The Eagle of Isaiah 40:31*…

Activating achievement-appearance
Blowing blessings’ brilliance
Carrying changes’ chance
Directing drive-dare despite distance…

Extending endurance effortlessly
Fueling faith-fervor fully
Greeting God’s goodness’ glow graciously
Hoisting hopefulness-height hastily…

Increasing influence in instructing
Joining journey’s joy-jolting
Kindling kindness keeping kindred-knitting
Leading love’s lighting…

Moving miracle-magnification mightily
Nurturing nourishment-needs naturally
Optimizing obedience-opportunities openly
Pushing productiveness powerfully
Quickening qualm-quakes quickly…

Refreshing revival-rejuvenation
Satisfying secured salvation
Tossing triumphant transformation
Unleashing understanding’s utilization…

Vanquishing villains victoriously
Working well worthily
Xing ‘xcuses ‘xcellently
Yelling Yahweh’s yeas yieldedly
Zooming to Zion’s zenith’s zealously!!!

*Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Social Outcast

I've been set aside
As if I should hide
I'm the social outcast
Let's see how long this lasts

I walk down the street
So may people to meet
But I see none to talk
So I guess I'll just walk

Saturday night rolls around
And I leave to go down town
So many parties to go to
But my social status is to low

I've been set aside
As if I should hide
I' the social outcast
Let's see how long this last

First day of a new school year
And it's all just as I feared
The preps and jocks over run us
Not like anyone cares if I make a fuss

They just need to wait
And I'll keep an eye on their fate
The looks and muscles will soon fade
Oh, won't that be a sad day

I've been set aside
As if I should hide
I'm the social outcast
Let's see how long that last

Fifteen yeas have past
I have climb the latter of success
That fast food joint your working at
yeah it's true, I own that

I'm not the social disease
I realize as you beg on your knees
You have five kids to feed
I can't imagine the help you need

Rise slowly from eastward, O western setting sun! Blaze
Anew! Get up, swell the human spirit says
Your constant companion moon of days,
Lending wonder to cardinals, chickadees and ‘jays
                            Who constantly concertize and amaze
Passersby who are in awe of the glaze
Of glory you send! The laze
Of summer creeps upon the landscape, pays
A visit with the promise of ways
                                            To leisurely wind our maze
Through vines tightly wound and gaze
Upon seashore, sand, and plum trees which raise
Our thoughts to delightful eating pleasures; a craze
Of oranges, cinnamons, and chocolates; sways
On breezes, lightly dancing across a phase
Of the setting sun; with piercing yeas
I cheer, settling on her face, the autumnal haze
                                  Reflecting in counterpoint to raze
                                       Prior passages and issue nays!
                                          Recreate browns and grays
                                       Metamorphosizing to new clays!

NOBEL PRIZE WINNER?

Nasal, sand paper gritty voice.
Why did he win the poetry Nobel?
“The answer my friend” may be
“blowin’ in the wind.”

What were the Swedes thinking
when they voted, what were they on?.
 Probably sat around
 saying
“everybody must get stoned.”

Some probably opposed the vote
How could it be unanimous?
The yeas said “don’t stand in the
doorway, don’t block up the hall.”

The chair tried to contact this
great man of counterculture
poetry. No response. The notice
on his website taken down.

Surly, snarling, reclusive.
His thought might have been
“Go away from my window……
I’m not the one you need.”

Will he come to Stockholm?
Will he stay hidden?
Perhaps we should ask
Quinn the mighty Eskimo.

We Are the Fountain

We Are the Fountain

Yes we are the fountain
For those who need Christ
Yes we must let our fountain flow
With the faith, love, understanding, and unity
Yeas were the fountain of Christ
To spread and share His message
With all People of all Nations
Yes we are the fountain
To ever flow with God’s word

Dragonfly

Jet,
yeas, it is mean clearly full ahead,
helicopter,
well, another oddly iron Robocopter.

But look for dragonfly
for his camouflaged flying
when he chased the flies and mosquitoes
and others supersensitive and artful pilots.

He is moved absolutely disorderedly
and unexplainable,
full ahead and full back
and topsy-torvy,
with instant accelerating
and the same deceleration,
from great speed
to complete stoppage on air
(as a crawling tiger on grasses
when a gout turn to backward) ,
creating fantastic maneuvers and tricks in 3D
of the blissful summers performance
on the edge of lake, hear me,
it’s the figures of greatest pilotages
said practiced aviators
from MIGs, Hornets and Phantoms
and other airs strikers and predators.

Carolyn Devonshire

Carolyn Devonshire
     By Dane Smith-Johnsen

Carolyn: Commendable poet who composes cheerful charming comments.
Articulate, admirable, agreeable, author awards an absolute awakening.
Romanticism redeemed by her reasonable reverberating reflections, regally.
Owns the odysseys’ omniscient opulence and oversees the outcome’s orderliness.
Luxurious lady lavishes luscious luster limiting links to her own laurels' limelight.
Yearning yonder yarns? Yes? Yearly yardsticks yield youthful yeas.
Numerous novice nymphs now notice the noble novel with nepotism.

Distinguished delicate, dedication delivers a diamond’s dazzling dawn.
Embarks extraordinary elevating endeavors with effervescent exuberance.
Valiantly, vibrantly victorious visionary’s vigor: valuable, venerated.
Outstanding observer owns originality and overcomes obstacles.
Narcotic narrations naturally nurture notable niceties, necessarily.
Splendid, stupendous superlatives skillfully sing spirited stirrings superbly.
Helpful heroine happily hopes for heaven’s historical harmony. Hearts hug.
Idolized intellectual invites inborn imagination; Identity immortalized.
Radiant, regal, remarkable romantic resurrects rich reason. Realizations remain.
Elegance etched in ecstatic euphoria enjoys everlastingly, you.

