Currently, I'm spending my time writing poetry trying to make a small, yet positive difference in this world... one word at a time.

May I say I do not wish any offence. But…being Scottish, I did not enjoy the performance one little bit. The sentiment of the song is completely lost. I understand time and tide move on and things change. I’ve taken the liberty of including a poem. I wrote some years ago Sing it right What scoundrel did by low design? Put “ the days” in auld lang syne. It never was Burns intention. That “the days” should rate a mention And what is “sake.” For goodness sake. What felon give us that mistake? “ sake” a word Rob didn’t utter So leave it out it’s only clutter When ye sing it on the night. Honour the bard and sing it right Now may I wish you all good cheer A happy healthy prosperous year
