I am Robert James Liguori. I have authored several technical books including The Java Pocket Guide. I have spent twenty years in the aviation community doing software development and testing. Currently, I'm spending my time writing poetry trying to make a small, yet positive difference in this world... one word at a time.

Iron Maiden poetry contest results finalized

A little while ago I finalized the results of the Iron Maiden poetry contest... and let me tell you... the contest received some of the best poems ever written on poetry soup. My eyes water as I read the epic words that are released from your pens. It wasn't hard judging as the best words flowed to the top. But all entries were fantastic. My next contest on Iron Maiden's Dance of Death poem is also coming to an end. There's only five spots remaining but most of the winners have already been selected. You'll have to soar with greatness to make the top ten as the entries so far have been beyond awesome. Remember, we all love Iron Maiden. I already have in mind the prompt for the next contest... it will be the rave of soup. So post away and let the world breath in your life. Peace. Robert
