I am Robert James Liguori. I have authored several technical books including The Java Pocket Guide. I have spent twenty years in the aviation community doing software development and testing. Currently, I'm spending my time writing poetry trying to make a small, yet positive difference in this world... one word at a time.

Glenn Hughes, the Voice of Rock says that 'Music is the Healer'. Oh so true it is and so is poetry. Let us show our love for music by entering the new Glenn Hughes poetry contest. Just find a song you like that he sings and let the lyrics inspire you to write away. This is the eighth consecutive Glenn Hughes contest. As we all love Glenn.

Thanks for my win in your last contest. Sorry, my friend , but I do not love Glenn. hahaha i don't mind finding new songs of his to write about; however, I do wish you would give us other great singers as well. Pretty please.

Glenn Hughes has gotten me through some rough patches… this is why I select him for my contests and why I love him so much. So as long as I listen to his vinyl records through my sleepless nights, I will be tempted to include him as my hero. I hope you understand. Long live Glenn !
