Ying or Yang?

New eyes slowly open,

White light softly greets them.

New life will be copin',

Am I uhh...Her...or uhh...Him?

Mother's milk...suckled sweet.

Tasty! But a little crude!

An arching stream floods their feet,

Guess I came out...uhh...Dude!

Tai One On

I wasn't long in Hong Kong,
before I saw my first tai chi,
and it gave me the strangest notion,
the exercisers, advancing all in a row,
were line dancing in slow motion.

and, set to soothing, soulful music,
the male practitioners suggestively sang,

Reflecting on times, ones perfectly certain,
Without shadows of doubt on the mind,
As though shining, waiting by black or white curtains,
As though truth were so easy to find,
So clear now it seems, contrary to say,
Such clarity is not in the slightest,
As black, surely, but one dark shade of grey,
And pure white, just another, the lightest.

Blaze of dawn ascends,
Fire dances in the sky,
Strength in every breath.

Light and Dark

The yin and yang 
Of heavy heart
Orange female tiger 
Male azure dragon with spark

Jubilant jaded laugh
Inside jaundice jokes
One can follow one’s path
Face what lies ahead with hope

It cannot be helped
You must weather storm
Life isn’t always fair
Always be in true form

Let go and let God
Grannie sings with faith

Yin, Yang, Big Bang

  Where my yin meets my yang
    I hear a dissonant clang

  My physician traced it back 
    all the way to the ‘Big Bang’

  Seems I hopped aboard an asteroid
    went for a wild ride

  Hit my head on a comet

Life is a mixture of contrasts and opposite polarities 
North-south east and west 
Sadness and pleasure
Winter and summer
Empty pockets others full of treasure
Female and males
Dark and light
Kittens with whiskers and puppies with wagging tails
Hot and cold
War or peace
Living or dead
Young and old

They claim that variety is the spice of life
A sweet love song
Or a lament

Yin - Yang

the silence that listens -
the stillness that anticipates

what is one
becomes the other

   Earth spins
from yin to yang
- dark to light
- death to growth

what is one
becomes the other

infinite duality
less than grains of sand
in a mirror that reflects nothing
but a fleeting conscience 
- seeds from death
that grow in the light

When opposites collide

I live in a small condo
with a unit upstairs,
and there resides one
very temperamental bear..
He has a darling wife,
so bubbly and fair, but he
can be so dark and moody,
spreads his gloom every where..
At times he hears my footsteps,
although I live below, so I take
off my shoes and walk on tip toe..
I slept in my guest room

Yin Yang

one to impress and send you her look 
that makes all else pale.

Do not take for granted that she is there.
To make you laugh as she clowns with the children, wearing many crowns of the wildren.
