Premium Member One Vote

One vote by itself seems less than a wonder
for history is a much larger thing – millions
of nays, millions of yeas, to suggest one small
voice need be heard, to think any little voice could
make a large difference in the greater scheme seems
quite absurd. For one little vote a young man took a
bullet in the throat, left any Opera Ambitions in
Germany, never again to sing a cherished note,
just for the right to cast one tiny vote. For One vote,
Omaha beach took 2,400 lives. For One vote, another
29,000 died in Normandy. For One vote, 5.000 American
boys perished at Guadalcanal, another bloodstained shore.
All having died for one single vote, which democrats
counterfeit and Universities treat like a joke, faux
men in dresses stand in-front of students mocking
a great nation's selfless patriots who donned uniforms
to fight for a land they unitedly love and adore. Lost
limbs in battle yet proudly declare, for cherished freedom
we would honorably sacrifice more. Pervert Demigods, to mush
minded students, preach anarchy, the benefits of Marxist
society, promote all manor of deviant sex and brain deadening
recreational smoke. One vote. One vote. One vote.

At Last

At last

Today has come with a good feeling
I smile and am happy, more than usual
This anticipation builds, hard to think of random things
It is like a birthday, 5 yeas old, knowing that the days brings presents
I await only one.

I shop, cook, distract, at least try to
But nothing shakes my racing pulse
Counting time which seems to slow to a snail’s slow march
Yet I am here, waiting, wishing, pushing the seconds
Soon I think, soon

I look at the window, watch the leaves, it seems thousands fall in the passage of this wait
I am sure not but it feels so
Then I walk to and fro, no space of relax to find, no calmness
My excitement waxes high, dog seems to sense this and is also waiting
Then I hear it, a car horn, dog runs, I walk

I open the gate, open my arms
We hold, kiss, touch, at last
The wait over, the final second gone, we laugh, smile, kiss more
Together again, close, as one, enjoying the further moment
At last, no more need to wait

Do you want to hear Hurrays
Tired of boos; want some Yeas
Drop impulsive texts and tweets
Give the nation a welcome treat

Every time that you get mad
Take my advice, comrade --

Think what Abe Lincoln would say
Think what Abe Lincoln would do
He re-united a divided nation
Give it a try; maybe you can too

Premium Member The Diplomatic Dilemma

It was a secret mission
A vote was cast to make the decision
More yeas then neighs
Powers that be did say
To keep it under the radar
No talking at the bar
Without discussion
Quiet no cussing
Betting on trusting
It would be for the best
Getting the enemy to confess
Using a spy
Or a drone that can fly
To unearth a deadly lie
Is this a cool thing?
Or a planned daring fling
Done behind closed doors
Silence on the masses’ floor
If done with success
Leaders will address
Saying ‘we are impressed’
But if it fails
Someone gets nailed
There is a bust
Bodies are turned to ashes and dust
Sparking an honest integrity debate
Are these morals great?
Securing nation’s freedoms when at stake
There are other ways to get international relations done
Some are actually fun
Interacting with global others
Respecting daughters and brothers
Shaking a hand
A worthy command
To bring peace
And allow one’s body to decide when to be deceased

Rise and Fall

this is a heavy load
we've been down this road
to stop this pain
that make yeas rain
now our new goal
we must be a strong wall
 its our country
RISE AND
FALL

Through promise or vow,
That we know won't stay.
We cast emotional distress,
On another's day.

Our thoughts and words,
We must learn to tweak.
By being quick to listen,
And slower to speak.

God said, let yeas be yeas,
And your nays be nays.
Then in all situations,
Give Him words of praise.

Premium Member Abiding In the Love of God

Abiding in God’s love, I abound in His grace
Blessed with His salvation of eternal life’s rays
I live for the Lord in His might thru all my days.
Guided by the Holy Spirit for righteous ways
Assured am I to triumph in my Christian race.
Illumined thru His Word along faith-ushered pace
Led by His truth, I’m prospered* upon service-base.

Quest for His favor, I do with His sovereign mace
Upheld against deceitful yeas or scheming nays
Imparted with divine nature of holy brace.
Zealously, He meets my needs devoid of delays
Offering sweet fellowships where I seek His face...
Now and forever, I thank Him with wondrous praise.

III John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Premium Member One Ovation Standing

Time's gears move trickling
At the speed of sound,
Jotting verbs and urges
To make it sexy selling
Souls for fat drunken minutes
Draping rustic yeas and nays
To the critic, it's his job, you know.
Guys waiting, in line with their own,
To catch a glimpse and rote autograph
Signed 231 times today,
Stand and be worshipped,
Exiled author,
Tear down that wall,
Sweat the sweat of the sweet
Sweet sinner.
Crowned immaculate, and hung out to dry,
Beloved, curtsy god-given, and
Pull tight a freedom flag.

NOBEL PRIZE WINNER?

Nasal, sand paper gritty voice.
Why did he win the poetry Nobel?
“The answer my friend” may be
“blowin’ in the wind.”

What were the Swedes thinking
when they voted, what were they on?.
 Probably sat around
 saying
“everybody must get stoned.”

Some probably opposed the vote
How could it be unanimous?
The yeas said “don’t stand in the
doorway, don’t block up the hall.”

The chair tried to contact this
great man of counterculture
poetry. No response. The notice
on his website taken down.

Surly, snarling, reclusive.
His thought might have been
“Go away from my window……
I’m not the one you need.”

Will he come to Stockholm?
Will he stay hidden?
Perhaps we should ask
Quinn the mighty Eskimo.

Dragonfly

Jet,
yeas, it is mean clearly full ahead,
helicopter,
well, another oddly iron Robocopter.

But look for dragonfly
for his camouflaged flying
when he chased the flies and mosquitoes
and others supersensitive and artful pilots.

He is moved absolutely disorderedly
and unexplainable,
full ahead and full back
and topsy-torvy,
with instant accelerating
and the same deceleration,
from great speed
to complete stoppage on air
(as a crawling tiger on grasses
when a gout turn to backward) ,
creating fantastic maneuvers and tricks in 3D
of the blissful summers performance
on the edge of lake, hear me,
it’s the figures of greatest pilotages
said practiced aviators
from MIGs, Hornets and Phantoms
and other airs strikers and predators.

We Are the Fountain

We Are the Fountain

Yes we are the fountain
For those who need Christ
Yes we must let our fountain flow
With the faith, love, understanding, and unity
Yeas were the fountain of Christ
To spread and share His message
With all People of all Nations
Yes we are the fountain
To ever flow with God’s word