Dedicated to Carolyn Devonshire, a great poet, writer, and friend to Soupers.

Behind My Painted Smile

You want a million followers, I'm thankful to have a few numbers I can always dial
In 2018 I saw my life fall apart, I'm using those pieces to build on
I'm thankful I overcome my Suicidal thoughts and they weren't something I got killed from
I'm writing this to let you see behind my painted smile

I'm just trying to get to the root of my black thoughts
Of course I'm going to be dented when I've been loose on a crash course
In a world of lies
I always give the truth that they ask for

My heart is aching and my head is sore
But who am I to complain when there's kids who have bled in war?
When it comes to love and relationships I think everyone fails
It was only in the last few years I learned the difference between being horny and being in love, but I think that's a fault of every young male

2 yeas too late but Stacey I messed up when I broke up with you, I know you've got a new man now
When you try to keep your head above water you will always see a few plans drown
But by letting you go I ended holding myself hostage
I hope you're happy because you deserve it, now I need to change the topic

Meg I'm unsure why we're not speaking but you're the girl I always wanted to be together with
I hope we start speaking again soon, as Life is too short but we can't measure it
In 2018 I saw my life Sinking but now I have a better ship
Now I feel like I'm Messi in front of goal, I'll never miss

I don't care about what youtubers are arguing or what celebrities are beefing
I'm focused on my lost friendships and trying to connect the dots to get us speaking
I understand it's great to be on the same page as people
But I've learned that it's better when both sides are willing to do the reading

I'm not into following trends
Some people get left behind I know that
Sometimes you have to continue your journey and not go back
But if we're in this we're in this together, I'm not into following friends

The past is done, I'm an open book and I'm holding no grudges
I'm forgiving myself for mistakes I made and don't care for any judgement
I needed to write this so you could see behind my painted smile
But 2019 is my fresh start and I haven't felt this happy or strong in a while

Key Verse – Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR GRANTING ME UNDERSTANDING

Thank You for granting me understanding of Your Word
Whenever I seek You without being bored
Becoming prayerful along Your provision-rays
Surely learning from Your statutes I taste as sweet apple, not bitter gourd.

Thank You for granting me understanding of Your ways
Whenever I trust You without delays
Becoming prayerful along Your provision-rays
Surely depending on Your answers of yeas and nays.

Thank You for granting me understanding of Your wisdom
Whenever I prioritize You without feelings of stardom
Becoming eager to advance Your kingdom
Surely enjoying through Your spiritual freedom.

Thank You for granting me understanding of Your worthiness
Whenever I fellowship with You without guiltiness
Becoming delighted with Your holiness
Surely repenting of my sinfulness while begging for Your forgiveness.

Thank You for granting me understanding of Your will
Whenever I abide in You without hypocrisy to stay still
Becoming focused on triumphant Calvary’s hill
Surely obeying Your commandments upon Your promises that fulfill.

Thank You for granting me understanding of Your watch-care
Whenever I hide in You without fears’ nightmare
Becoming grateful that You behold me with Your loving stare

Premium Member Abiding In the Love of God

Abiding in God’s love, I abound in His grace
Blessed with His salvation of eternal life’s rays
I live for the Lord in His might thru all my days.
Guided by the Holy Spirit for righteous ways
Assured am I to triumph in my Christian race.
Illumined thru His Word along faith-ushered pace
Led by His truth, I’m prospered* upon service-base.

Quest for His favor, I do with His sovereign mace
Upheld against deceitful yeas or scheming nays
Imparted with divine nature of holy brace.
Zealously, He meets my needs devoid of delays
Offering sweet fellowships where I seek His face...
Now and forever, I thank Him with wondrous praise.

III John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Premium Member One Ovation Standing

Time's gears move trickling
At the speed of sound,
Jotting verbs and urges
To make it sexy selling
Souls for fat drunken minutes
Draping rustic yeas and nays
To the critic, it's his job, you know.
Guys waiting, in line with their own,
To catch a glimpse and rote autograph
Signed 231 times today,
Stand and be worshipped,
Exiled author,
Tear down that wall,
Sweat the sweat of the sweet
Sweet sinner.
Crowned immaculate, and hung out to dry,
Beloved, curtsy god-given, and
Pull tight a freedom flag.

Premium Member The Diplomatic Dilemma

It was a secret mission
A vote was cast to make the decision
More yeas then neighs
Powers that be did say
To keep it under the radar
No talking at the bar
Without discussion
Quiet no cussing
Betting on trusting
It would be for the best
Getting the enemy to confess
Using a spy
Or a drone that can fly
To unearth a deadly lie
Is this a cool thing?
Or a planned daring fling
Done behind closed doors
Silence on the masses’ floor
If done with success
Leaders will address
Saying ‘we are impressed’
But if it fails
Someone gets nailed
There is a bust
Bodies are turned to ashes and dust
Sparking an honest integrity debate
Are these morals great?
Securing nation’s freedoms when at stake
There are other ways to get international relations done
Some are actually fun
Interacting with global others
Respecting daughters and brothers
Shaking a hand
A worthy command
To bring peace
And allow one’s body to decide when to be deceased
