I am Robert James Liguori.  I have authored several technical books including The Java Pocket Guide.  I have spent twenty years in the aviation community doing software development and testing.  Currently, I'm spending my time writing poetry trying to make a small, yet positive difference in this world... one word at a time.

Shadows of the Valley Poetry Contest

Have you heard the song Shadows of the Valley by Iron Maiden?  It is perhaps one of the greatest songs ever written and performed. This song will be the subject of inspiration for our next poetry contest. Tears of a Clown is quickly coming to an end and has rendered some of the best poetry ever written.  But I have a hunch that this next contest, Shadows of the Valley, will produce even greater submissions. So, you got your heads-up... listen to the song, get inspired and write away to your hearts desire. So remember, we all love Iron Maiden. And this is a premier contest, so the winner will get a digital trophy.  Good luck and as always, I look forward to reading and judging your poems!!!
