such a windy with sun spells morn..with friends I had since school days..Im 36 now..So We ve been friends since eleven yrs old(since forever : )Now Im watching American idol and reading ..erasing some old poems of mine that really suck..But am sleeping early.Tomorrow is a holiday {St Paul`s day}on the isle and I intent to wake up early and enjoy the day.Goodnight dear..lovely blogB-)

I'm only able to cook my Mom square meals on the wkend...so I slow roasted St. Louis Ribs at 250 degrees for 5 hrs. at her apt. last nite and finished them with organic bbq sauce (I don't like high fructose corn syrup) boring, but satisfied Ma got some fat and protein in her ..she has lost about 40 lbs. since her last stroke...jimbo

you make me long for my single days. I did poetry soup and then watched a bunch of shows while I ate my sunflower seeds in bed. hahaha (very few calories in them compared with popcorn!)

You sound like my Mom, lol. I had a swell time considering that it was my first time to be the maid-of-honor in a cousin's wedding. Felt so nice in a vintage gown with floral band on my hair! It was a memorable night for me!

You wanna know the truth? I had to go overtime since the tyrant in the office had to leave for a biz trip.I like this blog but not the pressure from last night's work! It's bridge game for me later with the guys; my wife needs a piece of me so I'm bringing her to this cosmetic fair(?).

Where was I? Same place I am every night: AT HOME LOL! In my jammies watching cartoons while snuggled up with my fur babies and my partner, Ricky. My life is the antithesis of exciting lol But I'm happy for the quiet life now; I got all my partying out of me in my 20's. I've gone form wild to mild ;)
