I am Robert James Liguori.  I have authored several technical books including The Java Pocket Guide.  I have spent twenty years in the aviation community doing software development and testing.  Currently, I'm spending my time writing poetry trying to make a small, yet positive difference in this world... one word at a time.

When Iron Maiden took Poetry by Storm

2025 is the year that I was truly introduced to Iron Maiden. And what a ride it has been!  Their music, yet heavy, soothes the soul.  And people have been flocking in by the dozens to write for the new Iron Maiden inspiration poetry contest.  I can't help but say that the poetic entries have just been awesome.  Apparently people just love Iron Maiden.  Beware that the contest is soon to come to an end, so if you haven't written already... get on it.  So many albums, so many songs... just so dreamy.  So remember, we all love Iron Maiden... and make this the year that you discovered them too, if you haven't already!
