I am Robert James Liguori. I have authored several technical books including The Java Pocket Guide. I have spent twenty years in the aviation community doing software development and testing. Currently, I'm spending my time writing poetry trying to make a small, yet positive difference in this world... one word at a time.

Today I had the honor of Poem of the Day (POTD), for writing about the challenges I have with not sleeping. In turn I have received numerous comments of love, support and information on others challenges as well. I hold these messages close to my heart and I want to thank each and everyone of you for being so kind. As most of you know I find healing through music, first is the epic sounds of Glenn Hughes and now Iron Maiden. I have been delighted to read and judge your own poetry in my inspiration contests. And this gives me purpose. I have also found some nice friends on soup who I love and cherish with always a kind word to be said. Thanks again and I am truly honored and touched by your comments on my POTD poem.
