I am Robert James Liguori. I have authored several technical books including The Java Pocket Guide. I have spent twenty years in the aviation community doing software development and testing. Currently, I'm spending my time writing poetry trying to make a small, yet positive difference in this world... one word at a time.

What do you know about the Maya civilization? Well dive in deep with Iron Maiden's The Book of Souls song and you'll discover a world or wonderment. And then... go ahead and use your inspiration to write a poem for the contest. This is a challenging contest, but I have faith you can do it! Remember, we all love Iron Maiden. And I look forward to reading and judging your poems.
